This is the best event of the year, don't miss it! me and my brother received 29 bitcoins! thank you!

When I posted a message saying I'm not sure this is credible and indicating their website doesn't work, it seems moderator has removed my message and removed me from the channel.

Anything else that should be done about this besides reporting spam to Telegram?

Does anyone have Binance contacts to report this?

P.S. moderator name shows as Jack Watt and in his profile it says "Binance Customer Service"

yes, with the price of bitcoin like this, I'm not sure, someone especially big companies will share bitcoin for no apparent reason, an unfavorable contest. for my telegram problem too often, more usually it is because there are people who enter groups that are not clear, then they change the channel name or content of that group

One thing to keep in mind: never do telegrams. There were a lot of scams and there were a lot of scams. Signs to identify scammers: They usually send you private messages to give you very good deals. They will increase the number of tokens you buy in a project. These are the kinds of scams that are usually there.

haha I have met and found this kind of thing often and this is not only for fishing but the results are not usually shared on fb and other social media and I am not surprised if there is a boot scam and I will investigate deeper and I am very happy
I agree with your words exactly the same as what I thought so we have to investigate whether this is a scam or not, especially the telegram bot which is increasingly high disosmed and I am not surprised if this has happened long enough

I believe that this is a modus operandi of this camera and this is not just the single group but there are multiple groups floating around Telegram and most of the social media platforms out there. That's why it is always recommended to do some research before taking any decision especially when it comes to investment. I believe that this is a game of cat and rat and hence having due diligence all the time is necessary.

This is nothing new in telegram. Lots of scammers are posing as telegram channel admins. They copied the admins' name in an ICO channel and try to send you a direct message persuading you to purchase tokens from a scammers wallet. We should be all vigilant when it comes to these crimes to prevent any frustrations in our part.

Always remember that if its too good to be true then it's certainly a scam. Telegram Channel admins don't send private messages first. If someone sent you a message and its an admin name, you need to double check the name and never send any btc or eth.

Scammers are literally will find everywhere and anytime and  the worst thing is they are not easily been detected as a scammers because mostly of them has a better platform and  good systematically way to encourage others to join to their projects and to be their victims. So it is much better that we need to be much carefu and smart to think many times before we do act and decide. We need to be much knowledgeable about this by finding first the proof either they are legit or not before participating or joined in any projects therefore we can avoid to scammers and be the one of their victims.

There are tons of them and the clique are usually in various ICO telegram groups adding people against their. I think one of the easiest ways to prevent them from adding you to such against your wish is to change in your telegram and limit people who can add you to groups/channels to your contacts only viz - settings > privacy and security > groups > my contacts

Definitely scam ! I have the same telegram group as well recently which they used binance name to scam people because of being popular.

It says. "binance giveaway "  and there's an option if you want to recieve the giveaway instantly. Which is those only who have 1 Eth are eligible to join . For example :  if you send 1 Eth on their wallet then you will receive 2ETH instantly and sometimes 3x. Lol i was impressed in my first time but they removed me when i figured it out that those who send feedback are bots even on their site all messages made by bots   Lmao

There’s load of stuff like this which periodically gets posted here by scum bags. You’d have to be quite stupid to fall for it but it happens. Report it & a mod will likely nuke their account.
Yes, I know that the telegram is used for things that are not used and I think this is a way of hacking and fraud because telegram is used all over the world and is easy to use and it must be avoided and I have been a victim of a telegram scam, boot and others.

There are many similar scam groups, requesting you deposit a certain amount of BTC or ETH and have it multiplied.

This should be fairly easy for anyone to spot, except they are driven by greed which is the ultimate took of scammers.
If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't

definitely a scam group and waiting for someone to be their victim. Do you have the specific telegram username of the channel?

It's odd it doesn't show the link or handle for either group or its moderator.
If you search for "BinanceBlockchain" however it shows older group with same logo and just 1 member.

I can't post images here but uploaded few screenshots on dropbox here:

If you are wondering why you suddenly were added to a telegram group, check this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.46718217

Someone organized it and added you, there is a guide there on how you can avoid it later. I was added recently which is why I tried to leave out from groups which I counted more than 12 groups I never knew I joined.

Thank you, it is helpful to understand how I ended up here. Indeed I've been a member to several ICO groups, was doing a research on blockchain solutions for supply chain & logistics.

Reported the group as Spam and deleted it.

This is really nothing new. I really suggest against joining Telegram groups in general, especially exchange-related groups. If you have a problem, email them or join their confirmed official social media groups instead of doing a quick search and joining the first result.

As for that group, I really don't know if we can do anything about that. Is Telegram actually trying to remove scammy groups?

It has been mentioned above that the telegram channel is BinanceBitcoin Channel.i will check later about that group

But for now better transfer this Thread to Scam and Accusations Section, since this tackels about that matter dude

Anyway upon your presentation this is a purely scam channel on telgram that must be avoided
