I've always loved solving puzzles and that's how I got into gambling. In principle, any gambling game can be considered as a kind of puzzle. But there are a lot of elements I like about gambling. And calculating odds and various philosophical elements of sports, winning and losing. You know, it was gambling that led to the creation of the theory of probability. I believe that in gambling there are still a huge number of unexplored areas and an equally huge number of undiscovered patterns. Gambling teaches you to think probabilistically.

It's the unknown that really awaken gamblers, like you and me. It could be puzzle for you and you see yourself as a problem solver. But for me, it's the adventure, I mean we will have a boring life if everything is written for us and we all know what's going to happen next. And so it's a very different mindset if we gamble, we wanted to test our luck and again that unknown, we don't know what the next dice will be in relation to our bet. Or that last combination, last bet but then you hit the bonus and win big, that's adventure.

And that's what teaches us as well, beyond the wagering and we put everything in line. Others specially non-gamblers will not understand that risk that we take. That YOLO attitude. But if we look back at it, we can say one example is one thread that you open about the founder of CEO and how gambling save his company.

My personal observation is that I am now drawn to movies that have a casino story line. In the last couple of months I have seen more than 10 movies on gambling. It is almost relatable to real life. And I request that you reading  this recommend more casino movies with me. I tried it with casino books or novels but it is just boring.

I thought it was weird at first, because I know I’ve never fancied any movies that had to do with those type of storyline except it was a thriller movie or magical adventure type of movie but recently I noticed that I was able to complete “Uncut gems” without having to skip any scene of the movie. I guess my gambling habit might have contributed to it like you said.
The Uncut Gems is a nice movie, but for you not to have known outrightly the reason why you watched it completely could only make it uncertain that your gambling life made it possible, the reason should have struck you immediately. Any movie that is interesting will always be captivating, especially with some casts and it is not peculiar to our lifestyle at the same time. But for me, I do not think I've ever been so compelled to watch movies simply because they depict my hobbies. I have my kind of movies and frankly, I've let go of many gambling and crypto movies despite being fully involved in them.

However, if I see some characters in them, then they are my must-watch. But what gambling has made me undeniably do in my living is to be more calculative and managerial. I do not trust anything but calm down to analyze wisely before making a decision.

Hmmm, I like to be as optimistic as you. Wink

But, you are right. Somehow I get to try and make a strategy too whenever I play slots. I know there's no such thing when it comes to those types of games but what if there is?
What I do is withdraw quickly whenever I reach the minimum withdrawal amount. The only wall that I could see was the wagering requirement after winning a large amount and I have experienced it a lot of times.
One time I won the x400 in a slot game and I wanted to withdraw it quickly then a warning popped out telling me I had not reached the wager yet. Sadly, I lost it all while trying to reach that amount.
It's a strategy that I thought could work but there's always that obstacle where the system will cut you.

I think that as a player on gambling sites, I've started to like football more. I didn't watch anything and didn't care about my local teams at all.

However all this interaction with gambling led me to meet many people that like gambling, and for most of them sports love went hand in hand with it. So through discussion and friendships I've managed to pick up a taste for football too. Now I watch my local teams' progress and I also occasionally look into big matches. For someone that didn't watch big sports at all, I think this is a positive change. Now I too can resonate with something a very big part of society also does.

It's interesting though that most people have the exact reverse experience. In other words going into gambling because a lot of its promotion is based on sports and they liked sports from before.

What are some of the hobbies that you have picked up as a result of your long term gambling but that doesn't involve gambling? If you are an avid gambling who is not addicted that is you have control over your gambling you may have caught yourself unconsciously being attracted to so other activities within the sphere of gambling that doesn't involve wagering. As for me one of such hobbies /pastime is being active in a forum like this where there are gambling enthusiasts. I enjoy joining in the discussions that go on here, I also enjoy sharing tips and reading the experiences of other people with similar interests in gambling.
The habits that I can think of that one could get into if they are a gambling enthusiast are collecting items that are related to gambling such as decorative chips, gambling tables, cups, and classes with gambling logos and quotes, etc. Another hobby could be that a gambler might love watching gambling-related videos, movies, or streams where people gamble to entertain the audience. To be honest, I also love watching gambling videos and streams, it is just fun.

I think these are the hobbies that I can think of that a person can get into once they become a gambler if they are serious with their gambling or they enjoy gambling a lot and want to have everything related to gambling around them. Some people would also enjoy making friends with fellow gamblers they meet here and there.
A gambler must always want to involve himself and themselves into a gambling related tells and discussions through that they get possible information towards the team or club they are to bet to, most time it will be more interesting to join some groups that is entirely dedicated for gambling discussions without involving in any other activities. There is also this desire to start some kinds of affiliates programs such as sharing their ref codes and running promotion for a particular casinos that doesn't give him or her issues when making withdrawal or deposit.

On some level I think I have started to watch and enjoy more sports due to gambling. I watch a little tennis, soccer, and now and then rugby. If I plan on wagering 1 day I need to familiarize myself with the rules and players of these sports.

Everyone should strive to educate themselves in any gambling game, but also not let it control their life.

Before now I wasn't much into sports bet, I'd rather watch and discuss wrestling, but when I met friends who watch and bet on football matches, I picked interest in football. Now apart from gambling, I enjoy discussing football matches with friends, we will discuss and predict matches. Football discussions is a common thing among friends in my neighborhood and it's very interesting. This gambling section in this forum is another interesting place where I enjoy gambling discussions about different types of games, experiences and gambling news.

Aside gambling, I usually discuss with my gambling friends in real life. Some times we just laugh about our previous wins and share stories of interest. We share new ideas which would be profitable for us all. Gambling is fun when you sometimes take a leg out of the game. A continuous gambling activity will one put you into jeopardy and might even make ones life crush. Also this forum is where I mostly enjoy my gambling discussions. So when I have nothing doing or free from work I just get into any active thread a drop my opinion of the matter. It's a very interesting thing to j ow that I can really communicate with a lot of different Gamblers from all over the world. Where on a normal, it's difficult to get such unlimited access to opinions.

As part of the benefits i learn from the gambling activities of the forum which are non-gambling benefits are the socialites i got to meet from  here, the interactions and discussions, with openness to new opportunities after interactions, another aspect of benefits is from the learning angle, i also learn from here and in gambling, there is nothing as good as making fun while learning is taking place and you can as well get informed through the process.

Now I don’t have any strong interest in gambling other than making money. But back in 2016-2017, Bitsler used to make Bounty rolls, which is basically a contest where gamblers beat other gamblers by hunting a number in dice. The prize money was very high, and it was basically free money. So yes, these types of games where the prize is real money kept me attracted towards the gambling. I still miss those eras of gambling casinos. Just Primedice and Bitsler and their amazing events.

I am an active gambler in sports betting on football and several other sports and apart from that I have hobbies outside of betting such as watching every sports match and I even watch sports matches that I don't like.
So much so that I have a subscription to several paid applications to be able to watch every sports match continuously, even though I only bet on a few sports, but for me watching sports matches is really fun when I have free time.

I also have the same habit as you, if sometimes there are no matches scheduled, I start to read some new news on this forum, especially regarding football and other games too.
Even so, I am still an active gambler even though I have control and also have hobbies but I continue to bet every chance I get.

I've not really noticed anything new apart from the fact that I've started involving in football discussions more often than I would normally do and it's always about who would win the next match and which team is enjoying the best form or if they are any sure games. Normally I used to be a player fan and would of love players over clubs but now it's all the stake for me, but it's quite cool 😎.

Although I've also picked up a habit of asking people for ticket codes to see what they are up to and conpre with my own predictions to sometimes clear my doubts on some games that I'm not quite sure off or to try my luck on someone else wager.
Same with me. With the added spice of gambling, I started to be more active in different sports. I think this is the real purpose of gambling, it's just to add more fuel to the sport that we love so that we won't get bored with it.
UFC, Car Racing, Basketball, and Boxing, are sports that I do love but sometimes it gets boring to try and research and analyze the incoming game or fight because we will have nothing in return after the game. But, when we put some money on the line it changes everything, our perspective on the game, our cheering capability is enhanced, and we sometimes even shout for the game although we don't do that normally. Emotions that will make us watch the next game again. Wink

I think that's one thing that you will noticed if you started to bet on the favorite sports that you followed. And when you see discussions, obviously you want to involved yourself as you can have a say on the subject matter and can still increase your knowledge on that sports as well.

And mostly, you are going to tune in the matches, even if it might be late to your time zone because you have a bet on that game. Or you can enhance yours skills to predict those games because you are watching every game and see how this teams might fare against each other in the future.

Definitely, watching or listening from the radio more matches, races and other events. Or at least reading news about it, when you bet it's something you can hardly restrain yourself from doing because it interests you and because you think you can do something from those informations in order to place a better valued bet. In addition it's exciting to follow an event when you have bet on it or at least to learn how the event took place.

I also have similar experience. Because if you are betting on a particular sports, you tend to learn more about the game, the athletes, their current health conditions - yes, knowing their health and mental status somehow can affect their performance inside the field. Also, I try to check their social media tweets or other statements, what they have to say, and read between the lines. I'd say, if I am closely following a certain match, I think I become a gossip person. lol But not to the point that I will discuss it to other people. It is only for my own consumption and weigh my chances of my bets.

And this is why, discussion threads in this forum is quite helpful as you will read insights that you never think for yourself. Some users have actually good analyses of the upcoming events. You can already come up with good decision afterwards.

We all have our habits and we based our facts on the necessary plans for improvement and notwithstanding the pressuring force of the system. We gamble for extra changes for our pockets and not according to the outside plans. We have absolutely nothing to lose but our essential money in the pocket. Football discussion and engaged ourselves with football related predictions groups and telegram channels, atleast they will provide aides for us when it comes to games. We predict and most time our predictions doesn't go according to plans.

There is a gambling platform that has got a chat box where Gamblers get to meet and express their selves and probably share ideas on how well to gamble some even State out some strategies which help them to win, i have picked intrest in that chat box that i just find myself always there whenever I'm not gambling or on the forum here, some even share their gambling stories a s some of these stories are funny and rib cracking while the others has got a whole lot of lessons to learn for it.

Away from that place is a fan zone in telegram that i joined so as to get updates on happenings around teams and they have actually helped my knowledge a whole lot scrolling through the channel as they do have both speculations, rumors and facts about football.
