So we have the following prices for currently shipping ASICs...

Butterfly Labs Single - 50GH/s @ $2499.00 (BFLBLACKFRIDAY Discount 25% off price $1874.05)
Avalon 4 Module Unit - 85GH/s(?) @ BTC3.5 @ current Bitstamp price $1024 = $3584
ASICMiner Cube - 30GH/s @ BTC1.99 WTCR price @ Bitstamp price $1024 = $2037
Bitmain Antminer - 180GH/s @ Auction price of BTC4.5 = $4608

BFL - $49.98 per GH/s (BFLBLACKFRIDAY $37.48)
Avalon - $42.16 per GH/s
ASICMiner - $67.90 per GH/s
Bitmain - $25.60 per GH/s

Bitmain is clearly the best buy.

Please correct me if I've entered incorrect data.

Refund offer from Jan 2014 newsletter is not true, by my experience.

My story goes...

- Ordered Nov 27, paid 28, 50GH boxes @ $2,499 advertised as IN STOCK, SHIPPING IMMEDIATELY!!!
- Followed instructions for payment and emailing office@ with the wire info.
- No email from BFL.
- Missed Black Friday sale, damn.
- More than two weeks later funds confirmed received. I log on everyday to BFL account, that was the only reason I knew of the status change.
- No email from BFL.
- Price drops, grrr. Not a happy Christmas.
- Another two weeks go by then status to processing.
- No email from BFL.
- Price drops, F-me.
- Not a happy new year.
- Jan 2014 newsletter allowing request for refund on 65nm orders that haven't shipped. I emailed office@ right away requesting for refund. PM BFL_Emily the same request. Glimmer of hope. Who would want their $2,499 boxes when they're worth $984 now? Not me.

- Today, I checked my BFL account and its marked as Completed. Ready for pickup via Fedex
- No email from BFL

More hurt…
- I requested USPS for shipping because they won't have brokerage fees or much less than Fedex, items being shipped to Canada.
- I will have to pay sales tax since its being shipped to Canada, by all indication, the invoice will show $2,499 instead of the current $984 price, so I'll end up paying more tax.
- Difficulty level rose 1 or twice already, loss of BTC mining income.

Who's selling ASICMiner?  Are these the new Cubes?

My July jally has been fullfilled for over a week and in production for 2-3 weeks. You can't believe anything BF says. Wait until they actually do something.

Love how you fail to see the point.  Even if I had said 3 months back then, the response would have been nearly the same.  It's like the guy I offered a bet to that they'd be caught up by Dec 15th after he predicted Mar 2014 and he refused the bet.  Nothing but piss and vinegar.

I bought a couple of Singles during the Black Friday sale and they went "In Production" this morning and are now showing "Fulfilled" on my order page.  I haven't received a tracking number yet.  I hope this is for real and not some more shenanigans.

If true, this would make BFL the only current ASIC vendor instantly fulfilling new orders from stock.  Oh the irony!

2 months after 9/22 would be 11/22. Let's look at the shipping update from 11/22.

3 out of 4 lines failed to deliver in the 2 month time period.

 These can be had for 1 BTC in group buys, which works out to ~$34.13 per GH/s

I guess if you want to nitpick about who ships the miner to you.  I just got new (not overstock) asicminer gear last week, took 1 week from order to my door at a better price per GH than BFL.

                                                   

ASICMiner does not sell to the general public and AFAIK they aren't currently shipping any product to resellers at the moment.  If items are in stock it's probably only because the reseller had old overstock.

I agree that they're overpriced, but what are the alternatives?  I don't think you need to be sorry, you raise some valid points and I'd be super cautious if I got fucked around by everyone in town too.  I'm not a fan of the current landscape, but it is what it is.

Well,to me they're overpriced..............I don't have $4000+ to spend & I'll never order BFL again...........or Avalon for that matter.

The whole BFL/Avalon late delivery has put me way behind what I should have earned had I got my units,in either case,in a "timely" manner

The key phrase is "shipping from stock".  Aren't Bitmain just auctioning tiny batches that instantly sell out?  I'd love to get my hands on some but I always miss the auctions.

BFL may be way overpriced right now but I can turn around and resell these on eBay and make $1000 per unit in profit.  Whatever the market will bear is where the price will settle.  A month ago you couldn't give Singles away on eBay, lol.

They're being OC'd to ~200GH.  BFL is at $10,000 for something comparable.

Asicminer would be ~$5000 for the same.
