I kind of got lost in the sea of information. Why exactly are you trying to find where that photo was taken from?

What office BFL was using within that Section 8 housing project directly above Restaurant Baklava across the street from Josh Zerlan's employment at the time.

What a funny coincidence (and "the courts" really do believe in coincidence)...  Roll Eyes

The above photos WEREN'T taken on the same day, time of time, or even at the same location, i.e., BFL's office(?) supposedly located at 25 E 12th St, Kansas City.

Time of day: Notice the shadows caused by the miner and cup.

Same day: Via deduction due to the following revelation.

Same location: Location IS in the same building, but on different floors in different offices(?), hence partly the deduction mentioned above, for BFL could've easily took two subsequent photos depicting the mining with and sans the covering as the description below the images relays per on the link provided at the top of this post and as follows: http://web.archive.org/web/20111107210232/http://butterflylabs.com/november-production-update.

Further, notice the windows of the building across the street from the office(?) window the two images were taken. For all practical purposes, the images were taken from basically the same line of view. But, the windows seen across the street are 100% different windows than the windows depicted in both photos. Yes, they're of the same building across the street, but of different floors.

I think that the two photos were taken from the same spot too.  For the photo on the right, the camera was placed much lower, so that the view of the building across the street started about 1 floor higher.

I.e. the bottom row of windows (with 3 panes at top), barely visible in the left picture, is not visible in the right picture.  The middle row of windows in the left photo (narrower, with 2x2 panes) is only half-visible at the bottom of the right photo, and so on.

EDIT: the shift may be 2 floors rather than 1.  The camera may have been lowerd by 0.20 m.  If the window is 1 m away and the other building is 20 m away across the street, then its view would be shifted by 4 m upwards, give or take a few meters.

EDIT 2: given the change in teh camera's position, it is hard to tell whether the sahdows changed much between the two photos.  I would say that the difference is small, less than one hour.  The glare on the other building's windows seems to be about in the same place, which is consistent with that, too.

EDIT 4: in fact, from the right picture we can tell that it was taken from a floor that is at the same height as the floor across the street whose windows are cut in half by the lower windowsill. The windows in that floor have 2x2 panes and are aligned with those of the floor above (2nd row from bottom up in right picture).  The windows on next floor higher up (3rd row up in the right picture) are wider so that the wall slice between them is narrower.  Thus the floor could be identified with certainty from that.

EDIT 5: In other words: the building across the street has the following floors (among others):

A: wide windows with 3x2 panes
B: narrower windows with 2x2 panes, not aligned with teh windows in floor A
C: same as floor B
D: slightly wider windows with 2x2 panes, aligned with the windows of floors C and B.

On the left picture we see a the tops of the windows of floor A, then B, then just a bit of C, on the right side.

On the right picture, we see the top half of the windows of floor B, the windows of floor C, and most of those of D.

Both photos were taken taken from an office on a floor at about the same height as floor B.

Production is underway on our initial run of pre-order units.  As a member of this program, we invite you to review the photos below.  Professional photographs are scheduled for early next week, but in the meantime these candid shots should answer most of your questions about the size and shape of the final delivered BitForce SHA256 Single.

Release schedule:  We’re currently working on final MCU firmware and software device drivers.  It is our expectation this will complete within a two week time frame.  Note:  Members of our packet verification product program will receive a different firmware package and your deliveries will be staged based on final firmware for your application.

The above photos WEREN'T taken on the same day, time of time, or even at the same location, i.e., BFL's office(?) supposedly located at 25 E 12th St, Kansas City.

The building on the left has overall the address 25 E 12th St. in Kansas City. Notice the Zaina restaurant on the first floor were Josh Zerlan supposedly enjoyed many a Mediterranean meals, topped off with baklava I may add. The building on the far right is supposedly where Josh was employed, penning posts related to BFL at his desk on somebody else's time clock.

It's the building on the left that Sonny Vleisides took the two photos within two different offices(?) on two different floors at two different times. The next photo, also cropped from Google, depicts the building across the street, the street being Walnut Street at the corner of 12th Street in Kansas City.

(click the image for a slightly larger image)

Notice the shape and sizes of the windows on the building located at 1201 Walnut, Kansas City. After the forth (perhaps it's the fifth or sixth) floor all the windows line up, whereas below said threshold, the windows are of different configurations.

Now, look at the two images at the top of this post again. What do you see? I see in the left image the transition between the two floors of the 1201 Walnut building, but the image on the right clearly shows the windows of the floors lining up. The two photos taken would be impossible if they were indeed taken from the same window, at basically the same time of day, and from the same line of view no matter how the camera was held.

That said, the following is a complete stretch, probably bearing no relevance.

The building across the street has the address 1201 Walnut. By extension, the building from whence the images where taken would have the address 1202 Walnut.

To recap, the images were taken from two different offices(?) on two different floors in a building having the address 25 E 12th St. in KC. But, did BFL ever have an office at that location, let alone two offices on two floors? I'm leaning toward that someway, somehow BFL was able to use said address due to some connection(s) and via that connection(s) was able to gain asses to the building so that photos could be taken. Again, we're 100% talkin' 'bout two different floors where BFL supposedly maintain their office(s).

From the desk of Why Can't Americans Read Maps, aka Mr. Misinformation Inaba...

Original by Goat, but since deleted: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.588552

I live in Kansas City and run the EMC bitcoin pool. I also work downtown.

I can check this out any day of the week fairly easily.  I'll keep an eye on the thread, but there's no need to fly some out out here or ship a product out when I can just stop by at any time.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.597751

So I just walked across the street to closer inspect it.  Zaina is 25 Walnut Ste 105 and the Lofts are just 25 Walnut.

http://www.zainakcmo.com/

http://www.emporis.com/buildings/136446/chambers-lofts-kansas-city-mo-usa

How the fuck was it possible for a person working downtown and very familiar with the area, especially supposedly working on the same street that's outside his office window, report the address incorrectly? Does this crazy fucker even know the difference between a parallel runway and a perpendicular runway?

Zaina and Lofts are located on 12th St., not Walnut. Josh was standing on 12th St. in the ~middle of the block when he snapped the pic of the Lofts depicting the number 25 facing 12th St. with Walnut St. a half block away. FWIW, Chris A. Vleisides and Sonny (at the time) lives/lived at 9817 Walnut St., Kansas City, along with BFL's bank (at one time, but perhaps no longer) being located on Walnut.

Anyone?

I haven't been folowing everything BFL related, Please enlighten me on the fpgas and asics ETA.
I wish I could purchase BFL FPGAs and have them returned for ASICs, but if I'm to be able to mine on the FPGAs for a few month only and have to pay shipping back and forth it wouldn't be worth it...

It's ~100$ lost for shipping back and forth for a single and 400$ on a mini rig.

Wouldn't it be better if someone at driving distance from BFL could take care of mining with the FPGAs for us while we get our ASICs ready ?
(While paying electricity and maintenance fees.)

Inaba came by the office today and we spoke about just this issue.  Several overseas customers have been asking about this as well and it does make quite a lot of sense.  Inaba runs a data center of course...  and he's a stone's throw away from our office, so I expect he'll have a packaged solution worked up pretty soon.

Sonny Vleisides, aka BFL, is talking about Josh's suppose office across the street from BFL's office located in that Section 8 housing project. I think Wood Law should inquire about that exact address, this is if BFL keep the records.

For the longest time, said address was on BitPay's website as to where BFL was located, but there's never been a suite number attached to the address. How was BFL's mail delivered at the time, and who was there to pick it up? It wasn't till later that BFL moved to the Jefferson St. address, a building owned or rented my Sonny's step-Daddy-O, Chris Vleisides.

Ok, I've got some numbers back.  I need a head count of how many people are interested and the number of machines.  If you do not want to make that public, just PM me your info.  Once I get a rough final count, I can negotiate the price for the space properly.

This would depend on how it affects one's upgrade from FPGAs to ASICs.

I am working directly with BFL on this.  It will not affect your upgrade, other than get it to you faster.  It will also save your shipping costs, as BFL will not charge you shipping if you are hosting them here locally in KC (also means you don't have to pay for return shipping and you get the upgrade immediately instead of waiting for your unit to make it's way back to BFL when your upgrade turn comes up).

June 28, 2012, 03:53:07 PM CST was a Thursday afternoon while supposedly Josh Zerlan is in an office on somebody else's payroll. Wouldn't this action be considered a form a stealing from your employer?

Ok folks with Minirigs, here's the deal:

$250/mo per Minirig to host it.  The units will be hosted in a temperature controlled, free standing Data Center located near downtown Kansas City.  After speaking to several of the local DC's, I know that some of you have already tried to find hosting and I know the costs are extraordinary, so I am trying to offer this service nearly at cost to help everyone out.

If you want to host your minirig locally while waiting on the ASIC, you can contact either myself or BFL and let them know you want to host your unit locally. BFL and I will make the arrangements to get the units put up in their new home.

Power is backed up by a diesel generator.  If you want UPS battery power in addition to generator power, that can be arranged for an additional fee.

There are several control options once the machine is installed:

1.  You can supply a control system and have remote access to it. It will be 100% managed by you.  Laptop, netbook, etc... works best for this.
2.  I can supply the control system and give you remote access.  It will be 100% managed by you. I would have to pass the cost of the control system along to you. A cheap $250 - $300 laptop/netbook will work fine and is yours to keep.
3.  If you don't require remote access, I can host it on a shared machine running individual instance(s) of CGMiner.  You can supply me with a cgminer.conf file or let me know what pools you want to point the rig(s) at and I will set them off to do their thing.
4.  You can "pool" your rig with the rest of my farm and I will issue you 6058 shares of BFLS.RIG, you will then be paid out whatever your machine generates via dividend payments on GLBSE.  Dividend payments are expected to be typically 5% - 20% above the going PPS rate, but never below the PPS rate/proportional rate.  Luck obviously plays a factor, but variance is pretty smooth at the hashrate we are operating at.

This project is with the full backing of BFL, so your warranty, place in line for ASIC, etc... is fully intact. If your rig develops a problem, it can be returned to BFL for repair within 24 hours (likely the same day).  You will not have to wait or pay for shipping from BFL or back to BFL when the ASIC rigs are available, that is all covered through this project.  This project will not end after the ASICs are released, and your rigs can be upgraded in place (I bring the new ASIC rig, swap out the FPGA rig and return your old FPGA rig to BFL), or you can choose to take delivery of your ASIC as normal.

I am going to have limited space for units until I can complete the power build out at the DC, so it will be first come, first served.  The first unit will be going in on Sunday or Monday.

The very next day, a Friday afternoon, Josh Zerlan is once again stealing from his [former] employer.

Hardware is in!

On another note, I went to true up the GLBSE account for shares.  I may have to abandon GLBSE all together and figure out some other method of dividend payments, because I simply can't transfer all the shares around that need to be transferred.  It would end up costing nearly 400 BTC to transfer all the shares, including the upcoming ASIC shares.  At the current market rate, it would cost me almost $5000 USD to *transfer* shares.  Selling those shares would cost 2.5x that, or nearly $12,000 USD.  Holy crap!

I have a trouble ticket open for GLBSE, but if they can't help me, I have to figure something else out.  I simply can't afford $5000 going towards fees for a simple transfer, much less $12,000 sale charges.

Ya'll might consider petitioning GLBSE for sane fees (and by sane, I mean fractions of a penny per trade/transfer or a flat rate).  Right now, the fees are absolutely insane with the current value of a BTC.

2012-08-13 112:21:12 PM CST: http://www.walletexplorer.com/txid/2b8e83fa816d4501513b5e0ba4291428da9e30b68151110e5e4e74a1bd3012c4

Oh woe is me, I simply can't afford $5,000 sans touching what Pirate just sent me yesterday, ~$5,000 (yep, that's what it ~equated to at the then exchange rate), and I don't get my first paycheck from BFL for at least three weeks depending on when their pay period begins, albeit I could ask for a draw or, better yet, a loan against future profits since I'm the COO and all, hopefully to make VP one day. That'll be a special day, for I envision Aime's daughter sitting on my lap playing with my tail as I tell her that Daddy is BFL's new VP. Then, Aime's son, I and Grimm will play hide-n-seek under the covers. I'm such a Zerlan!

I find it amazing how Josh got fucked my Nefario's GLBSE, Mt Gox, Coinabul, Trenton Shaver's Pirate Ponzi, plus a couple other scammers that allude me at the moment. I have seen some Silkroad tx near hops to his known bitcoin wallet addresses, but have yet taken the time to connect them [micro] dots.

LOL make sure you take a picture of that to court with you.

Daddy, the boys at school said that you can't be trusted because of all the negative trust you have.

You tell them I made people give me those negative trusts.

I did, and they said it's the craziest shit they've ever heard.

What are these boys names so that I can sue their asses and get an RO against them to stay away from you?

One boy's name is Johnny, and he loses a bunch of bets with other boys.

Interesting! Any of those bets over $600 USD?

What's a USD?

Nevermind, I'll just fudge the exchange rate. Has Johnny ever posted where he lives online?

Dad, mommy said you're not suppose to talk to me about that stuff.

This is different stuff, dear. Here, pet my tail.

As an 8 X 10 Glossy? (think Alice[ and Bob's]'s Restaurant)

Bruno: Notice, your Honor, Josh Zerlan's Trust rating.
Judge: Mr. Zerlan, can you explain?
Josh: That's so funny, your Honor. I instructed people to give me negative trust.
Judge: That is funny, Mr. Zerlan. I rule in favor of the defendant, Mr. Kucinskas. Mr. Zerlan WILL pay all of Bruno's expenses for being here today plus court court. Dismissed.

Bruce Peterson: (calls Josh at home after reading the above) Did you see what Bruno just wrote.
Josh: I'm reading it now.
Bruce: Okay, this is what you have to do next since our original plan backfired.
Josh: Call me back, Bruce. A bunch of black vans just pulled up in front of the house.
Bruce: Okay, here's the plan to make them go away.
Josh: No time to listen. Just fire up DaBitcoinGuy and fuck with Bruno some more. Got to go. They're breaking down the door now.
Bruce: Can I have Grimm while you're locked up? Hello. Hello! HELLO! Fuck it. I just go and kidnap her, then change her rainbow colors to my liking.

Bruce: Hello, Mom. I just kidnapped a rainbow poodle. It seems that Bruno lied to me and that it's a boy dog and not a girl dog. You want him?

From the desk of FUCK YOU, I GOT MINE...

June 12, 2013, 06:48:19 PM CST: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.2456884

Payouts can be tracked on the public blockchain by filtering for the BFLS.RIG payout address: 1FZkF2T8JmSYFPv9oUJYfqZnaJEtSoJ3Z6

Several of the outputs are obviously minirigs:

1qH6zqtR4pKuZSQHeAFsyhXm5F9KWDemw
1MichaiLHNbRqWbUueLAybqU4yJ74wqyaV
1NoN4hfM5ib7h84iqULf19XcYngxpigZay (2 minirigs here)
1LubzcqSPEcYbVBDghjpuVWuv38XtWUhVc (another 2)
19ReAQrjmRUbg7o2y37ApcXJ56ccooHK2X
113zpYnErj3TocLbt8edH8eMCSwTZ7rc4y

From any one of the above addresses we can directly calculate the actual dividends/share paid by BFLS.RIG and compare them with the expected payout (based on assumed minirig hashrate and network difficulty) during the period of time since the previous payout.

The results are that we are converging to being 9% 'under' expectations. I'm not sure what the reason for this is, or if there is cause for concern; if a minirig averaged only 22000 Ghps then we'd be dead-on ... could that be a more reasonable assumption (I don't have one to compare)? If anyone has experience with a minirig I'd like to hear what kind of average hashrate can be expected.

Now, for those who know my style, you damn well know there's a funny part coming, eh? Well, not to disappoint, I uncovered that BWA via where Josh Zerlan sent some of the Pirate Ponzi booty from his 1GyJvB7qUst3UD2dVZcLyEmub58LLy3oqh BWA.

In the following two scenarios, which one is most likely:

1. Josh filed his IRS taxes fully depicting his Pirate Ponzi moneys and MiniRig moneys within the exact same wallet address, whereupon some IRS rep read it thoroughly, then determined that all looked fine and dandy.

or...

2. Josh didn't file his windfall with the IRS, at the very least not mentioning the Pirate Ponzi moneys part.

I'm bias, thus leaning toward Number 2. What say you?

For EclipseMC having thousands of users, I'm not seeing it, but I am seeing a large percentage of bitcoins going to Josh's personal wallet address: http://www.walletexplorer.com/wallet/077d53cdccf15a23. Go to that page and search for 0096cdb8ad.

EDIT: I'll be a son of a bitch! http://www.walletexplorer.com/address/1NoN4hfM5ib7h84iqULf19XcYngxpigZay also belongs to Josh Zerlan.

Title of this thread changed to BFL fucked us over again (redux) (NSFW) in 5...4...3...

So, a furry named Inaba, aka Josh Zerlan, also likes to hang with the boys via his alias Nitrowolf, eh? This begs the question: Is Aime Broyles a Pakled, considering she married this sick bastard before the advent of Bitcoin?

Before Bitcoin, Josh was basically a broke dick, even declaring such during his group buy of BFL rigs scheme. After partnering up with BFL, he was able to purchase a half-million-dollar-plus home on a base salary of ONLY $50K/yr. You or I try that and see how quickly we get audited by the IRS. In fact, go and purchase a car for $10,000.01 cash and see what happens.
