I don't believe in denial.
Has anyone got their email with options yet?  Or even their Monarch?

Why hasn't Jody but up the shipping blog so we can keep track?  They were supposed to have started shipping two weeks ago.

Im wondering about the card width.  Looks larger than 2x slots and thats the general spacing on most motherboard every second slot for PCIe and very few cases support more than 8 card slots.

Also your right they were using 4U cases in their examples so that still matches.

They really need to give specs like how long, deep and wide the cards are plus details on the radiator and tube length.  Trying to work out where to mount everything is kinda important for people trying to decide if they can use these things or a refund is the only option.

Jesus, REFUND.  Why are people still contemplating whether or not to get refunds?  They shit the bed on delivery.  They shit the bed on pricing.  They shit the bed on efficiency.  BTC is in a slump, get a refund and enjoy the best possible return on your 'investment' even if you're in the red.

There is absolutely no scenario here where if you have the option to refund, you shouldn't.

Note the fine print - refunds in currency or vouchers.    Chopperman foresees another shit coming when the refunds are only available as 50% usable currency and 50% worthless BFL money. Chopperman is guessing that it's 50% worth of hosted mining coupons.    How's that for a final dump on customers.

No kidding! Even BFL employees are requesting refunds. If you can't even sell to your own employees, who can you sell to?

While PCB performance specifications have come in above the 600GH we originally projected, we have not yet hit the 1TH/s per PCB mark that we set for ourselves based on the strength of the underlying ASIC chip. We have achieved much higher speeds on test boards, but in order to be able to ship now we have stabilized the board at 700GH/s with power efficiency of 0.70 W/GH (+/- 10%). While we will continue to pursue the 1TH version of the Monarch for subsequent delivery, we want to get the best product we can out to you now. Shipping of Monarchs will begin next week.

Here is an image of the Monarch ready for shipment to customers right now.
(Please note the form factor with water cooling instead of air cooling)

So whats the form factor on that and how many fit in a 3U rackmount case?

2 with some luck?

So much for those lovely pics with 4 in a 3U rackmount setup.
Well, that's most likely a 120mm radiator, so it will need a 4U case. You should be able to fit 3 in a 4U chassis.

This is a resounding success by BFL standards. Party time.

Are you serious?  Another product that should have shipped in Feb!  Another joke in my eyes.
This forum desperately needs sarcasm tags.

No I think it's appropriate, my humour is so dry in real life that sometimes even my wife doesn't know that I'm joking!   Roll Eyes

I've been watching this trainwreck for a while wondering why you people don't collaborate on chapter 7 proceedings against bfl or take direct legal action. Posting on a forum will get youu nowhere.

my .02

There is already a class action complaint winding its way through the court system.

it has all been tried done..;people won in small claims court could not collect so they went to class action suit..someone posted that if they go thru all the steps to a trial it would start in jan of 2016.....FTC/BBB/county attorney/etc ..all in my experience went no place (so far)

so basically BFL is getting away with it....I still expect them to go bankrupt and slip out with their EMC pool and personal assets/miners intact....
the BFL corp will go bankrupt with fines or settle class action...BFL imho is circling the wagons

but yeah no enforcement of regulations in the USA anymore...Gov't just wants to settle for cash...and the company in question does so by being
allowed to admit no wrongdoing (look at us banks all officers got off no one went to jail) and same with class action suit 1/2 will go to law firm
so they imho will settle long before trial....

anyway another corp win 1 people users lose 0... so it goes

From the angle of someone not involved i have learned a lot on this thread. bcp has been alluding to something that he/she knows you people need to take on bfl before its too late. looks to me like their exit strategy is close

Their exit strategy happened last week back in March 2013 when they kept saying they would have the miners shipping "next week" - not the infamous two weeks.  They continued to get orders even though they kept promising to ship, and then they started a very slow trickle of miners.  I think they were surprised at what they were able to get away with and then went for the Prestige - the Monarch.  Again I am amazed that place has not seen some form of attack considering all the angry mobs.

I would love to own one of these miners! somebody got one to sell? USD name your price and i will take your monarch today

Cheesy  BFL has not shipped any miners,BUT...if you were to get into Eclipse Mining Consortium's datacenter...you could get a few in a backpack & walk away Cheesy

But again, they're less than 400GH ATM & probably will be for quite sometime  Roll Eyes

Looking like BFL ain't shipping this month, probably not Aug,maybe Sept/Oct Huh  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

How do you know the hashrate? inside information?  If you want your money back look at pools, other than emc, get the ag involved and do your due dilligence

Uh,no,Josh has stated several times that the under performing miners will be used by them to give hashrate to early preorder holders.RIIGGHHHT  Cheesy

They will be hosting them at EMC,therein why I said arrange a visit & get em  Cheesy
