Just had a nightmarish thought.... can you imagine BFL having a public fax number? It'd just be stream after stream of complaints, accusations, demands, and gay ASICII porn with Josh's face.

I wrote a firm, factual, and friendly letter to [email protected] on a Saturday.  I was given my refund on a Monday.
- I'm not so lucky :-((   I have written a friendly refund request to [email protected] on 2013.05.22, and still have not received a refund.

CBFL comes to mind.

Christian Basketball Fellowship League?

Capital Bridging Finance Ltd?

Computer Based Functional Literacy?

Crystal Ball Fantasy League?

How about trying to help the OP instead of jerking off in the thread?

Dude, chill out. That's Google page 1 on CBFL. It's a question for PG (unless you can enlighten me on what CBFL means for him).

Seriously? Just put Chief in front of what the common definition of BFL is. I thought it was a no-brainer.

As a clue, and if I knew Photoshop, I would put a unicorn horn--acting as Pinocchio's nose--on Josh. If anybody's up to the task, please make it gold or orange. For bonus laughs, add a Costa Rican blue butterfly on the end with Josh staring at it cross-eyed.

Chief BFL works too, although I think there is a "meta" message in the Google results. Smiley

Erk is obviously either an employee of BFL or a paid shill with interests in not seeing BFL go under (not like the normal customer worries about their preorder monies).

Anyone who backs up someone who deceives or lies to customers is someone that needs to be trolled or at least outted lol...perhaps Doxed?  Tongue

If BFL were as good at making miners as they are at fielding refund requests, they wouldn't be in the situation they are in now.

The OP has only one option:

Write Emails.

I have written ONE to [email protected] and gotten my refunds within 4 days. And that was THIS week.

I second this... I wrote a firm, factual, and friendly letter to [email protected] on a Saturday.  I was given my refund on a Monday.

Hello Butterfly Labs,

I sent a request via your website, but I thought I would send from my direct email as well....

I am writing to request a refund and cancel my order for the Butterfly labs Bitcoin Miner.

Order # - Processing

I paid in BTC, but since bitcoins have been appreciating in value I would expect that $ USD would be easier to refund.

My paypal address is

Thanks in advance -

Once again the BFL fan bois modus operandi of

"Its the victims fault"

Maybe begging ..pleading,naming ur first or second born son Josh ...I give up.. Sad

That is a pretty bizarre assertion Yip Yip, calling someone who clearly severed all ties with BFL by requesting a refund, a fanboi...  Clearly you are hear to make noise an not provide any assistance to Troner --- good game.

I can only say that from my personal experience, BFL's refund process was painless and efficient.  If BFL were as good at making miners as they are at fielding refund requests, they wouldn't be in the situation they are in now.  Maybe they just have had a lot of practice....

I agree with you ...my bad

I think the "you are doing wrong" aka its your fault hit my buttons as I have seen sooooooo many BFL people keep blaming the victim .....

I agree that u should try any approach to get the best result for yourself in this situation ...who cares what happens just get your money back off those bozo's Cheesy

I asked for a refund from BFL 9 days ago, then repeated the request 2 days ago and so far I have received no answer.

I tried to submit a support ticket at https://support.butterflylabs.com but all I got was CloudFlare offline alert.

Is there any other recommended way how to ask for a refund? I wasn't able to find an email address for instance...  Embarrassed

Posting on this forum will achieve little, they don't read it due to trolls, you could try their forums.
But common sense would dictate that you ring them during office hours and organize it.

They read these forums all the time and u know it so why the dis-information ?

Unless OP paid with paypal backed by a credit card.  Then they may have more than one option.

If you are a "customer" and you want attention from BFL, post something that will stop people from pre-ordering.
Then Josh swoops and "forces" you to take a refund. Wink

It must be so frustrating when he can't force a refund on those of us who AREN'T customers, yet still expose BFL for the scammers they are.
