Posting on this forum will achieve little, they don't read it due to trolls

Interesting how these forums are apparently not important, yet it is important enough for them to spend $2,881.90 advertising here.

It is a textbook example of cognitive dissonance.

Name another company where the COO is allowed to spend its money. Isn't there another department that normally does this?

Not really. COO, CEO and CFO should be readily know about this and have the means to spend money.

COO should have an operational budget and often, marketing is seen as operations. But actually, the operations officer should be taking care of everyday operations which means he should be GETTING PEOPLE TO MAKE PRODUCTS.

Not a consensual refund? Is that different from a statutory refund? (Sorry, I couldn't help but joke about it)

*mumbles something about spreading cheeks and opening wide*

Consensual or Statutory. Either way Josh can get it.

If you get "an Angry Josh", you've complained waaaay too much.

At least if he get's "an Angry Josh", you can bet he'll get a forced refund !

If you are a "customer" and you want attention from BFL, post something that will stop people from pre-ordering.
Then Josh swoops and "forces" you to take a refund. Wink

All the signs of the end of BFL are here. If you haven't gotten a refund yet I strongly suggest you do soon. And if they aren't responding keep at it. Call multiple times a day. Bug them until you are in the clear.
Call them incesantly about your refund until you get "an Angry Dave" on the phone.

I asked for a refund from BFL 9 days ago, then repeated the request 2 days ago and so far I have received no answer.

I tried to submit a support ticket at https://support.butterflylabs.com but all I got was CloudFlare offline alert.

Is there any other recommended way how to ask for a refund? I wasn't able to find an email address for instance...  Embarrassed

Posting on this forum will achieve little, they don't read it due to trolls, you could try their forums.
But common sense would dictate that you ring them during office hours and organize it.

I would recommend you do what all the cool kids on the Butterfly Labs shoutbox suggest, and "Pull a Xian". You are not complaining loud enough.

I would call the phone number if you have not done so already.

(I clicked the "refund" button in their customers' area which redirected me to contact form.)
