Watercooling the world of mining
Just to drop in a newer screen.

Of course this is most prominent for the rig ( better thermal transport per volume)
but also people who prefer silent operation or want to try some overclocking might be interested.

Expected cooling temperatures will be given afther chip perfromances have been completly verified.

Water block!  That's great!  Perhaps I should buy one after all for my central heating system!

Anyone know what water temperature it will tolerate while still working full speed?  Or chip temperature?

Is that a custom fan to match the HS? Not replaceable.

Really I presume it's just a mock-up and the fan won't be integrated like that. It would be more expensive to do it like that unless you get a good bulk HSF deal.

Lets hope it isn't a solid piece.

BFL seems to have failed at the whole 'airflow design' thing... again... Top mounted fans that blow up or down are bad. you want are horizontal to the board, not vertical. But hey, at least there will be a waterblock option which more than makes up for bad airflow.

I guess we can put them on their side...

Depending on how hot it gets, we could retrofit some easy-bake ovens.

Now that would be fun to use Smiley

Why would something that's supposed to warm coffee need a fan? Wink

To better warm it, do you know bread oven with a fan inside? Here BFL applies the same principle

Regards

Oh, so you put your coffee inside the jalapeños?
Do you pour it in?

I'll go one step ahead, I'll do my coffee-cooling system. I just have to open a faucet to fill my cup.

So I'm guessing the Jalapeno is passively cooled?

That's the initial comments, with this power consumed, doesn't need fan.
