Noticed an update on the team blacklist.

"TEAMBLACKLIST (10-12-2018 23:33:14)": "12575;30513"

12575 is the Rosetta ID for Gridcoin, i'm assuming 30513 is the same for WCG, Rob can you confirm?

How do you check team blacklist?

Why is GridCoin being excluded? Wasn't the point to get more people to stake BBP for PoDC?

https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/team_display.php?teamid=12575

I don't see a team 30513. What is it exactly that you see?

This command seemed to work, I saw it in Thesnat's recent Pull Request:

In simply language, no money for PR. Because ...

There is money for public relations because it was a volunteer effort. If you don't know, why are you making assumptions?

example= why i can to buy bbp=  ill buy bbp=   then ROB starts support orphans=  nice dump price =  its evil for new investors..... investor wants only PROFIT

Not everyone that invests in BBP (money, time, energy) is looking for monetary profit. There are other reasons besides money. Maybe your only motive is money? There are other crypto projects where the only motive is money. So, why don't you find one of those you can make you lots of money with and leave BiblePay alone? I don't think BiblePay is right project for you because your values are not aligned with BiblePay.

Update on PR

Some time ago I tried to get a group together to see if we could create some PR-opportunities outside of what is currently being done already (mostly by Togo). I asked April if she could advice. She brought a wealth of knowledge to the table (thanks!) and we started making a plan.

The plan was basically:
1. To create a database with contact-information of journalists who have previously written about both crypto and charity.
2. Write pitches about big developments that BiblePay has.
3. Send those pitches to relevant journalists in our database.
4. Provide journalists with a contact-person in case they are interested in writing about us.

In the beginning the group basically consisted of April, sunk818, and me. Sunk818 stepped back after a while, and April simply is a very busy person, and doesn't have a lot of time. Apart from that April is basically there to advice us, and not to do the actual PR. So, broadly speaking, 'the group' became 'just me'. I started this PR-project not because I wanted to, nor because I think I'm good at it, but because I thought it was needed. I hoped to be able to bring together some people which did have not only experience, but also the time/energy to push it to the next level. Unfortunately I must conclude that I haven't succeeded in creating what I set out to create.

I have been getting some burn-out symptoms lately (because of multiple factors, not just BiblePay), and I've decided that this PR-avenue isn't something I can continue to keep on spending my energy on. I just don't feel happy at all when I think about it. And since I'm doing this voluntary, I think that my health should come first.

We have the database, and we have our first pitch, but I'm looking for other people to take this project from me and push it to the next level. If people step up, I can give everything we have thus far.

In simply language, no money for PR. Because ...

This isn't about money. This specific type of PR only needs people that are able to put in some muscle.

Free market answers you every day. Thanks for the free market.
Yes it does, and won't it be so splendid when we pass a 5$ mil market cap and sponsor 500+ orphans per month?

Free market is telling you some months already that without profit nobody will sponsor anybody anymore.

Free market has moved practically all small masternode coins down a 95% or more.

BBP is down 75%.

I think free market is telling us things, but not the ones you claim. In any case you are not a representative of free market.

Oh yes :-) Im not a representative :-) keep living in your bbp bubble.

I'll enounce in a different way so even you can understand it: in last Nov-Dec 2017 mostly every shitcoin was going up x10 and even x100 for the year. Today some of them are 1% that valuation or even dead.

Was the market telling you back then that all those shitcoins where a great investment? Of course not.

So be careful when you think you are "listening to the market"

Could you write me some examples?

Sure, what's more, you can also do exactly the same research instead asking others to do it for you.

https://www.worldcoinindex.com/

I have found 27 coins that lost more than 95% in the last 365d. 10 of them lost 99%. Practically all of these 10 had the ATH in 2017Q4. I will let you have fun analyzing the other examples.

Then when you are through, I encourage you to increase your awareness about markets by learning some interesting concepts about price and volume:

So, another noob question.

I began PODC mining a few days ago, staking the 1000 BBP given by the faucet.
My first two payments were 10 BBP each with 10% rewards.
Now, after a few days of running the BOINC  manager 24/7, I haven't been paid since.
If I run exec totalrac in the wallet console I get this message:

"Total RAC": 2284.15,
  "UTXO Target": 50251.3,
  "StakeBalance": 0,
"Note": "You have less stake balance available than needed for the PODC UTXO Target.  Coins must be more than 5 confirmations deep to count.  See coin control.",
"Threshhold to receive 10% rewards (below this UTXO Amount rewards are lost)": 1827.32,

So, what do I do now? Do I have to buy BBP from an exchange to continue mining? Or stop the Boink manager so that my RAC drops?

Probably you have exceeded your minimum bbp stake amount because your RAC had increased to much.

Solution 1: decrease your RAC for some period of time
Solution 2: buy some BBP on C-cex exchange and move them into your wallet

As you can see in message you got from the system your treshold value for 10% reward is 1827 BBP.

yes.....high price of BBP= high dump from his side  Roll Eyes

Until ppl will not see the visibility of profit they will never more invest bigger money into bbp. Today when you open the site can see only charity everywhere. Its great idea but where it starts there it actually ends.

Reminder: move your BBP coins off of Crypto-Bridge and Mintnodes while you still can

Also, we are 117 blocks away from Mandatory Version 1.1.5.7 taking effect,
this is about 13-14 hours away, remember to upgrade your wallets and masternodes!

Every little thing we do can have a ripple effect,
My talking in Dash's discord more lately and also challenging fluffy over Twitter gave us more visibility,

Rob, I didnt mean any hate by the "UX could use some love" comment,
I probably should have worded it as "more love", I also didnt read Suns message before posting
I was thinking Jaap and I are not website designers, we could use some help LOL,
and that I also still need help with designing ads

I think Sun was rude again calling the wallet design Horrible, the design is fine, its functional, its getting the job done.
But also Rob, sadly people judge things by how they look, if we can look even better Im all for it.

=

Also, hey everyone, We have a new front page design on the main website:
https://www.biblepay.org/

I like the front page, looks a lot like many other coin pages so it should aid in navigation.  Wallet is front and center that helps.

As for the wallet they say "beauty is in the eyes of the beholder".   I will say personally I thought the old theme was ugly...  No offence intended to anyone but I was grateful when the new theme came around Smiley

Edit:  sorry for the multiple posts...
