3. The "QT: 0%" stands for the new "quantitative tithening" I suppose?

Is QT (quantitative tightening) already being tested in testnet?

Yes, its being released in testnet now for linux:

Windows is compiling....

I thought this was just a concept, not something with time already invested..

If it is a spork, I thought you can manage the setting as a parameter. Code can exist without it being activated. That's my understanding anyway...

** PRE-UPDATE ON SEPTEMBER COIN LIQUIDATION **

Looking at this months budget, which is usually settled around September 29th, we are emitting approx. 14 million coins this month.

So looking at the ones that get liquidated for compassion, we have about 7 mil being sold soon on the open market.

(The ones for payroll are usually held by the devs and not sold).

Since a few people have asked me when will this happen (as far as their chance of buying etc) and how am I selling coins before the superblock hits, let me explain this (as someone had a rude comment earlier).  I keep a few million coins laying around and usually shut down a few sanctuaries around the 20th.  I borrow those free coins from myself and send them to the main exchanges (SX, CCEX, etc).  I keep a spreadsheet of exactly (down to the penny) how much each trade was worth.  Then I liquidate that amount at coinbase and record the transaction.  Later when the superblock is emitted I pay myself back and set up new sancs.

So this month I'm notifying of the coming sale, so you have a chance to buy the BBP.

Look for this 7 mil liquidation around September 19th, over a 7 day period.  Ill post again the morning that I start this (IE probably Wednesday) as a reminder.

EDIT: Someone accused me of comingling my personal funds with orphanage funds.  I never comingled a penny.  I fronted my own personal biblepay (which costs me the cost of not running sancs with it) and didn't restart those sancs until after the superblock was emitted, paid to the foundation and then I received the send transaction back to me- I never comingled a penny of orphanage funds.

Do you prefer a specific exchange or will the 7M be equally distributed across all the exchanges BBP is on? I use CoinExchange myself...

Most of it will be on southxchange because thats where the 52M order is currently.  If the price is better on the other two ill inform.

2. I tried the private coin mixing for a couple of months but never really got it to work,

I think you'd need a wallet that doesn't have cpid registered. Otherwise, PrivateSend won't be able to mix quickly enough to get enough rounds because you need several ppl wanting to mix. Maybe you, Togo, and Rob will have enough ppl to mix now.

I downloaded and installed 1.1.5.2 on Windows. Couple of questions/remarks:

1. For quite some time now (or since the beginning?) the Windows Installer does not look for the location BBP is currently actually installed. Since I don't have the wallet installed in the "Program Files" directory I manually have to change the install directory for every update. This is quite annoying and I think this would be an easy thing to fix. Wink

2. I tried the private coin mixing for a couple of months but never really got it to work, so eventually I gave up on it. Now I read that this could be related to the PODCupdate transactions preventing the coin mixing if they use the whole balance. Therefore I tried to limit this amount with the "utxooverride=" command in the config. However this does not work and it still uses the complete balance. Is there another command I can use?
The "privatesendammount=" command works perfectly, but of course my wallet still never manages to finish mixing.

3. The "QT: 0%" stands for the new "quantitative tithening" I suppose? Would it be helpful for testing this if I let my old Thinkpad run in testnet?

Edit: Well, that didn't go as planned. I just started it with gen=1 and testnet=1 and apparently it started it's own testnet, mining every block itself from scratch.  Grin
Any addnodes for the actual testnet chain?

Thanks for helping out in testnet! You can try 'testnet.biblepay.org'. Please use the testnet thread for further related questions Smiley

Edit2: Ah ok, the utxooverride seems to work now. Unfortunately the coin mixing still shows no progress...

I started a wiki for PrivateSend: https://wiki.biblepay.org/PrivateSend

I also recently tested increasing my keypool, I believe BiblePay by default generates 1,000 keys for you to use for new addresses and change addresses, when it runs out another 1,000 are generated. This means youll want to back up your wallet.dat every few months or so (depending on your usage) to get the new keys backed up.

Coin mixing can use up hundreds of keys, so I decided, why not just increase my key count?
In biblepay.conf I added: keypool=1000000, restarted the wallet and ran the command: keypoolrefill
It took an hour or more, and my wallet.dat inflated from around 10MB to 330MB in size LOL

It appears someone has Repented for "CHILD SACRIFICE" on 09-04-2018 @ 00:48:43.

oh prayers for that person

Yes, but also consider the legal implications. In the US there are several states with laws that require computer technicians who discover possible evidence of child abuse or neglect to report it to law enforcement. There are Federal laws that may apply as well.

Why is that even in BiblePay as an option to select?!?!

There are 40 mortal sins in the bible (for intents and purposes) and we have the 40 listed in the Repentance dropdown.

BiblePay should be based on the "BASH" system lol

LOL!

from wikipedia:

What is Bash? Bash is the shell, or command language interpreter, for the GNU operating system. The name is an acronym for the ' Bourne-Again SHell ', a pun on Stephen Bourne, the author of the direct ancestor of the current Unix shell
