We are less than 80 blocks away from the mandatory upgrade. From my amateur view on the explorer it seems like the majority of the network is still on old versions (mostly 1.1.2.x). Even the main pool is still running 1.1.2.2. Is this gonna be a problem? I mean as long as the sanctuaries are on the new version the whole system should be fine, right? People mining on a fork will (hopefully) sooner or later realize it and upgrade too...

The BiblePay Faucet is down: http://biblepayfaucet.com/
I messaged SEO_Account a few days ago when it was low, havent heard back,
Anyone interested in running another faucet?

I don't mind running one, but I don't have time right now to code one from scratch. Any idea if the source for that was ever released? I'd be happy to fork it...or at least look into it. Smiley

Light, what happened with PurePool?
The last block paid was 57227 found on July 9, 2018, 3:10 p.m.
The the Autosend to the BBP wallet is not working since yesterday.
We are missing 46 blocks rewards in the Transactions section.
Apart from that, the pool is not founding any more blocks. Last one found was the 57426 on July 10, 2018, 3:56 p.m.  (8 hours ago!) That is not possible.
Would you mind to check what is happening? It looks like the Pool is stopped since Today 07/10 at 4pm. (at least what we see in the frontend)
Thank you.

Mhh, the Biblepayd has reverted to block 53504. Not sure why. It is the current version of biblepay. I think I will let it reindex.

I've also had nodes that were on other blocks today (didn't  check if they hanged or were on a fork, just reindexed). I hope it's because of the update and will disappear again soon.

Same here, since last mandatory I have 1 or 2 MNs a day expire on a lower block number... strange

I deleted the whole biblepaycore folder except the wallet.dat and restarted biblepay. From my experience, this is the most reliable way, as it removes any blacklisting and other things, too.
It is already done, the pool had found the new blocks of the last 8 hours and should do the missing payments in the next payment cycle tomorrow.

Is it completely fixed? I don't see the shares going up again. And the Worker Shares in the last 24hs is also not growing but decreasing. For example, the blue line on the stats graph is stuck at 359,226 since some time and not moving.

Update: It seems that it is moving. I Will check again in a few hours. Thanks Light!

Thanks Light. What do you mean with "let it reindex"? Is this happening automatically? Or are you going to force a reindex of biblepayd?

Jesus is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords
For all of you unmarried folks who are still going on dates, I have two prerequisites that might change your life!

Take the woman or man (of the opposite sex) to the place and then ask:

  • Are you willing to die for Jesus?
  • Are you willing to read the bible at night with me?

I think these two things would decrease our divorce rates dramatically!

PROBLEM SOLVED!

I tried to compile the source in ubuntu 18.04 but failed. Does anyone successfully compile the source?

Ubuntu 18 uses an incompatible version of openssl,  I suggest using the ubuntu PPA
http://wiki.biblepay.org/Ubuntu_Packages

Bionic is not compiled there either:

I made an account on cryptobridge. My first feeling is pretty bad :-) i cant help. As I had right with qiex I hope that I will be wrong regarding cryptobridge. I dont like exchanges with rigid long loading... and loading because of  huge amount of information on each screen. During my 10 minutes of testing exchange screen freezed some times.

crypto-bridge needs more powerfull machine Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

CryptoBridge doesn't have any central server, that's why it's kinda slow. They use BitShares nodes distributed over the world, so your usage speed depends on your latency to the node you are connected to and the current load of the node itself. You can see that in the bottom-right, and switch to a different node. There's an automatic setting as well, but I've found that for me it's better to select a node manually.

Also, anyone can run a node and help with speed and decentralization. If you run your own node, you can connect to it completely locally and have a 0 ms latency, some people do this and the node can be private.

For me it will be torture to trade something there. On the other hand for example bitstamp exchange is terrible as well :-) and they have huge volumes traded every day and that is the most important for BBP.

I trade 5 other coins in CB regularly and it's not the perfect experience but for me it's more than enough. I don't like the fact that cancelling orders has a fee (even tiny). They have a decent customer service for the huge growth they are experiencing and the web interface requires a fast computer and can be improved, but is ok.
