I made an account on cryptobridge. My first feeling is pretty bad :-) i cant help. As I had right with qiex I hope that I will be wrong regarding cryptobridge. I dont like exchanges with rigid long loading... and loading because of  huge amount of information on each screen. During my 10 minutes of testing exchange screen freezed some times. For me it will be torture to trade something there. On the other hand for example bitstamp exchange is terrible as well :-) and they have huge volumes traded every day and that is the most important for BBP.

Interesting! Thanks for your opinion.
I guess they will refine things as they get more constructive feedback.
Were you using the web interface or the software one?

I'm also experiencing screens not loading properly. In my experience they either load instantly or they don't, and it doesn't matter if I use the web-interface or the software-interface. I've also tried different nodes but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

But we have to keep in mind that Crypto-Bridge is still in beta, and this is mostly a strategic listing, with the hopes of this exchanges becoming (one of) the largest decentralized exchanges later on.

I haven't experienced any problems with QIEX though.

I had forgotten 1 PC that was podcupdating. I add utxooveride=-1 at this conf also.

I do podcupdate from my main wallet but I can't see these updates on https://www.biblepay-central.org/en/podc/user/1987721/

I also do exec stakebalance and it shows "StakeBalance": 65824 but I have about 850K in my wallet.

If your main wallet is a QT wallet you should see the PODCupdates in the transaction tab.

Now that you found the culprit the savest way is:
1. regularly check on you main wallet "exec stakebalance". Wait until it shows your FULL balance.
2. perform "exec podcupdate true" and check if it returns "performed successfully over 1 CPID"
3. Wait at least 6 blocks and check with "exec getboincinfo" if your UTXOweight equals your full balance.

Good luck! Smiley

On another note: it seems like both pools took a crap this morning. purepool seems to be back, the main pool slowly also fills up its leaderboard again. Main pool is still running 1.1.2.2. it seems and should be upgraded within the next 2 days or so. Wink

Hello,

the outcome of exec getboicinfo is below.

"Command": "podcupdate",
  "PODCUpdate": "Processed (33) over 1 CPID(s) successfully."

"Command": "stakebalance",

I solve Rosseta task since the beginning. It has stopped to count my WCG task that I solve.

All my computers are visible and all are connected to internet.

My username is pagalo, same as here

Everything was running fine since Friday

I have updated to 1.1.3.8c my main wallet and 1.1.3.8? all other wallets.

All other wallets that are pooling are copied from my main wallet and don't do podcupdate.

Thanks

Kostas

Yes it does.

I updated to latest 1.1.3.8...

Hello,

In pool.biblepay.org I have the error CPID_HAS_NO_MAGNITUDE since Friday.

I also didn't receive anything from PODC. Last payment was on Friday also.

I have upgraded to 1.1.3.8 and after that I have these errors.

First, please check if your question is answered on this page: https://www.biblepay-central.org/en/documentations/mining-how-to/faq/. If not, then:

(i) Collect data so that we can do a proper troubleshoot:

What does the output of the following commands give you?
exec getboincinfo
exec stakebalance
exec podcupdate true
Have you been solved Rosetta/WCG tasks in the last 24 hours?
Are you on team BiblePay on Rosetta/WCG?
Are your computers on Rosetta/WCG hidden?
What is your name in the pool list?
Is your controller wallet connected to the internet 24/7?
What wallet version are you running?

(ii) Post the answers to above question on our bitcointalk thread alongside with a general explanation of the troubles you are having. The community will try to help you as best as it can.

Are you absolutely sure that the other wallets don't do PoDC-updates? Because I'm looking at the 'PoDC updates' list:
https://www.biblepay-central.org/en/podc/user/1987721/

And it seems that you have updates with a very low UTXO-weight (for instance, the update on block 57154).
It's been happening on-and-off since block 56445. So that would be around the time you updated your wallets.

Maybe the PODC-updates on biblepay.central need a certain amount of confirmations before they show up?

I'm sorry, I don't know enough about the stakebalance-thing... I can see that some of your updates are around the amount of BBP you get when you use the stakebalance command.

Can anyone else help with this?

Does the '10% orphans' in your title mean that 10% of the supply has been pre-mined or something like that?
No not pre-mined.
It means that every month (at least) 10% of our coins emitted that month are set aside for charity.
Often it ends up being more than 10%.

Thinking about it. Maybe the '10% orphans' in the title could be more clear. And the 'Sanctuaries' part is probably a bit overkill (outsiders only know the term 'Masternodes'). Looking at it from the outside again, they wouldn't know that 'POHB' stands for either. Those two terms would be something they would learn about when they start finding out who we are, but it's probably not something that would attract first-time visitors. What IS interesting though, is that we are participating in R@H.

First half is crypto-related, second half is about the good we do.

So maybe a better title would be something like this:

Quote
BiblePay | Masternodes | CPU only | Curing diseases | 10% goes to charity

Or:

Quote
BiblePay | Masternodes | ASIC and GPU resistant | Curing diseases | 10% goes to charity

Amazing analysis, I agree wholeheartedly! I would go with your first suggestion:

I originally found BiblePay searching for the keyword CPU

Me too. I was looking for a CPU only coin. I actually think having "GPU" in the title instead is maybe somewhat counter productive.

I also like the word charity more than orphans. And you are right, R@H is a pretty remarkable thing we are doing, it should definitely be in the title.

Maybe the word "Governance" could be also added somewhere in the title, because we are one of the few coins that actually has masternode governance, and it's amazing at it.

And as Togo suggested, I would add the 🕇 symbol at the beginning and the end of the title.

In any case, even though improving the title looks like a superfluous thing to do, I think it's very important, because I believe most of the people found BiblePay that way, especially because this thread is almost always on the first page of the subforum.

Thx! Yes, I agree on your point that the title is VERY important. You want to spread information from very to-the-point in the beginning to more broad later on. A few keywords can go a long way.

And I like the crosses! I didn't know that was possible Smiley

I also like the title slovakia posted, but maybe it's best to make the title as short as possible while still containing much information.

Maybe something like this:

Quote
🕇 BiblePay | Masternode Governance | CPU only | Help cure diseases | 10% to charity 🕇

Well, if enough people feel strongly about potentially changing the word 'orphan' into something more commonly accepted, I guess we could always make it into a proposal and see how the Sanctuaries vote?

Common word in english would be "sponsored" but it sounds like a bit corporate. In Spanish we use the word "apadrinar" which means "sponsor" too, but also comes from the word "godparent" and sounds better like if you were the virtual "godparent" of the children.

If I'm correct April said that in the charity-world you can also use the term 'orphan' in terms of 'economic orphan', as a way of saying that a child is orphaned by society.

Having said that, I myself personally only use the term for children that have lost (or abandoned by) their parents.

I understand charity industry may have different definition for "orphan". Since we are not in the industry, we should go by common dictionary definition which is the same as your understanding...

http://www.dictionary.com/browse/orphan
a child who has lost both parents through death, or, less commonly, one parent.

sadly, I'd also consider an orphan a child whose parent chose to abandon at birth or later in life.

Orphan is misleading because Compassion International's current mission is to help poor children. Originally, they helped orphans during the Korean War, but their mission is more broad now. Changing the word from orphans to charity is more accurate and allows more room to grow in the future.

My post title would look something like this:

BiblePay | 10% to charity | Masternodes | CPU mining only (PoW, BOINC)

I want to emphasize the giving aspect of BiblePay first. Technology is interesting, but the giving part is the main reason BiblePay exists and creates real change in the lives of poor children. How that occurs is interesting but should be secondary.
