I also think that we won't achieve the cap of 1000$ until the end of the next year , it can only be possible if we are able to fix the block size limit, if we are able to so then we will be able to increase the bitcoin size rapidly.
Anyway there is not such a way to predict matket activity and if you have the ability to fo so then you probably have an inside knowledge or you know an event that is going to happen.
I will agree that we will not see the price of 1000$ except something very shocking happened in world economy which could be force the markets to ask way-out to gold and bitcoins.
nothing impossible especially if we are talking about bitcoin ,
which usually have a lot of unexpected things ,
you know if then gold or any other stock market dropped before the end of 2016 ,
the first choice as an optional investment will be bitcoin!
I am also optimistic about a Bitcoin. And I believe that it will reach $ 1,000 by February - March 2017. Now its price is growing steadily. And there is every chance that it will be a very valuable
$1,000 are actually easy to be achieved , as few days ago the price almost reached $800 ,
it is hows how easy bitcoin price fight to go up $50 within a week ,
two weeks left before the year 2016 ended ,
it might go up for another $50 to $60 and then go up to $,1000 in first month of 2017, i can not see the sign of big crash here.
In my local currency Bitcoin is valued at $1,059
IMO that is a great way to read Bitcoin for newcomers as 0.1 BTC to them can easily be explained as meaning just over $100 AUD, 0.01 BTC as $10, 0.001 BTC as 1$ hahaha but really I think this is just the Christmas Boom that happens every year though this time a lot more people are not selling coins or buying with Bitcoins because of the recent increase after halving.
I remember not too long after the the first halving that the same thing happened but it dwindled back down slowly to the $250-$300 AUD mark (Originally From $1200 - $700) in 2014-2015 for a while, maybe the same thing will happen yet again in 2017 but with a bigger base price of $350-$400 AUD after it has settled down.
The pace of adoptance of users with Bitcoin is pretty much at the same pace as it was back then, still it hasn't reach minor mainstream, the amount of everyday people I ask if they have ever heard about Bitcoin say either "Yeah" with a criminal frown upon it but not knowing what it does (Very rarely someone knows what Bitcoin is) or blatantly stare at me thinking what is this guy on about.
With so many scams going on and people getting caught out running things illegally with Bitcoin I would assume that some bad news will be released to the Mainstream Public Worldwide regarding the Demoralization of Bitcoin & CryptoCurrencies in general with the people who use them and what really happens.
