Hello,

You clearly realised that , we are experiencing a dump. I think it will continue , I would like you though on the lowest bitcoin price in order to buy it.

I wouldn't call it a big dump. But it is quite a bearish market right now.

I would say this - if the price ever gets below $2100 then it's a good time to fill your bags. If price goes above $2800 then it is probably the safest to sell, and wait for the dip again. Seems like these days bitcoin is always going in a cycle of going from $2200ish to $2800 and then back again.

Buy BTC whenever you have some money left. Simple is that! Price will always go up and down in smaller or bigger swings.Never forget Bitcoin is a rollercoaster in this early years. However over the longterm imo the direction is upwards!
Furthermore I wouldn't call that a dump right now. More some kind of pit stop and cool down, before upwards action is happening again.

Long term is always up, yes. But short term there are obvious trends to take advantage of, like the one i listed above.

I really don't think it will continue.

First of all, if there was going to be a dump before the UASF day then it would have happened long ago. It's not like people didn't know about when the UASF was until now, so i think that a lot of traders actually responded quite positively and think the price will go up after the fork, which is logical as scaling issues are somewhat resolved.

The bearish trend seems to be over atm as well, everything is moderately climbing upwards again. If it does ever get below $2000 again though that would be the perfect time to buy in, fork or not. So save a bit of buying power in USD just in case it happens.

No I am not seeing any big dump is happening. Right now bitcoin prices are just range bound it is trading between $2400 to $2600 price levels. It is usual when there will be no significant news and event are not happening all markets will react like this only. But breaking any of these upper and lower bounds may open door to another wave of rally/dump in more quick time.

But many countries are coming with supporting news for bitcoins like Japan removed consumption taxes, these kind of things may lead prices to break upper ranges toward $3000 levels in coming days.

Price momentum is going to gather as August 1st approaches and the likelihood of a hardfork diminishes. Its currently at a nice discount due to the dumps over the past couple of weeks, I've definitely been increasing my holdings.

Just buy with amazing prospects and hold it. Almost everytime I sold because of panic, I lost more than if I would just have hold.
yeah that's the quickest way to lose your investment buy high sell low what a mess, i think this corrections will come back and it will bring big earnings when the market establish once more, the more you buy that deep and the longer you wait the bigger profits that you will get from this system.

That's why we call it "panic selling". Traders always buy low, sell high to make profit. This price difference can boost trader's ROI.

I wouldn't call it a dump, the price is averaging $2500. Sometimes it will go under , there times over. If you are a day trader buying under $2500 is cool to sell above $2500.

Well the dropped isn't that big and I was expecting that it is going to go down lower $2200 but it looks like it didn't happened. The current price is now at $2,450 and it seems to be ready to be back again at $2,500 and even higher. Hoping that before August 1 price will increase.

this is mostly a big fluctuation in my opinion. unless we break the $2300 again and enter the $2200 range i won't call it a dump. and the reasons are mostly panic and uncertaintly and the whales always enjoy this.

as for buying i will buy when the "dump" happens meaning the price went below certain levels. but that is only because i have made my purchases for this month and i am maxed out, so i have no worries about missing out on anything.

Well there hasn't really been a super big dump.

It is just an expected adjustment in my opinion. The price was quite high at $2900, and it didn't have enough fuel in the tank to get it over $3000 and everyone just panic sold and went down to $2300. It has actually happened two times already in the past month. It should be clear to anyone that the pattern is go to near $2900, get down to $2300, stabilize at $2500 ish and rinse and repeat.

Right now is a great buying opportunity. I don't think that for the next week we're going to see another bear market, but rather we're going to go $2700-2800 at least. Any price below $2400 is a good dip in price to buy in at.

I can't see a big dump yet. The price is still very high compared to a couple of months ago. We could experience a bigger correction though. If the price does take a big drop, we should look at it as an opportunity to buy some cheaper coins.

And where exactly do you see the big dump? And what indicators have you studied so that you can claim the dump will continue? Actualy the price is for a while now moving around 2400-2500$ with slight up or dowm movements. So, nothing revolutionary and not any exceptional happenings regarding the price, just usual volatility.

I see the price pretty much same as it was a month ago. at around $2450. It went from $2200 to $3000, but price is same as was 30 days ago. Price increases as was in first half of 2017 and specially second quarter of 2017 are not that often in Bitcoin.  But they do happen now and then. Nothing strange about it. I expect now was more steady BTC movements. But keep in mind that price change of $500 at $2500 price is way different then at $1000 price.

This isn't much of a dump but yeah price is certainly low than the ATH, might as well be the lowest we ever see so this indeed is a great time to stock on some BTC. Waiting may not be good thing right now, if segwit is signaled on 1st Aug then BTC is not going to come anywhere near this price again.

It's not every month, it's every summer months. I think that one of the reason why bitcoin and all altcoins are having bad days is because people are in vacation, especially from 1 July people prefer to spend their holidays far from the computers and electronics but the miners don't know what holiday means so I think that the price for the coins will get back after a month.

this is starting to become the story of almost every month, sometimes big and sometimes smaller.
price rises 3 steps then it takes 1 step backwards. by that time everyone, specially the kockdock comes here and starts posting about how bitcoin is broken and is going to die. then after panic sellers were shaken out another 3 steps forward is waiting for bitcoin and another 1 step backwards to correct... rinse and repeat until moon.

Bitcoin is a little stagnant right now, not going up nor down. I'm not sure whether the price will drop that much, but I have faith that it would start to rise, and now is also a good time to buy some BTC. Smiley

Now is the time to get them! Who knows, the price may drop after SegWit though..

I fail to see your logic.
If anything segwit could give btc a temporary last boost before it dies off completely.

Here we go again, not another kwukkduck and his the end of the bitcoin theory well you are just releasing FUD on the minds of anybody that can read that, well my guest that bitcoin is just gonna settle to the $2400 mark value and nothing more, then it will still goes up but I can not say if it will continue to the $3000 mark value but we will see if we can set foot to the $2800 again then it will be possible, but as of for now, bitcoin will not gonna end, and now that Satoshi Reveal himself! if he is the legit one!

Sorry to burst your bubble but there won't be a dip.
There will just be endless decline as bitcoin is being rapidly overtaken by superior technology.

Aw man that's too bad to hear. Source?

Ah I'm too lazy to get my bitcoins out of cold storage. I guess I'll just be a bagholder in 10 years when they're BTC10,000 for a nickle. /s

Just look at the markets. Follow the money.
Capital and resources are flowing into superior modern technologies. Not outdated unscaleable slow stuff.
Big companies and vc are investing in new tech not bitcoin.
