Binance is always moving ahead of every exchange, I've checked top rank coins and the major volume is coming from this exchange. Many of the people have already moved from bittrex to it because of the huge volume.
The market is very bad when even Binance can't pump a price lol

It's a matter of time, when the market turns around we'll see this x5-x10 again. Or do you think that this will never happen again? If so, you are deeply mistaken, the market has great prospects, you just need to wait!

While the listing did not affect the price increase, I do not know why. But all the same, the price of Nem will grow with the entire market after recovery.
Yeah, it surprised me as well, but ~ 10 days after, we can see that the (Binance listing) affect of price level was "almost zero". Unfortunately, of course. Really dunno why -- probably it's because continuing bearish trend of bitcoin and most of altcoins are (now) clearly driven by BTC price level (and news & FUDs around that biggest cryptocurrency). God knows.
I - as most of people in this thread - also firmly believe, that NEM is far undervalued now and it deserved much higher price levels and much better CMC position (currently #15 place is really annoying). But when - and if - this would be repaired, this is really (at least) "one million question"

Pretty big waves made recently with NEM, I see those PRs floating around with NEM tags about stealth projects finally emerging. It made a really hefty 40% jump last week after entering a new floor - one of the few I bought for 24-hour turnarounds, I only made 20% profits though, didn't expect them to pump so quickly and sell orders triggered overnight. That's probably why the volume's taken a hit. Profit taking.
I was just looking at CMC right now. Volume has suddenly gone way down. You think people are getting their funds ready to put in binance or whats the deal?

Why is binance the holy grail? It's just another exchange. I don't understand why being added to there commands the price to rise.

The speculation is that part of this volume will be focused on the new coin and this will lead to price increase due the higher demand. And this is happening almost all the time when a coin is listed in some of the top exchanges like Binance and OKEx.

not just volume is reason , it is most popular and most reliable exchange ,,
in case of hack or sudden pump or dump their system trigger such activities .
in last hack their ceo CZ told that hackers lost their money instead of stealing ..

This news could bring hype with nem and most provably we will see huge pump with nem on this next following days. Nem holders will earn more profits with this events and I'm thinking to buy cheap NEM's now and stake it for more days to see if binance announcement will bring more money on my pocket.

This is good news to NEM/XEM, kinda reminds me that I had NEM/XEM in other exchange platform, better to transfer it right now. Binance is a very good exchange to do day trading as they have very good UI.
This is actually great news for NEM/XEM, a big giant leap forward to positivity and progression. I might transfer some of my holdings to binance too because I like this exchange site and haven’t read any problems with them. But I do have to learn about their transactions and how much the fee is if it’s worth the transfer.
It's not the holy grail, but it is a popular exchange that would get more eyes on NEM, thus increasing it's odds at being traded and valued. That's how I see it at least.

Great news!
I guess this caused the 15% jump few hours ago. This will add the needed volume of XEM to be fully developed. It's a great blockchain.
Somehow Xem always had the lowest volume among top-20 tokens, 4 months ago their peak was at 5-10 million. I am wondering what took Binance so long to list them, Xem was well established as a currency a long time ago.
Finally a step up in the right direction. NEM on Binance is definitely going to prop up the currency visibility. Maybe Binance is all NEM has been waiting for all these years
yeah, of all the top coins on CMC I'm pretty sure XEM was having the worst week. Hopefully this'll get some traction going for them. Good job binacle
