This was discussed here: A very important update

If he is the CEO of Binance, I reckon this seizing of Palestinian funds might not happen.
Read what Taskford posted on the thread and see how CZ was not different in the past. Binance seize many people's coins when CZ was the CEO of the exchange.

To avoid repetition, I think you should lock this thread.

CZ might be a person who cannot be forced by any government and tell him how to run his exchange. If he is the CEO of Binance, I reckon this seizing of Palestinian funds might not happen.

And you seriously think CZ is not running the exchange today? Do you think Richard Teng is absolutely independent in making big decisions on behalf of Binance? Teng is no more than an employee. He is merely hired by CZ. CZ owns Binance.

Regardless, CZ doesn't impress me as "a person who cannot be forced by any government". On the contrary, CZ is that kind of man who prioritizes his business. And that means he is more than willing to seize funds, lock accounts, share personal details, and so on and so forth if those are what's needed to keep it running. CZ is all too willing to be restricted, to pay huge fines, to lick balls for the sake of his business.

It's FUD and it has been discussed before A very important update. Even though it's requested by Israeli government, but they only freeze the coins that related to Hamas, for them Hamas is terrorist.

After all Binance is a centralized exchange, it's a place to hold your coins on there, they have a control over our coins.

FUD. Only a limited number of user accounts, linked to illicit funds, were blocked from transacting. There have been some incorrect statements about this.

As a global crypto exchange, we comply with internationally accepted anti-money laundering legislation, just like any other financial institution. We will continue to educate users on how to safely and securely transact on our platform.

Most importantly, we hope for a lasting peace throughout the region.

This news update is not confirmed and this was only mentioned by Ray Youssef who is the CEO of peer to peer exchange Noones. According to him this seize of funds is a request from the Israeli defense forces.

This is headshaking if this is true. The American government forced CZ to give up his control over his exchange and this can be presently be forced to seize funds from their enemies and the enemies of their allies. I am beginning to speculate that CZ did not launder money or allow moneylaundering. CZ might be a person who cannot be forced by any government and tell him how to run his exchange. If he is the CEO of Binance, I reckon this seizing of Palestinian funds might not happen.

In any case, CZ will be released on September 29. This will be the beginning of the pump heheheheheh.

Binance has seized all funds from all Palestinians as per the request of the IDF. They refuse to return the funds. All appeals denied.
