Have you ever heard that binance is now taking huge step to help Coronavirus victims in Wuhan China? Their CEO, CZ announced that exchange promised about 1.5 million Dollars in USD to help the victims.

Link

Probably, cryptocurrency projects, exchanges and platforms aren't just made for profits of the great mind behind the project, but to willingly support the world in need.

In addition, I am thinking of the possible effects that Coronavirus could have to the market, and now I have the answer, Coronavirus will trigger people to withdraw their funds and to basically help people that badly needs support, and despite of its effect that could possible turn the market down, what is important is to help, and to make the world a better place to live in.

Lastly, Money and investment could be retrieved in the future, but what we could do to help China using cryptocurrency is what will make them understand that cryptocurrency is essential, and has the power to prolong life.

it seems that binance ceo is trying to make the better image of crypto to the world. i can remember that they have started the campaign for the Australian bush-fire as well. we shall stand as community to promote the positive image of digital currency

That's a good move from the Binance team but, things of such are easily misunderstood for things that are irrelevant, like what we had seen in the case of KoBe .B and the Justin. Hope for the move to yield positive results in Savage the current situation in China republic. Basically, these victims will live to remember cryptocurrency and its usefulness to mankind.

This is really nice. Such a small act of kindness.  This is the reason why I really wanted to share this to all. Cryptocurrency does really have significance and help to the society. Continue being a blessing to everyone Binance. I am really glad to what you've did. The families that was really affected to the coronavirus can't even work outside which resulted to no income at all.

Binance sharing his profit to those who are in need is a good sign that Binance will continue to remain profitable and a popular exchange.
Last time I heard they donated was just recently when there's a wildfire in Australia, the amount of donation is not huge enough compared to what they are earning on a regular basis but it's action is something we have to be proud as a user of exchange and a crypto enthusiast.
apart from such humanitarian actions, all of that can create a good sentiment towards the crypto market especially on the binance platform. indeed not directly but this can make their market strong with communities who also increase trust in the project and its development.
but it's good we don't have feedback from people, because it's a humanitarian problem.
Although I assure you that feedback on trust in binance and crypto will exist but for now I think it should be ruled out first.

And many will applaud binance for this, many will praise the CEO but is this really what they want or just to gain more reputation? Tron CEO did same thing by using the Dead athlete name to gain awareness, still feels like business to me, anyways, thanks for helping those who caught the deadly virus

I think this is an example to other exchanges. It is bringing out the physical or human face to the exchanges. Also for other exchanges, it is more like social responsibility that should be done in their areas and beyond.

This is some bullshit lol. Ignoring the fact that the virus is a joke in comparison to the last big outbreak in the region, this is just virtue signalling at its most basic.

"Sorry you got coronavirus, here's a dollar"

How exactly are they gonna distribute this money?

Coming from a newbie? What bullshit are you talking about. This virus isnt a news that if finished the hype it will be sorted out sooner. No vaccine or cure yet has been made for this, and people like you thinking that this is a joke deserved the virus itself.

How they will distribute it? There is what we called coordination I think. Of course Binance will notify right people or agency for the victim of this virus. Also the money can be used to support research and medicine for those who are still under hospitalization. If this noble deeds is so much to criticize by the likes of you then just be quiet. Youre not helping at all.

Fact: The current virus is no worse than the flu. Most of the deaths have been immunocompromised people. A deadly virus doesn't spread easily. It's all media hype.

Where are they gonna find the patients info? Even if they did the families will likely think it's a scam anyways cause who the fuck knows what Binance. Research and medicine costs? Most of the patients are in China.

This isn't a noble deed. This is virtue signaling.

This of course is all good. It’s good that everyone came to the rescue to prevent the spread. But do you really think this virus is biological? Do you really think that it was not created in the laboratory? I am personally sure that someone is behind this. Duck may have time not only to help those who need it, but also to deprive the right to exist of those who cause these problems. I understand that fires or earthquakes are due to nature, we ourselves are to blame for them, because we brought nature. But in other problems, you can simply not create them, then you will not have to solve it.

I strongly agree with the actions taken by Binance, in order to help victims of Coronavirus they give 1.5 million dollars. this is a positive thing that can be given from cryptocurrency to help those who need and change the way people see cryptocurrency, I hope that the future of cryptocurrency will be brighter.

I agree that CZ is trying to help the victims but to be honest social responsibility is a part of business policy. It will help CZ to increase their brand value in return. If you think from another perspective Lips sealed, it is a marketing process that will create awareness about Binance and as I said increase the brand value. It's a common practice for all businesses. You know Coronavirus is a hot topic now and 1 PR can introduce Binance who never hears of cryptocurency but when later he will think of cryptocurrency, the name Binance will come first in his mind.

Chinese people will have a wonderful opportunity. It will benefit innocent people. However, it could have been better to do something for those who are dying without food.In many countries there are innocent children, I think they should contribute.
This is a good thing, and may have an impact on other coins that will participate to contribute to their sales, chasing the target market is necessary, but acting on behalf of humanity, then market prices will follow.

Of course, this is a very good step from Binance, but the whole story with Coronovirus in China is not very true. I do not question Binance’s desire to help, but on the contrary I welcome it, but there are moments that make me think about all this. For example, why did Binance only now and in this situation announce its help, wouldn’t there have been other events where their help would have been good? Why don't all the major crypto exchanges and blockchain companies allocate part of the money to help all those who need hot spots in the world? I believe that this would be a great step towards the recognition of cryptocurrencies in the world. What do you think?

Binance was doing many social activities prior to this. They were giving food to African kids in school. People may argue this is just another strategy for promotions. But it's ofcourse better than other ways. Binance sending help to mainland China would also be symbolic as the Chinese regulations forced binance out of China.
They also offers help before about Australia Bushfire Donation. They'd been doing many charitable activities that makes them top exchange. It's good that there is an exchange that didn't not just focus in their business but also in helping other in times of calamities and sickness. Many supporters will be happy about them helping.
