Exactly, you understand what's on ground. Binance has been indulging in donations for nations hit by disasters lately, indirectly its great marketing. It's a good thing the donations are giving a good name to crypto 😎, hence we should encourage such moves by crypto projects. Soon other projects especially exchanges will join the movement.

Another great achievement by Binance in trying to prove to the world that crypto (or crypto projects) can also be useful to the world. I can remember when Binance assisted with 1M$ in BNB for Australian Bushfire, now CZ is giving 1.5M$ to help eradicate Coronavirus. Very generous and wise move. I hope other crypto projects learn from Binance.

Coronavirus didn't help BTC pump but I guess this is just how the market goes right now. But I think the marketing works. Of course helping the coronavirus victims will help them and at the same time will spread awareness of binance company. $1.5 million is nothing compare to the amount of profit they do have. I have not heard any exchange that does this kind of marketing but also provide assistance.

This is how Binance stands out amongst it's competitors as it's not about profit everytime as Binance is giving it back to the society and I hope other exchanges follow the same, It's our turn now to stand in support of Binance and try our best to use this platform which gives back to it's people. I just wish this corona virus is eliminated because it's painful to see the misery of the innocents affected by the virus. Crypto community as a whole should similar funding to help the victims as it will help the victims as well as make people understand that crypto community does care for people.

Tron CEO did same thing by using the Dead athlete name to gain awareness, still feels like business to me, anyways, thanks for helping those who caught the deadly virus

Probably, cryptocurrency projects, exchanges and platforms aren't just made for profits of the great mind behind the project, but to willingly support the world in need.

In addition, I am thinking of the possible effects that Coronavirus could have to the market, and now I have the answer, Coronavirus will trigger people to withdraw their funds and to basically help people that badly needs support, and despite of its effect that could possible turn the market down, what is important is to help, and to make the world a better place to live in.

Lastly, Money and investment could be retrieved in the future, but what we could do to help China using cryptocurrency is what will make them understand that cryptocurrency is essential, and has the power to prolong life.

I believe that Binance has a heart and helping the Corona Virus victims is the right thing to do, $1.5 million is just a small amount for a large exchange like Binance so it's nothing compared to the blessings they receive in a form of revenues from its operation. CZ should make it double or more for the sake of helping others.

That is good news and very extraordinary in my opinion, when China was hit by a coronavirus, the Binance exchange donated to the victims and I just saw the news that the victims continued to fall in the city of Wuhan.
Even though this has no impact on the crypto market, we still have to pay attention to our relatives in China because this is a disaster that cannot be prevented, so I can only pray that it can be quickly resolved.

This is a great step from the Binance, this is why Binance is not just an exchange, this is more than that. This is not the first time, Binance helped needy people in 2019 too. I heard more than a hundred people already died by the coronavirus, and the risk is very high! With the 1.5 million USD donation, Binance shows others a great path that crypto is not just a money-making idea, it is to help others the world. And I believe many crypto projects will follow the Binance and they will donate too and the world will realize that crypto is for everyone. Kudos to CZ, a humble and kind guy in the crypto industry!
