Umm hes banned? When did that happen? Why did he get banned?

Read this:
BiPolarBob has been banned for 30 days because he gave away LTC. This is against the "Giveaway threads are not allowed"-rule, which was added because all the Altcoin giveaways where spamming the forum. It sucks, I know, but I totally get the rule and I thought it was fair to let you guys know.

they should of let him go with only a warning, especially since he done so much for the community  Undecided

There is no malware. This program was made for fun and to get maybe some donations but doesn't look like that anyone is interested, especialy now when BiPolarBob is banned. Maybe I can do any other app if someone has job for me as I have enough free time.

Source code or it's wallet stealing malware.

Source code or it's wallet stealing malware.

No exceptions.
Everyone, please listen to this guy. He knows a lot about stealing bitcoin wallets.
Oh my god, you made me burst out laughing at work, now I have to see my boss Tongue
Really, does this have malware?

Ha, yeah... Exactly! Kinda suspicious, if you ask me  Wink Anyways, even the notification bubble on the screenshot still features HTML tags, you may want to remove them, it's not very professional to keep them in the notification text!
It's safe, I checked the source code that he provided. But well, you would have to trust me on that (or check the source code yourself).

The source may be safe (I haven't checked it), but how do we know that the executable doesn't have anything extra in it that's not in the source he released?

You still need to build it from source to be sure, not many people will do that - most will just run the executable he provided.

OH WAIT... I could subscribe to the thread and then get email notifications when someone makes a reply?
By how would you know about the thread in the first place?
This thread...Luck.  Standard BiPolarBob posts....from browsing the Digital Goods section.

However, I am highly against the program posted by amacar, since it's cheating in my opinion.
Thanks for that, I was wondering why I hadn't seen any CRaZy deals recently.

Thought about the intention of this program a little more, and man you guys are greedy. Bob's stuff were dirt cheap (or even free), as if that was not enough, now you must stalk him to take advantage of his generosity.

lol creative little program, although I'm not particularly in favor of something like this.

Has anyone checked the source code, or ran this program in a virtual machine to test it yet?
I would checkout the code if he provided it, but he hasn't. So, I am going to use a .NET decompile tool to check it out.
Oh wait, he has. Let me check it out real quick.

EDIT: It's safe, I just checked. It really doesn't do anything more than what amacar said it does. All good Grin

So hold on... the forum doesn't ban scammers or any one of that nature...
but this guy gave away LTC and it was against a rule so he got banned ?

Can we take from that, scamming is not against the forum rules ?
It really amazes me the decisions made...

Yup, mods don't care about the scammers at all. They won't ban scammers or remove the scammers' posts.
If you get scammed, you are the one to be blamed for being stupid and greedy.

The staff on this site is fucking shit. I've had posts removed before for being called spam, when I was pointing out someone else was scamming. Yet they do not remove the scam posts. That's fucking ridiculous if he really got banned. Mods and admins don't do shit about the hundreds, if not thousands of dollars scammed daily on here, but when someone gives away free money. "OH SHIT WE GOTTA BAN HIM"

If he's not unbanned soon I will leave, and I encourage everyone else to do the same. Also encourage to stop donating, people lose enough money on bitcointalk.
