WOW Bitbay present new mobile wallet and close to show new smart contracts templates

That calendar has taken everything from our last roadmap that was dated Q2 without further specification and put it on march 31st. That is not correct of course. Go to our roadmap for updated info.

Webwallet does not display my balance and when I click history it gives a page error. Thankful.

We are updating from electrumx which was slow to a much newer and faster system. So our web wallet has occasional downtime.

It's been a few weeks since my webwallet is like this. Do you have any predictions of when it will stabilize? thankful
how make it sure this is secured?even mew its been hack you are having a long private key but still hacked actually all my token and coin its gone using mew thats why i just want to know how secured this..

Oh it's secure. A long private key cannot be hacked. The problem is when sites use weak random or encourage weak passwords. We do neither. Passwords must be long (and diverse) and combined with email that makes an extremely strong private key. We also will move that site to github and host there making hacking essentially impossible unless someone visits the wrong address (like what some tricksters did with myetherwallet and slightly changing domain or phishing.)

As for when perhaps the team is better to answer that. We are coding 2 different implementations. One is a custom one loosely based on electrumx and the other was supposedly similar to insight explorer. The moment it's updated I make sure we announce it. For now, it's still usable. We will also increase the number of nodes.

Are there any recent news regarding pegging? When and approx at what price bitbay will be pegged to?

The peg is dynamic so it's not set at a hard price. The point is to prevent price drops. We are almost finished with all the templates so after that the peg will get coded.
Any details about whole pegging process? Where is it written detailly?
It seems game changer for Bitbay and more info would be appreciated, as 5 days before announcement price is already getting sexier.

It's been written all over Bitcointalk, our Slack convos and a few articles. There is a 20 page whitepaper I have that needs another revision. If I publish it, it's far too technical and the competition could use the ideas to launch some ICO nonsense. Not to say I won't release that but more closer to the date.

Essentially users vote when they stake (which our software already supports) for increase or decrease in supply. They can vote via algorithm which will probably
look at volume and peak prices and perhaps a basket (we haven't decided what we want to track but I'm pretty sure I want to follow volume).

When sending a transaction the miners/stakers check to see when it was last sent/received and then decide based on the supply how much needs to be frozen.

A user then fairly gets funds frozen in reserve or released liquid.

Frozen funds can be moved but with a 1 month delay (so they are slowed) giving rise to a more speculative market similar to a bond or to credit or a future.

The frozen funds we might offer higher interest (not decided yet). We will probably give more voting power to liquid funds but there does need to be a balance. Both fund types can stake.

When frozen or liquid funds are sent their properties are maintained.

In the markets the software will automatically choose to send a nice range of liquidity to avoid the recipient getting sub-premium funds. We may or may not have advanced settings for how this is communicated.

And that's pretty much it. It's meant to defend against price drops while keeping a stable price and growth. Our bigger challenge will be finding good exchange relationships since we need to explain to them not to sell frozen coins or they would have an accounting issue upon withdraw. Decentralized exchange is of course ideal for this.
Thanks for your detailed answer, appreciated.
All this pegging process seems interesting, is it shared between devs and decided already?
Also, what`s mainc difference between beta and final versions of pegging?

No it's only known to the few people that have seen the whitepaper. The beta version of the peg is released as a test client where the protocol is enforced only on the software level. Then later it's released as a hard coded set of rules.

come on dudes...no one going to do a whoop whoop, some big movement going on....i've got to say, cheers david by sticking with this, I've been here from the start and nearly threw the towel in when it got to 35 sats and Bobs foot soldiers where doing their thing with their account of what was going on...luckily I listened to cryptohunter back then and bought some more....or maybe not, as i had my finger poised over syscoin, when it was 90 sats at the time but instead bought more bays..but i bought these magic beans..and i'll see where it takes me..oh..did someone post a comment about making a 3d printer..I usually come here pissed..not sure if it was a dream or true..if its true re-post it..as i want to 3d build a massive lamp...cheers

3d printing is the future of decentralization. Actually I have a personal research project for off-grid with a big spreadsheet I occasionally work on to demystify off the research.

And yeah Bob sucks. It's a good thing that some of the investors stayed when that happened. It's pretty epic how far this project has come since then.

Is the Qt Version prone to going off on its own forks quite a bit?

I notice after a time the wallet seems to go off on its own chain and is not in sync with chainz block and the staking goes wild like staking several times a minute?

what is causing this?

Is this the newest version of the QT? How many nodes are you connected to? Perhaps some users are staking from multiple computers with the same addresses causing some orphans. You can see the amount of orphans here:
