I seriously hope we can avoid going out of the top 200. Seem unthinkable we are not in the top 50 really even now.

This influx of total shit ICO;s has drained the market of btc

Shame such a large % of new investors are so clueless and getting financially drained by projects that long term are going nowhere.

The thing is whilst these ICO's can generate huge fake caps and keep leapfrogging bay and the new investors see large caps as a reason to invest then there is essentially no limit to the ranking drop bay can suffer here.

We can only pray the dumb money is drained to the smarter hands sooner than later that will obviously either cash out to fiat or re invest in the real projects that will have good long term prospects.

And that these ico dreams and talk schemes implode to zero asap ... although they will be cashing out the " development funding" for some time yet so have to string these poor fools on for a little longer.

The release in the middle of this month is a new GUI -not a preview. But there will be more changes in the future. A GUI is never done once and for all.

The reason not to release all in one big update is complexity. Keeping it as seperate releases makes it easier to manage the workflow. There is also the matter of delivering on deadline. You might have noticed that we always deliver on time in accordance with our roadmap. By making the releases more complex, we put that in jeopardy because people almost always deliver last minute internally (working on that). So if there is a last minute issue the night before release, it might be harder to solve in time when it is more complex.

Good update. I have a question for the GUI release. Is the release in the middle of this month a preview of the new GUI? Or will it be fully integrated from this point on. I'm wondering b/c why update a new version of the client with new BST templates and then have to update again later this month instead of rolling out all at once in big update.

Very nice to see progress being made. The price on this coin reacts very well with the market, when the market is optmistic this coin gain value very fast,
the price is a little down now, from the all time highs, but it´s maintaning a good price, not dumped like other coins

Drops are to be expected with any coin. Bitpbay has always had these drops and much more significant ones in it's history. It's a shame that this sub forum has gone haywire with spam because this is being drowned out by the rest of the garbage posted here.

Besides icos only bring in people looking to earn a quick buck and will cause much stability issues which could cause the project to lose it's value that it's worked so hard to get.

Yeah however consider that the SEC can prosecute cases even years after they started even if it's unfair and lately it seems America has no respect for their own constitutions, statute of limitations or international law. It should be that they cannot apply regulation in retrograde but we are seeing them try it. So it's a double edged sword. We are here now and just simply make the best decisions with the resources we have.

I think it is a matter of structure. Sure, mania comes and goes; however a properly structured ICO or makeover or what have you "could" advantage this great project. The issue isn't money; nor the validity of the project and current team. The issue is assuring a competitive edge in a rapidly changing market landscape. AND readying for an eventual market shakeout that will leave "pointless-coins" in the trash heap. My thought was to assure this project is in the few survivors of the next "dotcom" type market shakeout that inevitably happens with each type of revolutionary growth explosion such as crypto.

It's a great idea the only issue is a lot of liability is taken which might not be necessary to succeed. These things are usually justified in hindsight. Perhaps now there is too many regulatory boards looking at ICO fundraising. However this option will always be available to us in the future in one way or another.

Sometimes when staking someone else wins at the same time and thus they end getting the block instead. It doesn't always happen but sometimes due to the competitive nature of staking.
