I think I have a smaller wallet than most users, since I'm new to the bitcoin scene. Can you tell us what the Minimum bet is?

The minimum bet is 0.01 BTC.

Good luck betting!

I'm a big fan of the site and love all of the rapid upgrades and new features.  Got some feature requests of my own-

  • make the home team more clear- standard convention is away @ home, but you guys flip it and say "vs."
  • add alternate run lines to the new MLB run line drop down menu- offer the full range from -2.5 to +2.5 for each side
  • Futures- playoff series prices (better hurry for NBA!) and odds to win conference, championship, etc, and preseason win totals/conference/championship odds
  • Parlays, Teasers
  • Is it possible to make the prices on the page automatically update so I don't get rejected due to line moves and have to refresh and key in the bet again?

Lots of great suggestions! I'm not sure how soon we will be able to do all of this, but I promise we are working to implement some of these ideas very soon!

Please keep the suggestions coming, and we're glad you're loving BitBook!

Ok, since you asked....1st half bets, halftime bets, quarter bets, mlb first 5 innings bets, politics bets, team props, player props...basically, just be pinnacle circa 2006 before they left the US Smiley

I only just now noticed the adjusted spreads and adjusted o/u. That is an excellent feature addition to the site. I'm quite pleased to see that you guys have that now. Keep up the good work!

What is your grading policy for a MLB game that is rained out? I would assume that if the game is called final after 6 innings or whatever the MLB requirement is to make a game official, that would be how it is graded. Am I correct on that? Postponement obviously should be graded a PUSH or NO ACTION.

We adhere to the betting rules from Pinnacle Sports: http://www.pinnaclesports.com/help/betting-rules

There is a lot of detail on their site, but basically it works like this:

  • If a game is rained out (or otherwise is not finished on the scheduled date) before 5 full innings have been played it is a push
  • If a game goes 5 full innings then is rained out spread and ML wagers are graded based on the score at the end of the last full inning, but Over Under bets are a push
  • If a game is rained out (or otherwise is not finished on the scheduled date) after 4.5 innings and the home team is winning it is scored for spread and ML

That's the basic gist, but there is more detail at the provided link.

Let us know if you have any more questions!

Woah the new feature giving multiple choices for point spreads and over/unders is cool!

You beat us to announcing it!

As requested, we have added variable spreads and over/unders.

Good luck betting!

Could you please make the max "TO WIN" be 10 BTC for major events?...like MLB games moneylines. Say -170 for example, max wager would be 17BTC ( since that would be to win 10 BTC ).

That makes a ton of sense, but right now we'd like to hold the max bet at 10 BTC. We're working hard to raise the limits further as soon as possible. When we do, your suggestion could make a lot of sense for us!

Can you list all the requirements of a 10BTC bet?  I was limited yesterday on a straight bet for NHL Vancouver.  Thanks!

Love your book!

We've pushed some code to update our max bet quicker. The Vancouver ML is now accepting bets up to 10 BTC (and the odds are even better than before!) If you bet 4 earlier, then you can put down an additional 6 now!

Can you make the Penguins ML tomorrow max bet 10BTC?  Thanks!!!

We'll raise it gradually. You can get 4 down now, and if you check back closer to the start tomorrow you should be able to get the rest in!
