I agree. My computer has been doing the same thing for over a year now. Unfortunately, I have two options, either I won't get a new one, or I will get a horrible one. This is why I try to avoid it as much as I can, since I do not want to get a horrible one. Due to the inflation in all nations, computer prices got spiked up a lot in my nation, plus they put a whole new tax on it as well to make some money to the government, and consider it "luxury" which we all know is a lie, computer is not a luxury.

Right now, even while doing a slot game, or any game really, even a text based game, if my pc is on for many hours, it gets hot and I have to turn it off for like half an hour, and then open it back up again.

Chances are he will buy a laptop with high specs because his games are really lucky, but anyway I'm happy if @Betwrong is able to produce a gaming laptop from his games so far. Grin

Old laptops already need a long break because this will often die if it continues to be turned on, but if it can still be relied on for a few hours to play slots, it's still useful.

I bet you the guys lives in Asia. Laptops have a short lifespan here, very hot very humid and the fans get overworked. Number 1 laptop cause of failure is overheating, normally first because the dust clogs, and then second the fans stop working.

The Asian countries have extreme temperatures and summers breezes can take the temperature above 50°C also so you see the old laptop could not support it and have only short span of running while the fan stops and they heat up.So it could be case but sometimes with over playing also they heat up so to avoid any problem he might have stopped playing not a big deal.

The best solution for that is to clean the part of the internal fan well, or in the best case change the fans, although I'm inclined because maybe the PC is a bit old and that's why it turns off.
