Nothing is impossible as in 2016 the bitcoin price was taking tough time to cross $1000 price and that time when someone predicted that in 2017 bitcoin price will cross $10000 and everyone was making joke but when the price started to move above $10000 every one were feeling sad.

There's another person that predicted bitcoin to hit $1,000,000 except John McAfee.

It is the IBM Blockchain head: IBM Blockchain Head: Bitcoin (BTC) Could See $5,000 By 2019’s End, But $1M Eventually

Halving will happen next year but it ain't enough for bitcoin to reach $1M by that time. We're still far from reaching $1M even by just considering the situation today.

The CEO of Xapo also predicted this price: https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-will-be-worth-1-mln-in-10-years-swiss-based-bitcoin-wallet-ceo

People are free to express their opinions, whether bitcoin touches $ 1,000,000 by the end of 2020, or whatever it is, right. Here we learn to keep abreast of the market flow with good expectations and certainly for predictions we cannot fully trust, but learn what makes it increase.

The problem of how much bitcoin prices in 2020 no one knows, can only make predictions. One million for one bitcoin sounds very fun, but most likely in 2020 the bitcoin will not reach the price of one million.

People have to think about what makes a coin go up. It goes up when money is pouring in. When people are buying and buying and buying. We saw it during the bull run in 2017. That was huge. Yet it went "only" to about 20K$. To go to 1 million, you'd need billionaires investing massively in BTC. Since they're already billionaires, why would they risk it ?

Well, after the bull run there are not other people that will fall for this FOMO and buy and buy as it happened in 2017. Now they are more cautious and afraid that the same thing is going to happen with the Bull and the bear run right after. The best way is to keep bringing more people and get them involved in the ecosystem so as to increase the mass adoption.

As for me, the solution to that mate was to grab that best opportunity of securing a good profit once you'll able to see market rise is going to happen. Don't wait that your previous downfall will occur again, avoiding frustrations is the best options to do now. Act aggressively and don't be greedy, because if you have that attitude; long terms waiting is again to commence.

We've already had at least four dramatic bull markets in bitcoin history, and it certainly didn't scare traders off each time. On the contrary, the dramatic and rapid increase in bitcoin price has attracted more investors each time. When the next rally comes around (if indeed, it happens at all) things will get crazy, guaranteed.

Bitcoin getting to $1,000,000 in 2020 is possible but I don't think it can happen in that way.  Bitcoin is currently below $4000 and 2020 is just some few months from now.  If we are going to see bitcoin above  $20,000  that was the highest place it ever go to it might not be this year and I think even if about 10 country adopted bitcoin today it will be difficult for it to get to $1,000,000 before end of 2020!

BITCOIN 1 MILLION in the end 2020?

I hard to believe we will see new ATH of $20k before the end of 2020. 1 million Bitcoin might happen at the end of next decade.
I agree with your opinion regarding unrealistic predictions about BTC price. I am not sure my age will be enough to see 1$ per satoshi in future. I can predict 50k$ after 3 years as a realistic investor.

This got me cracked up, I don't think the price of bitcoin can grow to as high as $1 million in just 1 year, that will make me a bloody billionaire, lol.

Though this can only happen in our dreams in 2020, I can say that we should be seeing a rate of $100,000 per btc during the fourth quarter of 2020 which might still dip with over 50% loss when everyone begins to take out profit. Based on my speculations, I think it might take up to 5 years before we can get to the rate of $1 million, then bitcoin would be mainstream.

Bitcoin is becoming more popular because of social media, that is why it may happen in the near future because a lot of people may have interest to invest their money in cryptocurrency for them to earn more money. But i think for bitcoin to increase its price more faster is by unbanning it in other countries because we lost a lot of investors since china and others banned bitcoin.
It is correct, but we must not forget the approval of the ETFs, BAKKT, which will have its impact on the market, also the integration of Samsung and the currency that Facebook will bring, which pushes people to enter the world of bitcoin little by little, which indicates that good results can be presented in the long term.

Well, I'll say just two things here.

One, there actually are plenty of billionaires investing in crypto. Not necessarily in the currency itself, but there are huge sums of capital going into projects related to the crypto market. Because savvy investors realize that blockchain technology has tremendous potential, and bitcoin growth has gone hand-in-hand with that growth. There is no reason at present to believe that it will not continue to be the case for several years to come.

And with each bullish cycle, we see millions of new accounts created across exchanges. The current infrastructure is struggling majorly to keep up, hence why there is still so much investment flooding into this market. So factor this in with the block reward being reduced to 6.25 next year, and there is a recipe for tremendous growth. For anyone who understands this market, I think you'd be crazy NOT to believe that we're headed for $1 million a coin and more.

Well, I'm not one of those who follow or pay attention to the predictions, although it would be fascinating to see the price of Bitcoin in $ 1M, for now I'm just a simple speculator, and as I've seen the market and its movements, Bitcoin is in a phase that can take a long time accumulating, I do not say that it is not possible, volatility can justify that price, but really by 2020 I see it very soon to reach such a high price.

With the current US president you might get the US dollar to inflate by 100% allowing Bitcoin to become $1M which would roughly be €100k  Wink

Bitcoin to reach one million by 2020 is really a hard thing, compared to the present value of bitcoin it needs to travel long to reach the specific value. With bitcoin anything is possible, still this prediction seems to be beyond the growth.

I would categorize it as pure speculation only. The prediction is too high in my opinion. But it is free to speculate so anyone can say anything anyway.  Tongue
Everyone is free to speculate and predict on where the market is going but to the point that your prediction goes on high. That's something questionable although he gave some words on why it will be possible to reach that out by next year. I'm bullish and positive for bitcoin but not up to this point, we can be at $1,000,000 in the future but not too early as next year. If this goes to reality, everyone who holds at least 1 bitcoin will celebrate but for now, I won't believe.

It not true to hitted the value of $1,000,000 because that is huge value for each one bitcoin and I think people are think also it is not a good IDEA that amount because it is far from the reality . But if the prediction is in real life it is good to see but I don't know why other people predicted to much..

It is a huge value, but did anyone in 2010 or even in 2014 think that the BTC price will reach $20k?! It seems to me that if there was such a person, he did not even want to talking about it loudly. In my opinion, $1M is possible, if it fails in 2020, almost certainly within 5 years.
