You guys are crazy.  As sources have clearly demonstrated over the past few days, bitcoin is done.  It's reached its maximum usefulness and user base last year.  2014 is the year of the slide to complete obscurity and failure.  The confirmed bad news of the past few days has made this clear.  Get out while you can.  Bitcoin will never see new highs again, this is confirmed by sources close to some government officials in a few countries.  Just google it.  Sources are in Chinese, of course, for anyone to read and verify.

Best bear ever.   proudhon is back on the bear train!

Depeding on the news I would guess it will break the 2000$ in 2-6 weeks. I think it will be a rally and when 1200$ is broken I think it will only take 2-3 days max.

Hilarious. Depending on what news exactly?

The first jump will come in March-April.  That's when many Americans get large tax rebates, most of which are $5000-$10000 or more.  This money is typically not budgeted so it's disposable income that people use for vacations or even investments like bitcoin.

Damn!  Where are these tax rebates at?  I don't think a lot of people that actually invest their money will be seeing $5-10k tax returns.  Most of us end up having to pay or receive very little.

But, yeah, if I was a single mother of three making $29k/yr I might see a return of over $5000.

Many experts in finance say there will be two jumps. One in June-July and the second one later in Fall 2014, similar to what happened a few weeks ago. So basically every half a year it jumps.

Just like we saw a run-up last March-April, expect another one this year.

I agree with this. I think we will see some big news soon:)
And when it hits a certain price (maybe 1200$ as you say), then the price will shoot up.

If you live in China you are probably correct. For the rest of the modern world it's FUD.
