yes i do believe that it can actually happen and that is the reason why i am still holding my coins today and not selling it because investors will soon hoard a huge amount of coins and the price will pump up again.

You should be holding your bitcoin because it is the best coin we have and the potential profits in the long term are great, if you are holding with the hope you will get those kind of benefits for the short term then you are going to be disappointed and what are you going to do when that happens? The most likely thing is that you will panic and sell for a loss.

But on a more serious note, it's hard to say what BTC will be at the end of the year but as I mentioned in another thread, I think the regulation being put in place by a number of countries can only help crypto in the long run, so as always, it's a case of hodling

It is always going to be hard to say as there is really no doubt about that, but one thing I am sure of is that there is a possibility it could happen and at least it is realistic. We may end up not seeing such a move, we may end up seeing it, but what matters is knowing that we are in for a pretty good ride in the long run and it is not really about the short term. I believe even if we do not see much this year, next year/2020 should be a glorious one.

No I don’t believe it. It is just a joke and there is no sign of it because the price is below $7000 today and $20k is very far. Almost half year has gone and there is long way to go to reach to $20000. How is it possible to cover the distance of $13-14 thousands in six months? I also think that the price will grow even more than $20k but not in this year.

are you sure? Or it is just a blind faith in crypto world? For me bitcoin will recover but i do not have the confidence to believe that bitcoin will hit that price before the end of 2018.

Bitcoin will reach $20000 by the end of 2018, it is possible. Last year by the end of december only the price was faced tremendous growth. First half it faced lot of downs only second half the price was started little bit. Likewise this year also happens. So there is a more chance for bitcoin to reach this price.

Yes this is very possible and even can surpass the 20k of last years highest price history of bitcoin. With all the negativity being spread against bitcoin i have strong believe in it because i have seen how it change many lives to become more comfortable and financially stable way of life.

How i wish, but it could be hard for me to believe that bitcoin can reach $20,000 dollars again in this year. But i still believe on bitcoins ability to reach this price again, not only this year but maybe in the next few years.

Bitcoin price is very unpredictable so we cannot surely say that it will reach the $20,000 mark by the end of 2018.Bitcoin is going through tough times right now because regular drops are being noticed in it's price.No doubt it has the potential to recuperate from these drops but we can't predict the exact time it will take to bounce back to a new all time high value. Last year we noticed that the price was quite low in the middle of the year but by the end it touched the $19,000 mark.So if we consider that the same circumstances are going to repeat then it can surely reach $20,000 mark by the end of this year.But this is just a prediction.No one can surely give any statement regarding the future of Bitcoin.

Well, I think I have a slightly different view on those two points you have brought up. I mean, $18,000 by end of the year is unlikely IMO, but it is still a possibility. Here are my responses to some of the points you raised.

Banks have just blocked credit card purchases of crypto. This is perfectly reasonable. Just like how you can't buy stock with credit cards. Banks will not outright block crypto, and if they do, the free market will pick the banks that don't block it. The price of Bitcoin few months ago got stable and this is due to a sort of equilibrium in the market as the rate of demand when increased the same time it decreased the same and formed equilibrium so the stability occurred. Now the price has dropped at 6.2k dollar and this price is highly achievable with low charges.

As long as the Bitcoin is responding people will not going to stop it demanding, the present conditions are situational and we need to wait some more time like we did and seen recoveries in the past.

The Bitcoin is not a currency of ignorance and that is why some countries realized that it is necessary for their economies and that is why the developed countries are also using it. Recently Germany also announced that we recognized the Bitcoin which is necessary for our country and is a legit one that is why we are choosing it and adopting it. Many countries are also thinking about it after this adoption and want to boost up their economies.

The price I son the way down and everybody say something unbelievable about the near future price of bitcoin. If it reached to $10000 till the end of this year it will be enough and the investors will be happy because about $3000 growth is also very good in six months. The price is now normal and there are no more unnatural pumps in the price.

Yes hard to predict but their is big possibility for $20k to hit. This is most people wants a great believe that bitcoin will rise again. I am also hoping indeed for bitcoin to increase.

Do not count on that or you are going to lose money because of this, I know how people are feeling because I feel the same the price of bitcoin right now is disappointing but there is nothing to do except to wait until things improve and to set those kind of limits when it comes to the time you will give to bitcoin to recover will be a mistake since it is likely you will get even more desperate when your prediction does not come true.

A number of investors predict that BTC will be worth $ 25,000 or more by the end of the year. Personally, I think that a new boom may occur at the end of 2018, and the bitcoin might approach the $ 20k value.
But what will be the reality will show us time and we know well that cryptocurrencies can quite surprise.

I believe as well, the market price today is just $6k dollars and it only means that most of the people who are interested on bitcoins will invest a huge amount so keep on holding your coins because sooner, the price will go back to normal.

I’m with you on being so optimistic in prices and that’s what this community needed.. Possibilities are in our doorstep and every crypto believers should have this attitude that your showing to make this happen,, but sadly the truth is that we’re not united as one.. Because of selfishness and greediness we tend to priorities our profit than making bitcoin reaching a new highs..

Yes, I believe bitcoin still has an opportunity to increase to 20k by the end of 2018. All could happen, it could be between August to the end of the year bitcoin increased rapidly and reached the price of 20k.

The value of Bitcoin in the current time is 7.2k dollar which was on a constant increase few days ago but today that constant increase finished. Few days ago its value was 7.2k dollar and then 7.4k dollar and right after that the value reached at 7.7k dollar but fell down after that constant increase.

The Bitcoin fall is due to the decrease in demand and now as the value is low so more people will be attracting by this market and will help in increasing the future value.

i like with your optimistic feelings bung. you look very excited to welcome bitcoin back again pick up price of $ 20,000 like last year. but, I think this year we will be quite difficult to pick up or move back on. bear market trends still overshadow the speed of prices, it seems this shadow will continue to exist until the bull run market comes. the price is now down again below $ 7000. essentially this year the market will find it difficult to handle the price issue. $ 20,000 could be achieved this year if the market continues to pump prices and good news keeps coming to bitcoin.
