But I do not think we will reach the price of more than $ 18,000 by the end of this year and my reasons are only two:

1 - The pressure of governments and lack of clear laws on crypto
2 - Banks that are intensifying their pursuit against bitcoin

The Bitcoin is not a currency of ignorance and that is why some countries realized that it is necessary for their economies and that is why the developed countries are also using it. Recently Germany also announced that we recognized the Bitcoin which is necessary for our country and is a legit one that is why we are choosing it and adopting it. Many countries are also thinking about it after this adoption and want to boost up their economies.

But on a more serious note, it's hard to say what BTC will be at the end of the year but as I mentioned in another thread, I think the regulation being put in place by a number of countries can only help crypto in the long run, so as always, it's a case of hodling

It is always going to be hard to say as there is really no doubt about that, but one thing I am sure of is that there is a possibility it could happen and at least it is realistic. We may end up not seeing such a move, we may end up seeing it, but what matters is knowing that we are in for a pretty good ride in the long run and it is not really about the short term. I believe even if we do not see much this year, next year/2020 should be a glorious one.

very good optimism I do not know you are a trader or an investor but optimistic you can trigger the users to use bitcoin more so that the price of the year now can be achieved and if not you do not be discouraged because one day harag will rise.

In comparison with other rated currencies which come after Bitcoin on 2nd and 3rd places and so on; indicates that the Bitcoin is the most profitable and benefited currency which is also known for its fast transaction pr frictionless transaction. We can not underestimate the Bitcoin and its uses in our daily life. In order to look into our lives processes we need the Bitcoin as main requirement.

Well, I think I have a slightly different view on those two points you have brought up. I mean, $18,000 by end of the year is unlikely IMO, but it is still a possibility. Here are my responses to some of the points you raised.

There currently aren't clear laws on crypto but that has always been true since Bitcoins inception in 2009. If anything, in the near future these laws on crypto will become clearer than they have ever been. This is good, more regulation legitimizes Bitcoin.

Banks have just blocked credit card purchases of crypto. This is perfectly reasonable. Just like how you can't buy stock with credit cards. Banks will not outright block crypto, and if they do, the free market will pick the banks that don't block it. If a bank blocks anyone from buying crypto, this won't have a long-term negative effect.

While I personally do think $18,000 at end of the year is unlikely, it is definitely still possible and not completely ruled out. I have been wrong in the past, and no one really can accurately speculate. it is all just a guessing game, no one knows anything.

Great belief for bitcoin man,this is what we need now because many has trapped ATH on december and until now waiting for the perfect growth that always been postponed by the manipulators for how many attempts of breaking $10,000 we received failure thats why now i hope before the year end we will see a hype that no one ever seen in this community

I believe in crypto but the price you've set is I think still impossible to happen. Yes bitcoin can reach $20K but I think not this time, not this year. Last year it is almost 20k but it did not happened. What more in this year ? Bitcoin is down haft from its price last year and as you can see the chart is more on downfall. Compare to last year it is in different direction.

Well, keep having that spirit as it is good to be optimistic anyway.
It does not sound like something that is not achievable anyway as there is a lot that should be expected could happen in any case when it comes to moment like this for bitcoin.

We have had a huge downtrend, there is still the feeling we are not done yet, while looking at the technical on the charts and hopefully we will get to see how things end up turning out in coming days but end of 2018 I believe as well should get to that point.

Actually it might happen but most of the crypto analyst are expecting for the price of bitcoins to reach $50k dollars so the best thing to do today is just hold your coins and wait for the highest price to come out before selling all the coins you are holding.

I think 50k sounds a bit far-fetched. To reach that mark we're going to need a major bull run this year, even bigger than the one we experienced last year, and it's very unlikely to happen, mainly because the hype around bitcoin hype has died down. Sure, we can still reach 20k, or even 30k if there's something that can trigger a new bull run, but I don't think it's going to take us to 50k. We'll eventually get there in the long-term (2-3 years maybe), but this year...I don't think so.

Right, it is hot digital currency online so their is really possible to hit $20k end of this year. Massive adaptions could happen this year that price can boom in the market. We can hold and invest more in btc.

I love your enthusiasm. But sometimes its better to put too much expectations so that you will not get disappointed at the end. Of course we love to see bitcoin going to test new all-time-high again. People will go crazy about it and everyone doesn't want to miss the boat and jumping on board. But last year was very different, There are a lot of positive news that comes along like every month, and if ever there's something that will impact the market on the bad side, bitcoin quickly recovered and even goes further than its previous high. With that said, I wouldn't say that we can't reach $20,000 again, but there are a lot of challenges as compare to last year. Its going to be a big struggle moving forward and I'm hoping for the best. At least getting to 5 digit mark will be the first hurdle that we need to overcome and let's see how everything pans out.

It will definitely going to reach $20,000 before December this year. I have find out that we have had bad news and fundamentals issues this year more than last year and any positive news from the cryptocurrencies will affect bitcoin positively and push the price upwards. We should expect pumping any moment good news hit the market.

It will certainly. Hope the value should start growing by end of this month. This is what happened last year. Few big events are held and this would enhance the value grow in the market. $20k will be hit by end of November and will have $35k cross by December 2018. Hope the upcoming even World cup held in Russia should influence the price and bitcoin should at least reach $20k by end of September 2018.
