Bitcoin spreading across all sectors of the economy is no longer a shocking news to me as I continue to see different sectors of the economy adopting its usage every now and then. Just recently J.P Morgan talked about coming out with their own cryptocurrency JPM. I have also heard rumours of samsung and facebook trying to bring out theirs too (though not yet confirmed). The automotive industry is a big industry and I knew it won't take long before they adopt the use of bitcoin. I am glad such thing is happening which is good for the bitcoin community. It goes to show bitcoin growth and adoption is on the increase. More to come sooner than later.

Agreed just imagine how much bitcoin trading volume, car dealership transactions will add to the Bitcoin chart. Cars are not cheap, also another thing to keep in mind is big companies are trusting Bitcoin for large transactions. It takes a lot of trust in the bitcoin network to consider selling a car for bitcoin. This is great news that companies are willing to trust bitcoin for large transactions, keep in mind these are some big dealerships and many of them are when licensed by major manufacturers. Everyonr should also understand, the manufacturers dont need to accept bitcoin. The dealerships is where the cars are sold. No one goes to a factory to buy a car. They go to their local car dealership.

Agree, bitcoin adoption will help it to be more acceptable for othet countries to be known... Bitcoin transactions are more faster than the ordinary one... It is also easy to work out.. This is really a good news.. Having an industry that adopts bitcoin transactions.. Hoefully more merchants will use bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies for future use...

As i remember it right,there’s one ICO in 2017 that has been subjective just for automotive and car pooling i dont remember the exact project

Buying cars can only be done by rich people at this moment or those who have saved their money for a long time. I'm thinking that these car buyers who are using Bitcoins are those investors also in crypto. Anyway, this small steps are helping Bitcoin and crypto in general into mass adoption. I wish more and more establishments and companies will accept crypto too.

Such a good initiative. This is the right time to utilize Bitcoin in various platforms. But there's something very complicated because bitcoin is not a stable currency it always be in fluctuating situation, then its mean that the price of product which integrated with bitcoin will depend on the BTC price ?

Only rich people will pay in this payment method, most of the people buying cars nowadays are undergoing through banks under loan payments. So it's a nice addition but I doubt that most of the people holding cryptocurrencies will buy cars with their crypto right now. What I would like to see instead is for the car parts aftermarket to accept cryptocurrencies as well as people would likely accept the prices in crypto for the car parts.

the automotive industry really needs payment instruments that are global in nature, so adopting the bitcoin currency as a payment tool is the right choice. if an industry wants to keep abreast of technological developments from supply devices, it must be willing to open opportunities for payment methods to use crypto currencies. It is always a positive thing to see that merchants are accepting bitcoin as well as other coins for transaction and the automotive industry is taking full advantage to attract crypto investors to get the deal done and it is a good move by them and now majority of the major merchants in US are accepting bitcoin and hopefully we will see that globally, looks like we have to push Jeff Bezos so that amazon starts accepting bitcoin. Cheesy

with their market spreading throughout the world it will be a major outbreak if they accepts bitcoin.

Just so that people have an idea about this massive adoption, the news mentioned 20 dealerships that are accepting BTC in the US. Impressive, if you don't count the fact that there are (according to NADA) 16 000 franchised and 20 000 independent dealerships in the US.
That means less than 0.05% of the dealerships are accepting cryptos.
And probably 1% of the cars they sell are for cryptos.

The bright side....we have a lot of growth to look for Cheesy

Nice information it a great news to see that bitcoin is being adopted by automotive shops for payments on cars and seeing lots of car dealers accepting bitcoin as a means of payments is a great deal for bitcoin and the entire cryptocurrency world this shows that more and more awareness is spreading about bitcoin.
