bitcoin has afftected my life a lot not only positively but also negetively.thats because there was a time when i use to walk run and even jump like a monkey with friends and all the outdoor stuffs but after getting involve in this bitcoin thing i am spending most of my time either coding or learning new programming languages or earnin btcs for somewhere . should i lower spending my time in internet or not and is there anyone who is facing this type of addiction here

Me too... Bitcoin has made me addicted to gambling because it is so easy to gamble online with BTC compared to going to Vegas and gamble physically.

But now I learned to control myself Smiley
Yea, there are just waay too many options to gamble your bitcoins, it's a lucrative market. I used to get way carried away when gambling, but I don't do it anymore either. The house always wins.

We experienced this addiction before, so i feel what you talk about, and i advice you to spend more time with your family, friends and relatives , and consume limited time online but try to kindly invest this time to work with bitcoin's opportunities

Ugh.  Yeah, you can do what you want with your own life, but my advice would be to take a break from it for some of the day.  It's good to be online, earning money and whatnot, but not at the expense of normal life stuff--especially if you already have a job.  Don't miss out on living!  Bitcoin isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Yeah, I'm having that type of addiction too.
The different is, I've experienced it since I did not know bitcoin.

Bitcoin is money. Different version of standard FIAT it, with slightly changed rules, fully digital but nonetheless money. I am addicted to money - like everyone, simply because you can't live without it.

what you said is correct, but money fully cannot be everything in life, their are family, friends with whom you have to spend some time, it happens always when a new thing comes in life we get attached to it, but after some time, when we realise the problem and change the system and balance it. then it wont affects the life.

Money is definitely not everything in life but it is life today. Without money, we can't even get water to drink. But with bitcoins, it is totally different as it's a virtual currency that is still new and developing. The price is higher than any physical currency and if we check, there are many ways to earn bitcoins unlike fiat cash when it comes to online jobs.

@OP: You are more addicted to the internet rather than bitcoins. Tongue

My life too has been affected as when I joined this forum, I was barely interested in bitcoins as there weren't many ways to earn it. Now, there are so many methods and ways to earn this currency and the price is so high that many people are asking me about bitcoins while two years back they dint bother about it. I still am learning about this currency and there are still many things I need to know.

If you are addicted to something, you should try to find a balance between them. Having a social life is just as important as making money is. If your life only revolves around money, your life is worth nothing but money. All you leave behind is money nothing more, you gotta find a way to balance things in your life.

Well sometimes is not that bad. Andreas has said numerous times in his speeches that when he first found out about Bitcoin he became obsessed and would read about it 20 hours a day. Thanks to this he became an expert and now he is making a living off talking about it worldwide. Sometimes obsession pays off, of course it can turn out badly so have some perspective.

In 2013 and the beginning of 2014 there was a period where I was obsessed with day trading. I barely came outside or had contact with people at that time. Purely because I was staring all day at the price tickers hoping to profit from the price going up a few bucks. I am glad I stopped with day trading each day. It's a waste of time if you also try to make some bucks on days with low volume. Now I only do it on days with high volume and where there are some decent price swings. It gives me a much better feeling and I have time for other things in life. Life is more than only Bitcoin and earning money Wink

Are there automated systems out there to do trading?

Having an addiction is never good, if you know you got one, you can do something about it and change it. Go out some more and enjoy your social life.
What's money worth when you got nobody around? Money is worth nothing if you don't have people to share it with.

Very sinsible post! Money may seem like the best thing you can get right now, but in 10 years you will regret not spending more time with your friends outside. There comes a point that you have other stuff to do (job, kids, household, etc.) that you can't spend your time as you would like anymore.

Enjoy it while it lasts, that one hour your miss in front of your pc is not going to hurt your that badly.

You must change your behavior as soon as it could be possible independently of your age. If your are young and spend all your time in front of an computer this is a very wrong behavior. You need to go out and to stay with your friend and find a girlfriend which probably can be even your future wife (one of those for sure). So you must go out not only to not be in front of a computer all the day because this can damage you (read in internet to man things about this kind of behavior), but even because, in your age there are to many other important things to do which cannot be made by any kind of computer if not made by you in this age. For example if you cannot find a wife most of your life will be a hell.

If your are older and have family is the same thing. The damage staying all the day in front of a compute can be even more dangerous because of your age. Not only this. Again everyone has need even to do a familiar life. So we are at the same situation like above. Less time in computer and more time with your family.

This doesn't mean that you must leave the computer. If you do so this will be another big error. If you are attracted by it and find yourself well doing work regarding it you must cultivate further this attitude. But reducing the time in front of it. There must be found always the time for the computer, for the friends, for your girlfriend/wife and for your family. The day has 24 hours. Are even more to find the needed time to spent with all the above.
