I'm not sure how coding and learning new programming languages is "negative" , Maybe you simply discovered what is really interesting for you and I can't link them to bitcoin as-well unless you started to see the technical stuff then headed to programming . Either way , you control your life and you can do whatever you want , programming and coding is fun and cool and can make you shitload of money but you will get screwed if you don't come from your room from time to time .

Bitcoin have some effect on my life but not to much now.
I'm trying to ear or buy bitcoin as much as I can now with the hope that in the future it's value will increase again.
Also, my hope is that soon bitcoin will become mainstream.
If this happen, may life will be really affected a lot.

It sounds more like you're having a hard time trying to balance your time. Balancing your time between making and earning bitcoin as well as spending time outside or with family and friends is easier to once you start making plans. You could try to make plans with your friends and family over a weekend and do bitcoin during the week.
That's the way I'm doing it as well and it works out fine. I make plans ahead of time to spend some quality time with family and friends, it doesn't always have to be 1 whole day.
Just a couple of hours of dinner or lunch will do you some good. Don't close yourself off from the world man, that's when it gets unhealthy.

Bitcoin didn't affect your life the way you describe it; it's you who made decision to dedicate majority of your time stuck to technology.
There is a fine line of balance, even for things that bring you profit and knowledge, and you should never devote that much time to a single project, hobby or business.

cheers

Same with me like i am also spending most of my time on internet. As i am quite free these days, completed exams, campus is closed etc. I am on internet But not only due to bitcoin but also learning some of the programing languages.

But sitting online, earning bitcoin and converting them to local currency from same chair is quite interesting for me.
that single chain is getting intresting everyday everysec its like a bank of knowledge where we can learn learn and learn how much we want no limits
Just like with everything in life, there is too much of a good thing with Bitcoin as well and I think I am experiencing the same thing as you are OP! I can't get my head out of this Bitcoin world, but literally!

And my wife has been pressing me a lot lately to chill out a bit and to be honest, I am realizing that this will be necessary thing to do!
yes you should spend some time and some bitcoins on her she will know that you care about her

I think as you get older you find in-door activities more interesting than being out with friends spending money on expensive clubbing or whatnot. Sometimes in friday night I feel like I would rather be here learning about stuff or watching an interesting Bitcoin related lecture than going out to be honest.

Yes bitcoins have affected my life just in a good way.
With bitcoin I have learn how the economy works in the world and how to trade an all that stuff. Bitcoin also made my life more easy than with fiat like sending money to other country.

Bitcoin has an obvious effect in my life but it's not to the point where I'm staying behind a computer all day. It's just not healthy to sit around all day. If you wanna change this you could do stuff you used to like to do, like going outside and stuff. There's nothing wrong with wanting to excel yourself by learning how to program and different languages. But it seems like you need a little bit of balancing in your life. Go outside every once in a while.

well that's obvious, bitcoin it's money, if you have many you have a better life, if you did miss the train but you had already a decent life, you would not lose much from this pow

if you were poor and discovered bitcoin at the right time, your life can be completely different now, talking about mere addiction, nothing has changed for me, i was already addicted to numbers and stuff like bitcoin

i see the mining aspect of bitcoin as a game, and i love videogame, especially rts

Bitcoin really affects my life alot. Im thankful Ive known this kind of currency this year and I will continue to hold this thing for a long time.

Last year, my time wasted in online games and any others non paying works on the web. I can't imagined how much time I wasted and if I use that in bitcoin earning method I think Im holding a lot now. Now my online time has sense and that is thru Bitcoin.

bitcoin has afftected my life a lot not only positively but also negetively.thats because there was a time when i use to walk run and even jump like a monkey with friends and all the outdoor stuffs but after getting involve in this bitcoin thing i am spending most of my time either coding or learning new programming languages or earnin btcs for somewhere . should i lower spending my time in internet or not and is there anyone who is facing this type of addiction here
It's up to you to make a balance in your life. You think that earning bitcoin and learning new languages is more important to you than spending your precious time with your friends, so that's why you do not spend your time with them.

The same for the majority of users here, I have only had positive outcomes with Bitcoin, thanks goes out to Satoshi and the rest of the devs who have kept everything running what I would deem smoothly even with their disagreements, Bitcoin still stands strong. Smiley

Coders are always needed, the time you are investing in getting to know various coding languages is a great investment in your future. I would just try to find a midway solution for having fun with friends, but also to keep doing your coding work. You can do both.

There's nothing wrong with bitcoin being a big part of your life especially if you're tech gifted & can make money from it.

Don't let it consume you & take over your life, it's nearly Christmas, chill out & enjoy spending time with friends & family then maybe you'll be refreshed & motivated to hit it hard again in the New Year.

I'm facing the same addiction here. Can't really argue it, anything that feels good, usually have a addictive effect. Before getting to know Bitcoin, I was still most of the time at home, playing PC games but ever since, can't remember the last time I played games. Earning is great but having a way to balance that with your own private or social life is the key. Everything of something is always bad so try to not go crazy if you want to be normal in the eyes of others.

There's actually nothing wrong with that kind of crazy but I believe it's healthier if you balance certain things in your life. It's nice to earn money, but money isn't everything if you got nobody around you. You need to have a bit of a social life to feel human. That's what I believe, I don't feel human when I'm sitting in my room behind my computer all day. I need to have people around me every now and then. It doesn't mean that I don't get by by myself though, I manage to do everything by myself but the emotions of feeling human needs to feed of off something.
