Predictions are still predictions. People are free to make their own predictions, but they must remember that bitcoin can move anywhere without them being able to know and be aware of it. People could only see his movements without being able to predict them accurately. Maybe if it had happened a few years ago, they would still be able to predict "almost" accurately but for now, where there are so many interests "playing" in this bitcoin that social media "experts" cannot predict accurately anymore. So we can predict but we also have to have a backup plan if at any time the bitcoin movement changes direction from our prediction so we can adapt.

Why the hate? We seem happy enough when a Tweet seems to bring Bitcoin up. Shouldn't we pay our dues when the opposite happens?

Bitcoin's intention isn't to shame, if anyone feels embarrassed or even humiliated it is by their own doing -- much like I sometimes feel the bile rising just reading my old posts heh.

P.S. What does it take to become a social media expert anyway?

One unique feature of Bitcoin is that it always put social media acclaimed "experts" to shame. Sometimes these social media bitcoiners claim mastery over bitcoin. They indiscriminately predict its price as if they invented the coin with Satoshi. Even Satoshi now might not understand the price movement of Bitcoin because the creation is now economically powerful.

Through trial and error, some of them might have been predicted correctly in the past. And they have large followers that believe their analysis and follower their predictions.  One social media so-called expert recently shut down his social media platform because he predicted that bitcoin would keep falling until it goes into extinction. It was his followers that attacked him until he forcefully closed his page.

Happy bull run.
Well, those social media "experts" that has paid classes are really just there to influence. Whatever they say, those are bare words of mouth and the fans are overwhelmed so, they're acclaimed.
There's no way that they can be 100% accurate but what they do is to tell what they can see in the market based on their opinion and that's it. Only a few of them really knows what they're doing and they give proof to their claims and predictions with basis through charts and analysis that they have.

Well, if you randomly throw stones into bushes, there are bound to be something coming out of it..... right? They need to post rubbish predictions like that to keep the attention of social media sheep.

There are so many things influencing the Bitcoin price now, that it is almost impossible to predict a major shift in the market.... before an event happens. Only insiders and large whales can make predictions on small spikes in the price, because they are pushing it.  Roll Eyes

The so-called experts or internet gurus are incentivized to predict things that is happening in the meantime. After all, the future is not happening yet so all of us are welcome to speculate, specifically for those "influencers", who are seeking a vast internet audience validation and will happily do so. What happening in the social media scene is people bother too much about the numbers, such as their followers count. So, they are just validating based on social proof without digging deeper into what content those creators are actually creating.

he predicted that bitcoin would keep falling until it goes into extinction.

Bitcoin going dead or extinct is not a brand-new thing. Some people are still saying that despite the current long-form invalid prediction. Bitcoin obituaries have been dated since 2010, we won't see it will go down anytime soon.

Those social media influencer that feel they are experts in analysing the movement of bitcoin are only guessing and might not even understand the cyclic movement of bitcoin, which they claim to know. Bitcoin price cannot be accurately predicted because of its volatile nature and the crypto market.

It is only in this forum that I see a lot of experts that will analysis bitcoin price and give you reasons ,why it is like that but still they will tell you that they are not sure to what extend the bear market will dip to or how high the bullish market will rise to. He should have not deleted his page and stand the criticism of his followers, I see followers of influencers are now becoming wise and don't believe some information of their influencer after the crash of FTX.

They are simply cloud without water... Or popular people with little to zero influence on things.
To predict with 100% accuracy, you need to see clearly to judge right. And your truthfulness/honesty and wisdom alone are enough to influence the price of Bitcoin and other things.
In evil and deceptive system the honest and influential ones are hidden while the fools & non-influential ones are popular.
There is actually a true Bitcoin Master. He is humble and unpopular and can actually control the price from wherever he wants.  The popular ones are fakes.

Bitcoin is a no respecter of persons which is why it will always and ever remain decentralized, you will discover that after alot had been said concerning bitcoin yet it makes no imoact in changing anything from being in place with it, the more the attack the more the strength for adoption, what a theory of this kind that perfectly work with bitcoin, bitcoin attaining $22k remains a mystery to them because they thought it's would rather go down the more.

Sometimes these social media bitcoiners claim mastery over bitcoin

They think being a social media influencer has anything to do with bitcoin price or the fate to running a decentralized economy with bitcoin, but it's a pity they finds the newbies a victim of these kinds of claim and that's why they always believed in what the social media says, but someone like me can never be influenced by social media, i would rather source for right information from the bitcointalk forum.

Bitcoin makes me realized a lot of things that we should not follow people, even the rich and the knowledgeable ones, including the worst ones which are celebrities and influencers. Just do your own research and follow your own way which has been what that helped me. The world is full of people that say what they think is true in their own self-centered ways.

Too many self proclaimed prophets of doom everywhere and trying to act like a Mr know it all when they know nothing! And I think these guys do this in trying to paint a a picture of knowing how to read markets and before you know it one or two people will want these guys to get their monies invested using their skills, but we all know this ends in tears. Tbh Let's not entertain these social media critics, all they want is some relevance off the biggest digital asset.

Prediction is more or less likely a gamble so there is no assurance that it will become true even the most renowned predictionist proved to be wrong with many of his predictions.
And when they are wrong, you will never hear from them until a prediction comes true... Con artists at their best.

It's possible that one of his analyses of Bitcoin's approaching price was just a coincidence. I assume so because no expert can really predict correctly regarding prices let alone decide if Bitcoin will become extinct.
If the expert is active on social media which always discusses Bitcoin, it is nothing more than to find followers so that he can benefit from his social media.

Happy bull run.
Not yet. For me, it is not certain that the current condition is running fortresses. There are other possibilities that are more likely to lead to another correction. The positive thing behind the current market green for me is that price support is already at $20K - $21K.

As long as there are those who are looking for some mythical prediction to decide whether or not to buy, there would always be self acclaimed experts who would give random predictions in the hope that it turns out well.

There are also those who try to predict within the ambits of what is feasible and would always put a disclaimer that their prediction can go wrong if the market doesn't react as anticipated.

Happy bull run.
Not to sound like those experts  Wink, but I don't think we're there yet

If we are not there yet, can I call it a mini bull run

They are social media experts, so they know what the trend always is and how best to gain attention with it. Cryptocurrency is a big topic among youths, so what better way to gain the attention of the youths if not to act in a way like an expert in what is interesting them. They take up these roles as experts in cryptocurrency to gain more audience, followers and influence of people. Some of the predictions they have made that maybe entered or worked were most likely still not their predictions but borrowed predictions from people. I have developed the culture for a long time now not to take people on social media without results serious, because social media can be misleading.

These social media influencers are not really experts but try to manipulate the market with their influence to make money which also not become success on most instances so don't trust predictions and make your own and go beyong it.

Lol Happy Bull run Cheesy Bitcoin price didn't even reach the previous ATH, it's still not bull run yet and it might a bull trap.

There's no reason to believe what those expert is saying because they're a fake expert, a real expert people who can predict Bitcoin price correctly in many times, they wouldn't tell it to public since they're making money through trading.

Even if their prediction are wrong, they still get a lot followers although it's actually haters. But follower is still follower, those hater can help to increase the expert name and follower.
