Here it is necessary to take into account the relationship between bitcoin and a certain altcoin. If you compare some coins, you can see their correlation coefficient. Based on this, it is determined how much the price of one coin depends on the price of another.

Bitcoin down and altcoin will down too and it was happened repeatable in this year that when people starting to panic then usually they will sold all of their cryptocurrency asset including altcoin so that's why if bitcoin down then all of crypto market will down too however rather than complaining about the price i think buy at low price is wise action
I don't think like that, not all altcoin markets follow bitcoin price movements and even all altcoins do not follow the bitcoin price movement. Price changes will be based on the arrival of information on cryptocurrency as a whole, if there comes negative information then cryptocurrency prices will decline and start from the price of bitcoin first because there are many traders compared to altcoin traders. However, if an altcoin is developing its project and is well received by every investor and user of cryptocurrency, even though the overall cryptocurrency market condition is decreasing, the altcoin will increase, and I have often seen this happen in the market.

Bitcoin and altcoin like the upstream of rivers and creeks if the upstream dries up the tributaries also dry up, that's a parable in my opinion. so both are interconnected

I have realized that whenever  the value of bitcoin drops in the cypto market almost all the altcoins' values also drop. Bitcoin is and has been the father of all cryptocurrencies but i still do not get the relationship and the rationale for the effects of bitcoin value on altcoins.

you know what mate, never compare Bitcoin into altcoins. It is because Bitcoin is the original and became the reference of altcoins in this industry. Bitcoin was a virtual currency while altcoins are the utility tokens. Just like what you just said that Bitcoin was the Father or Mother of currency which is I do really agreed very much. Smiley

The price of the altcoin declines with the price of btc. It’s always been the case. This shows that btc has the most important status. We should hold it.

we can see in all markets, on the main exchange is altcoin can be exchanged for bitcoin, so of course I think the value of bitcoin is very influential on all the value of altcoins, if the price of high bitcoin is automatic the price of tokens or coins will also follow, because the altcoin will be exchanged with bitcoin .
That is trading pairs and majority of the pairs are with bitcoin. That's the connection of bitcoin and it is the reason why it is dominating the market, we can't blame it for being like that because it is the starter for this market. There are instances that when bitcoin is pumping, alts are dropping but sometimes alts are also increasing. This created the belief that when bitcoin goes on bull, alts are going to follow too so this is why many are saying that just keep on holding even with those alts.

Yes you have 100% right. Even if any altcoins keep the same price raported to bitcoin if bitcoin price drops the value of altcoins in fiat drops. We holders we can just hold our coins when price drops or just buy some more. I wish the most people in crypto not panic sell when they see a drop. If in future we will have more coins trading directly to fiat i think the situation will change and the altcoins price will not drops everytime when bitcoin price drops.

This is caused by panic among investors and traders, if they see bitcoin go down, panic occurs and they start selling their altcoins to avoid further losses. But the more this panic actually makes the market very difficult to rise.

I don't think so because when the price is decreasing many people will start selling them at higher in order to buy them at a low price. We have to be very careful with the market situation which we cannot able to guess when the price will go down and when the price will increase. We have move according to the market situation.

When ever the bitcoin prize goes down the market the value of a stable coins will also fall in USD value.
But if the token or coins pump its BTC value in the market it may change.
The convertion of USD is all about BTC and not the token price via BTC.

bitcoin affects the price of all altcoins ...
it is difficult to predict the price of altcoins when bitcoin falls, bitcoin is the first lot of coins that say bitcoin is the crypto king

for bitcoin and altcoin it's still very unstable bro, for a while it goes up and down for a while so it's still very influential on coin-coin underneath, but yes it is very unlikely that one day the prices can go up and can also bounty hunters, even though the price now we don't shake quickly to not play bitcoin anymore, keep up the spirit, bro xan good luck together

I guess depending on an information, if there is some negative information about cryptocurrency then the price of bitcoin will decrease as well as the price of altcoin will decrease. However, if in these circumstances there is some good information on some altcoins then the altcoin price will rise, even though the price of bitcoin is decreasing. So, not all altcoin prices depend on bitcoin prices, but on information.

Many came to the crypto industry Bitcoin, it is easier to buy and sell for fiat. Most altcoins are difficult to sell for fiat, only through bitcoin, there are many altcoins, and Bitcoin is such one. Hence, there is always an increased demand for Bitcoin compared to altcoins.

Altcoin market all depends on bitcoin. Most are traded on ethereum, of which ethereum also depends on bitcoin so directly or indirectly, all coins are tied to bitcoin. There are some good altcoins out there that can bring huge profit, it all depends on understanding the market but can't be compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin is king.

In my opinion, it's almost like that, but it's one of the altcoins, I'm following a coin (MiXin). It has fallen under the market, I'm looking forward to the recent testnet success of the project, hopefully, it's a successful step

I have been wondering what is responsible for this too. Each time the price of bitcoin is going up or down, the price of other cryptocurrencies will follow. It didn't often follow this pattern before. I started noticing it after the prolonged downtrend. I think it is because people buy or sell depending on the price of bitcoin.
You have to understand that the market moves based on how people perceive the bitcoin market on its own and most of the time, since the altcoins market are all tied to bitcoin, the general sentiment of the market is to see the altcoins go down when bitcoin is going down and absolutely, traders act accordingly.

It is a speculative market; it is just for everyone to understand the fundamentals of the market anyway. It is always normal to see altcoins grow when bitcoin is in a slight movement upwards or consolidations, but you do not want to be in altcoin when bitcoin is going down fast or is in a bull run.
