It will be difficult for altcoins to become stronger than bitcoin because of its popularity and the market value is far higher than any other crypto currency ethereum inclusive. Note that one need to buy bitcoin or ethereum as the case may be before you can buy bitcion which makes bitcoin or ethereum value more higher than any other altcoins in the crypto community.

Altcoins are winding up more unpredictable in innovation mindfulness. Most altcoins definitely know the shortcoming of bitcoin which altcoins dev are attempting to outperform the fame of bitcoin. Swell and AI crypto mightly supplants bitcoin later on.

everyone controls the market, so keep in mind that the trading site also has a lot of traders who control the price, but here depends on each project and the purchasing power of everyone depending on how the project is whether it can attract the interest of traders to buy

When the market starts to suffer people will go to safer investments or stable coins. Ethereum tends to follow bitcoin as do most others. NEO is a good investment because you are also getting GAS tokens when buying NEO so you can reduce your losses in a bear market

Undoubtedly the bitcoin will lead this market before and in future also and whole market will follow its trend. Only bitcoin will control this market because bitcoin is base currency and mother of crypto currencies and no altcoin showing power like it to surpass it.

Bitcoin will still lead the market. All of its fluctuations will directly affect the market, altcoin always follow the lead of Bitcoin. This is completely understandable.

I believe with the strong pull from profit generated. bitcoin will continue to be the center of the crypto market with the attention and investment of the community. Bitcoin always achieves a real user base resonance effect.

In times of volatility and uncertainty, investors tend to favor one particular crypto that has high liquidity and is stable. At the current time, Bitcoin price trend still dominates the market trend.

However, Bitcoin leading position seems to be doubtable as Altcoins have recorded a stronger rise recently and the market is less affected by Bitcoin. Instead of following the general price trend of bitcoin, many cryptocurrencies also start to follow their own “trajectory”.

This week, the altcoin works much better than both Bitcoin and Ethereum. The added value of the ERC20 tokens and the increasing demand for small cryptocurrencies of investors in the global market has proved that Crypto investors are more confident in betting their money on this market.

Saxo Investment Bank from Danish, with its aim to focus on online trading and investment, has announced in a recent report that the capital inflows from organizations to the Crypto market will lead to a rise in prices for most of these currencies.

Altcoins are the bigger markets.  Bitcoin is the way to the altcoins.  To purchase altcoin firstly you have to purchase bitcoin.  The control of this is vested with its users.  There is no particular person to make control over it.

This is an interesting opinion that I doubt many people on this forum share. Altcoins generally are just a bigger market, but for most part, bitcoin is the bridge between them. Generally, if you want to buy altcoins, you have to buy bitcoin and then use that bitcoin to purchase the alts. It's hard to find places to buy altcoins directly. I believe this is what makes Bitcoin and Ethereum in particular so large in terms of all of the other altcoins. As long as the system of having to purchase altcoins using bitcoin/eth exists, it is very unlikely that the altcoins will surpass bitcoin, as there will be people putting as much money into BTC as they do alts.

I agree with this. And despite the fast that a lot of alts were and will be created and even promising ones need some time for hardening. While BTC and ETH20 have already faced and fixed a lot of problems. So I do believe that some alts will become very valuable in recent years, but now BTC and ETH still will be in the top.

The market is generally controlled by Bitcoin for now. Aside from the clear data showing that a little less than 40% percent of the entire cryptocurrency market is dominated by Bitcoin, it is also clear enough that when something negative happens to Bitcoin, the whole of cryptocurrency market is also affected. On the contrary, you cannot see Bitcoin dropping in value because a single altcoin is getting pestered with legit cases.

Until now bitcoin is still in control of the market, but I'm not sure that bitcoin will forever control the market. Now I see bitcoin price movements very slowly, there are actually some coins that I see the price movements start fast. One of them is altcoin, for that I predicts that there is a possibility in the future altcoin will be able to control the market and beat bitcoin.

Well i do agree with you on the fact that currently most of the altcoins are doing great on the crypto market but one thing which we have to keep in mind is that most of these altcoins fall under the supremacy of bitcoin and ethereum because these two cryptocurrencies are used often. They are also quite popular than many of the  altcoins so most people who what to invest into crypto either go in for bitcoin or ethereum. This is what makes bitcoin and ethereum still rule the cryptocurrency market.

The impact of BTC on the market is huge! The value of the digital cryptocurrency is currently highly correlated with Bitcoin
Digital currencies usually have a highly dynamic price relationship. Sometimes they will rise together and sometimes go against each other. In some cases, their relevance will be very low.

I believe in the future that will control the market that is Bitcoin. Yes, I know earlier this year Bitcoin suffered a very bad price decline and we all nobody expected Bitcoin's price could be that bad. But I think over time, the state of Bitcoin is now better even though the price cannot be as high as the end of 2017 yesterday. Because Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency so I remain confident that Bitcoin is able to control the market.

When the Bitcoin price falls or rises against the fiat currency, all the altcoins will usually follow. This is because all altcoin prices are based on their Bitcoin exchange rate, not their fiat currency exchange rate. The value of an altcoin in fiat currency is the value of the altcoin in Bitcoin and then Bitcoin’s value in that fiat currency. It is Bitcoin that strongly affects pricing.

With much of the market tied into Bitcoin, it makes it easy for the Bitcoin Futures contracts to manipulate the entire cryptocurrency market because it is not just the value of the altcoins is the value of the altcoins in relation to the value of bitcoin. Smiley

Most probably, btc will drive the market and the complete crypto currencies will be behind btc.Just see the liquidity and stability of btc and then compare to other alt coins, it would be nothing when compared .Alt coins will tend to lose more money while trading as the volume is pretty less when compared to btc. Finally, even though we need to buy alt coins we have to buy them through btc or eth only as there si no other choice nor we are allowed to buy directly. This factor even makes it more stronger and creates a big gap between both of them.

it seems to me that if the prices of altcoins depend on bitcoin, it means bitcoin and controls the crypto-currency world, as the oldest crypt and the most expensive one.

I think Bitcoin takes the lead to Control the market because of its powerful ratio in the market not like Altcoin they are supporting coin to maintain the balance of its value unlike bitcoin it cannot control its place.

In my opinion, bitcoin is still the only specialty and the source of the crypto market. Bitcoin is intrinsic to create volatility in the market. With a long history and sustainable development with blockchain foundation of security and purity. Bitcoin will still dominate in interest from investors around the world. and even mining companies.
