but for now we can see for ourselves the rise and fall of bitcoin does not affect altcoin. bitcoin is now very strong in my opinion and what i've seen is that it has drastically increased several times but it doesn't affect altcoin to go up simultaneously

Most of the investors are optimistic that the price would rise by December considering the past performance of bitcoin before the halving, we are in the mid of November and the price is still at sub $9k and when ever there was a push to breach those resistance it came down, so i am waiting how the market will react by the end of this month and then we will see whether we will see another push before December.

The way crypto makert is moving, it is evident that there is no future of Alt Coin without BTC.
Alt coins usually go up and down with BTC. Strong BTC is essential for strong action.

That's the reality, bitcoin needs to lead the market so we can see a good overall market.
Bitcoin had some great run this year, but it was not as consistent as we expected, so when it dump, altcoins suffer again.
It's been this way so far, price volatility at play and the market is very unstable now so it's hard to expect that altcoins will grow.

For BTC, at least it has some great movement that leads to recovery this year.

Any fluctuation of Bitcoin will directly affect the value of all altcoins and this has happened during the last few years. If Bitcoin falls, then this market will become very bad and difficult to predict because the investment in that period will be very risky. That depends on the market. if bitcoin price is falling during a bear market, of course, the altcoins market will follow. But when there is an active bull run in the market, if bitcoin price falls the altcoins price will grow. Sometimes there is a market shift between bitcoins and altcoins more especially during a bull market.
