I'm glad you were able to recover from your ill health, atleast you're alive to preach about the advantages of investing in Bitcoin. Bitcoin investment is the best thing one could do to themselve cause it has a lot of advantages which includes, decentralization, security, transpiracy, quicker transactions, volatility and lots more. And the fact that you knew about it during the bear market gives you more advantage, cause those who invest then and HODL till this point has a lot to benefit currently and in the upcoming halving, where it's speculated to attain an all time high of $100k.

And to honest, asides the Facebook community group you mentioned, I've come to understand that the forum is one of the best, if not the best place to learn about Bitcoin and other Crypto currencies at large, cause on here there are experts and members that would give you a honest answer to what you intend knowing, all you just need is to be bold enough to bring up important questions and be willing to follow their advise as well as learning from their experience.

To crown it all I've come to conclusion that investing in Bitcoin is a good decision for those that are financially capable of purchasing high and also we all need to make good friends that would always be willing to support and encourage us to grow as we progress through our journey in life.

First of all, I congratulate your motivation, not for Bitcoin; that's secondary, but for life; your way of writing sounds like you're thriving, and you didn't allow the wheelchair limitation to actually be a limit on how you're going to live your life. I personally don't know how I'd handle such an incident, but from experience, I'd say that it would be nothing like how you're dealing with it. Also, I agree that technology is amazing, even though we don't really understand what's going on behind the scenes. The same applies to Bitcoin. I've been in the scene for quite a few years, active for a lot less, but I still don't know the majority of its technicalities.

The bear market in 2022 was a major accumulation opportunity; it's great that you didn't get discouraged. I personally miss those times because I was acquiring Bitcoin at an extremely fast pace compared to now. Continue DCAing; it's currently the best option out there, while prices are imminently rising even further in the near future. I wish you the best!

It was enjoyable reading your motivational post.

In conclusion, with this contribution, I want to convey the following to people, especially those deciding to enter the world of Bitcoin: Educate yourself, stay informed, and don't panic. Only invest what you are willing to lose. I didn't come up with this advice; wiser, more experienced individuals did, and I listen to them. If you encounter any issues, reach out to people who understand it better and have valuable experience. I found support in the Bitcoin Community group on Facebook.

I wish everyone, especially those who managed to read this far, robust health!

Thank you, Satoshi!
While reading I felt pity about the health story but I was happy to hear it's well now. I always like talking about new Bitcoiners to educate themselves about Bitcoin everyday so they can get every informations about Bitcoin daily. On a normal note, things change everytime just the way Bitcoin price always fluctuate every seconds so when one is in a good company we're he/can be getting informations about Bitcoin they wont make mistakes unless they are on the Bitcoin community to have fun.
You were very lucky to find peace in the Bitcoin community you were in Facebook, but I don't normally believe those things because most atimes there are lot of scammers there and people easily get scammed on social media platforms.

Financial problem? I think when people talk about finances they are talking about lack of money, nothing more and nothing less. So, if we recognize bitcoin as a good investment, it means it can solve financial problems for people. But I agree with you, no matter how good bitcoin is, depending and relying entirely on it is not a good thing at all. Because everything has risks and potential dangers, we should still diversify our sources of income, assets... to make life more secure. Don't focus on one thing, not just bitcoin.
However, there are lot of post on our local board that's always saying Depending on a single income now na suicide now, it means one should not only depend on a single source of income because you won't be able to progress easily. Although, there are very good paying jobs (that's pays million dollars a month) around the world but it's by luck you would be able to secure one of them.
Financial problems start only when you don't have a good paying job and it's always difficult to invest in Bitcoin when you don't have a good paying jobs, without a better job you can't afford to accumulate every month and even when you try to buy Bitcoin, you also need to secure some funds for emergencies.

A sad story, but it is full of hope and renewed opportunities. I hope that the year 2024 will be much better for you and that you will achieve what you were unable to achieve in the past year, but relying on Bitcoin to overcome financial problems may not be ideal, especially with the high price fluctuation, so it is better to have Bitcoin as an investment in the future of something after at least 5 years.
Bitcoin is a good investment but it can never guarantee to solve our financial problems. Although it has promising profits, but it’s still different when we invest for fun and for our future retirement, than to rely everything in bitcoin and expect immediately that it will do wonder to our finances.

I have high hopes for you that this year will bring a lot of profits in your investment. Just stay positive and be more patient while waiting for your bitcoin investment to give you life changing profits. When the perfect time will come, you will eventually reap what you have been sowing all these years.

First of all, I feel sorry about your condition right now there should be something that GOD wants to show you and he has given this kind of situation you, I think he knows that you can accept it very well and you will not turn this as a download but an opportunity and a turnaround to your life right now, and right now your story has now become as an inspiration to many here in the forum.

Actually, I was struggling with Cryptocurrency on my 1st day of knowing about it, and just like you I also experienced being a FOMO hate to admit it but there is actually something you will feel that you seem been missing out at something but a little research and reading can surely get you some knowledge in every kind of transaction in the crypto world, as different Cryptocurrency will have a different path as it was my 1st time knowing about it and I was such a newbie in it.

And people are going into some transactions not knowing that making their Coins into waste, you are surely right to Stock some knowledge before getting into the Cryptocurrency world as this thread of yours could become neat advice and also a guide on what people should need to do 1st before anything else, Making transaction, investing your hard-earned cash with a Decentralized asset, it is not a bad idea but there is just some risk involved.

I had no idea how little I understood traditional finances until I study them. I was taken aback by a video where I learned that the big-dollar is not backed by anything, that it really is just about trust in the state. I was amazed at how complex Bitcoin is from a technical standpoint, yet how simple it is to use. Comparisons to a microwave or the internet showed me that we don't have to understand what's happening behind the scenes technically – codes, hashes, nonce, blockchain, and the others. Just as the average population doesn't know how a microwave works, they just press a button and heat up their food. When you want to find information on the internet, you don't have to worry about how your device connects to the server and communicates in the background with the other side. You simply type what you're looking for, press enter, and there it is. You don't even realize the technical aspect of how money is leaving your payment card, and yet it is a widespread method of payment worldwide.
I totally agree with you, 100%! Also for me it's been kind of the same, and I mean that I used to simply spend some money, save other, and that was it, why? Because that is what 99% of the people do, and nobody ever told me there were way better ways to manage the money. When I discovered bitcoin, wow, it was like a life-changing moment because the more you learn about it, the more you start questioning the whole financial system, and that is probably the reason that nobody teaches some topics in schools. And I especially agree with your closing, thanking Satoshi, because besides whatever happens with bitcoin he already changed the life of people like you, me, and our families, because we can teach them what we learnt thanks to him.

I wish your health all the best. What we can learn from your experience is that, it's all about being patient and never panic. I am one of those that have panicked before and sold at an early time but I still have some of my holdings kept until now. I'd say not literally a panic but there's a purpose of it so, I can still give myself a pat in the back because it had solved a problem of mine. It's still frustrating though because I know that the price of Bitcoin will be increasing in due time. I've missed a lot on the last bull run but that's fine because when I've sold, I am still in profit but just lesser.

IMO, there are not so many newbie investors in the community just as you. Many of them have panicked due to what they see that their portfolios have been going down. They don't have the guts to stay in the market even if they are receiving bunch of advises to just stay calm, DCA and keep on accumulating. Good for you that you've made your research and learned that you'll still be able to recover from that loss you've made during that accumulation period, actually that's just a paper loss as long as you haven't sold yet, you'll recover.

Hello, I can't send you a private message, so I'm replying directly here. If I understand correctly, you would like to help me with some type of prosthesis that would enable me to walk again?

You probably think that I don't have legs. However, I do have them; I just can't move them. I am paralyzed from the chest down. I have severely spastic legs and cannot move them properly even with assistance. Both tendons and muscles are shortened. To make matters worse, in April of last year, I also suffered a very serious fracture in my left leg. Mobility is highly limited. I have a very strong scoliosis as well. In the coming months, I am planning to undergo surgery abroad because doctors in my country are hesitant and lack experience in such cases. The operation I had when I became paralyzed was already very complicated.
I'm not sure if any prosthesis would help me, but perhaps I misunderstood your message.

Oh my goodness, I am sorry, my friend. I didn't realize the condition was that bad; I thought it was something that the prosthesis could fix. My prayers are with you, and I hope that you find joy in the best moments of your life. Regarding what I saw a senior colleague mention earlier, you should try to maintain a confidential life here. There's no need to share pictures or even your handles to seek validation. We already believe in whatever you say, and we are hoping for the best for you. Just keep your spirits high and continue to contribute to the forum. Good luck.

No problem, actually, I'm even glad, because if I start walking, I'll lose my disabled parking permit. Ahahhh

I enjoy reading stories like this which often than not, compares those who are whole and healthy to those who aren't and their means of survival.
That is, many times it isn't disabilities of the body that stop individuals from attaining wealth, but the quality of mind and readiness to learn, research and apply the knowledge that has been gotten.

Here in this story, the tenacity to earn and take care of oneself without being a financial burden to family or society is evidently visible and I admire that because it sure shows how one can silently in any situation earn from cryptocurrencies/BTC without paying attention to the FUD that may rise from unclear or unrealistic crypto signals and news.
It also pays to have good educated and real friends who have grown in knowledge about future happenings like cryptocurrencies and are very willing to share and direct one to gain from their knowledge without adding fees or adding clauses that may become discouraging to one.

Your story is motivation because you didn't allow your physical challenge to affect your future. Many people in your condition would have been in a state of self-pity, where they just keep on giving excuses and feeling sorry for themselves. But you took time to study how to invest, and you also summoned the courage to invest and it is now bearing good fruit. It is common to see people with disability in my country begging on the street because they feel that they don't have a future. But you are doing everything possible to gain financial stability.

Thank you for your words. It's important to say to be fair that I've had a bit more luck compared to people who are on the streets, as I had some support from my parents, and especially in the early stages when I was just living on a wheelchair in the first few months and years, it was a significant source of strength for me. Smiley

You are a very good writer, and your story/experience is very valuable to other newbies too because it gives a form of blueprint on how you were able to stay HODLing bitcoins  even as a new investor. Information is always important, and as a newbie to investing, to avoid the panic that can come from investing in bitcoins, information will help.

I hope for you@OP that your health gets better.
Thank you, I tried to write it as best as I could. All good to you, also!

I just need a wheelchair, ha ha kidding. Actually, not kidding.  I really need it. O:) Cheesy
Sorry to ask again as I did not understand or get your sayings dear you still in a wheelchair or you can now walk on your feet? Well, anyhow I wish you good luck! keep growing and healthy.

Besides all that we meet such kind of person at such point when we need them, I would consider it a God help for us like God send such person to help us when we need to grow. in my case before I did not know about the Crypto space I used to do other work from where I made money and when stopped making money from there due to some problems/Reasons. Then some of my friends introduced me to the crypto world they told me about Bitcoin and Bitcoin is the First digital coin I bought at the start and when I saw myself making money from it then it brought my interest into the crypto space. From that time I used to do research about the crypto space which includes learning to overcome FOMO, how to stay away from frauds, and stay secure, best way to invest in crypto (DCA, Lump-sum) i mean I learned a lot and I am still learning. I love to learn and see the implement of my learning.
No, I haven't been able to move my legs since I was thirteen. So, it's been 17 years now since I've been in a wheelchair. I have a damaged spinal cord due to a mistake made by doctors during surgery.

The feeling when you learn something new is amazing, and when you see that progress in the field of education while gaining a deeper understanding of Bitcoin or any other industry, it's truly rewarding. Warning about FOMO is one of the first things I do when introducing someone to the world of Bitcoin.

Everything is okay.  You don't have to feel bad. I've been in a wheelchair for many years. I ended up in a wheelchair after an unsuccessful scoliosis surgery when I was 13. Now I'm 30, so I've had enough time to learn to live with it.
Yes, it is true that such friends are a great rarity in life. I met this particular friend in the hospital when he was recovering from a serious car accident. Even though both of us experienced unfortunate events that led us to the hospital, it also brought some positives. Since I am in a wheelchair, at least I have the opportunity to park close to the entrance at shopping centers. And my legs no longer hurt.  Grin Grin Grin

... thanks to all Smiley

Investing what you can afford to live without is also a piece of good advice because the market is predictable. From the information I have gotten these few years, I think Bitcoin should be seen more as a long-term investment. I pray that you keep making good profits that will make you live a more healthy and more financially stable future.

I'm sorry for your I'll health condition and I hope Bitcoin really brings a smile to your face which it would, my advice don't stop here l, buy more bitcoin if possible use DCA be consistent with what you have started build your emergency funds and reserves, take advantage of every dip you can and keep on building your stash.

Keep your holdings safe, you know how hard it was for you to get them, so don't waste them, don't fall for any ponzi scheme or even farming pool that tell you to stake your bitcoin for higher rewards, just keep diligence and your reward would surely come.

I checked your Instagram profile which you linked in your profile, OP you are a cool and passionate guy. You must have learned a lot about bitcoin, especially in the context of an asset that has the potential to provide returns, but you have to care about privacy when you become a user. Don't tell anyone how many bitcoins you have, it's too risky for anyone regardless of your physical condition.
Your advice is very valuable for privacy and safety of a Bitcoin holder. It is risky to leak information about our investment in Bitcoin because there are many Known Physical Bitcoin Attacks.

It is a bad practice that can cost us more than loss of bitcoin but maybe in worst situation, we might lose our life too. Invest in secret and keep our investment privately will help us to have good protection for our privacy and life safety.
