For bitcoin to reach that high amount of value per coin a lot of halvings have to happen and we need merchants to accept the coin more.
If not more merchants start accepting then it's hard to get even over 1k value, so I hope they will be accepting it.

For bitcoin to reach 6000$ that will take a very long time and I don't think altcoins would be at 600$ cause if bitcoin reaches 6k there will be so many people invested in bitcoin that there will probably be no chance for other cryptocurrency competition.

Well, everytime i watch the price of all coins at trading sites, when the price of bitcoin increase so high, other alt coins price will goes down. So, i don't think altcoins will increase too when bitcoin price increase.

most of these times are just simple coincidence with price changes.
other time it is because bitcoin has a sudden big rise and some traders pull out their money from altcoin pumps to buy bitcoin.

but i don't think there is much else to it.

bitcoin has the potential to go to $6000 and more when the time comes but altcoins are not capable of reaching $600 or even go above $10 ish price because of their nature.

I'm starting (and I feel kinda sorry for saying that) that Bitcoin has no future unless the development gets faster (Lightning Network , SegWit and more) and with the halving block reward happening last july and nothing really changed on the price , I don't think It's too promising.
As for alts , MaidSafe have really big chances to surpass Bitcoin If It gives what It's promising , not only every Tor browser user will switch to MaidSafe but also users of Google Drive , Dropbox and others.
The price went up about 50% before the halving. Are people literally retarded or what?

Well yes it is possible but is it realistic? If you ask me, it is not because bitcoin is not an altcoin anymore. It's grown to a more stable asset and if the time is right it can increase in price, but surely not 10 times the current value. That would be far too optimistic.
bitcoin is not an altcoin anymore ? what does it mean, bitcoin created this market and how can that be an alternative to some other coin? bitcoin does have its market value and i do not think it will come down in near future, having an alt coin at the mentioned price is an unrealistic value at this moment in time.

you should check out monero Wink

Bitcoin's perception is trapped between the hyperactive kiddies using it (including me) and its future role as a major player which is utmost in the minds of people developing it. There's no doubt there's some weird ideology going on, but slow and steady wins the race.

Let Ethereum be an example to us all.

this very long time bitcoin can up until reach 6000 dollar every one bitcoin
maybe is imposible bitcoin can up to 6000 dollar
this bitcoin price over 5000 dollar every send bitcoin so can big, so much people want not send bitcoin again because about fee
I think it can be possible but for now we can not experience it yet since bitcoin still on adoption and it needs more impressions and more people to invest in bitcoin since we are still not experience 1k value from 2013 until now only 700 above value before block halving we are experience maybe this year if we experience above 800 value bitcoin has a new journey that can get more attraction to people to invest..

Bitcoin and other altcoins are accepted by the more educated who are part of the people living in the realm of the "have's."  Their sense of money is relative, and I would say more aligned to the corporate worker's sense of money.  I realize the coin community comes from the meritocracy of people who may be lower income, as well.  What I am saying is that for the people earning over $80,000 a year today, if they are living within their means, money isn't seen in the way as money is seen by people earning less than $50,000,  So, $6000 a bitcoin for someone who earns $100,000 may not be too big of a stretch.  For the public to accept Bitcoin it has to be separated from the criminal element in the minds of the public, which is a task that for many has still to be accomplished.

I dont think so it could go to 6k especially the altcoin. I doubt there will be an altcoin that could touch $600 price, impossible. I dont know this people where are they getting their prediction or they are just over dreaming/over thinking in price.

I don't think bitcoin will reach 6k to be honest I think bitcoin actually had it's biggest growth spurt already but nobody seems to believe that.
I think 1k is going to be a stable prize for bitcoin until competition takes over with better ideas.

If I must me honest, I do not think that this number can ever be reached by the bitcoin but also not by altcoins in the overall, the 600 dollar is way too much for altcoins and 6000 dollar for one bitcoin is just insane!

Do you really think that the bitcoin top will be the same as the altcoin top i dont think they will switch because 6000 dollar for the bitcoin is really to much for what i know.

You are right, 6000 dollar is way too high if you are asking me and if you are thinking this is gonna happen you can dream further about this because this is never gonna happen for sure.
