Having a BTM (Bitcoin Teller Machine) will really be fun as it will further increase the awareness of Bitcoin usage. However, this will be difficult for countries which are yet to welcome Bitcoin, mostly countries in the underdeveloped world.

It is still possible to implement these as bitcoins are becoming something global. There have also been plenty of interest in it so that there have been also a lot of developments around it for purposes of merchandising, services and other concepts of commercial activities that could potentially change the world as it is.

I know one bitcoin machine in my country, but based on the guide video that i watch, the machine charges quite a lot and the rate is quite bad if you want to change your fiat to bitcoin.
it is very sad to live in the poor country because there is not any bitcoin atm in my country and it is 100% awful. I hope that my country will be better so that we can integrate with bitcoin more and more

I also don't understand why you need a bitcoin ATM. It is much easier to purchase the amount of bitcoins in the Internet. All ATMs will soon disappear as soon Fiat money will not be needed. Eventually all countries will go completely cashless.
I dont understand also why other people need bitcoin ATM. Even they have website that can easily to buy bitcoin and sell your bitcoin. I think bitcoin atm will not become popular to the ither because the fee is very high compared to the other website.  My country have bitcoin atm and if you see the difference of the buy and sell and I dont think after few years they close that atm.

The only reason right now is anonymity.
Put a pair a sun glasses, an afro style wig, insert 500 euros get your bitcoins and then get away as fast as you can.

Otherwise it makes no sense.
Why pay the extra 5-15% , why lose the time to get there, why... everything.
Including travelling 1 hour and see that the atm is out of order or it is not accepting you notes.

In the USA, most (perhaps all) BTC ATMs demand (or their owners demand) to see ID and/or a cellphone number for 2FA.  Both of these, of course, make loss of privacy an issue for me.

This information might be hack-able...   Sad

Only twice have I ever used BTMs without ID, both times were years ago (and one  was in Canada).

There are 2 ATM currently in my country and I tried one. It's possible to buy from 5 to 500€. It's funny as it's the first time I saw one and tried it, but at the end who care, you can buy directly from you house without moving your ass from the sofa Cheesy
I don't know a lot of producers but this one was from Bitaccess

yes i am also not in favour of bitcoin ATM. i think it is more easy than Bitcoin ATM to use online wallet service, because you can use online wallet service any time and from anywhere, you do not need to visit a Bankor a Bitcoin ATM machine.

We are in N. Italy now.  In a few days, I hope to try out "BTM" in Milan and later in Turin.  Coinatmradar says there is one in each city, and if that rate really just 8% over "spot", well that is pretty good (low) for a BTC ATM.

In Israel we have a bitcoin ATM.

It's really simple, you just need to:
1. scan your wallet address barcod
2. put in some cash
3. aprove the transaction
4. wait for the transaction to your wallet

I think it should become more and more common everywhere in the world.

Wtf that's awesome. A bitcoin ATM! I wish people in my country will be able to develop like that. That will be so fast and convenient. You will not need a card for the transaction. Withdrawing some fiat directly in the machine. That's too cool to use.

Before theirs 1 bitcoin atm machine in our country but sadly they've closed this one since theirs no people doing some transaction with them since bitcoin in my country is pretty un popular, But maybe in near future this coin will be known since I already see some little advertisement on it on well known online store aswell as people who's using it on my country are frequently multiplied.

Anyone in the bitcoin ATM business??

To general a question but the answer could well be there are people that are and there are people that are not.
You should ask a management related or operational question

Here is some information from https://coinatmradar.com/countries/ and my comments.

First, I live is a city in the SE USA, and there are several BTC machines scattered about the city.  Two years ago there were very few.  AT first the premium to buy was some 9% over BTC price "spot", which seemed reasonable.  Now there are several more machines (and more reliable), but the premiums range from 14% - 19%, ouch!

I once used a machine in NYC years ago, with a premium of around 10%, but did not require ID!  I am sure that's changed...

In Vancouver (Canada) I used what is purported to be the "First BTC ATM" at a coffee shop (2016), no ID needed, about 10%.

We will be going to Italy this summer.  According to coinatmradar above, there are two machines (total) in cities that we will visit, one shows a premium of 8% the other machine did not post their premium.

We may be going to London as well.  coinatmradar reports several machines in London charging only 6% over "spot".

https://coinatmradar.com/    <---- highly recommended!

I saw some videos in youtube that they're using atm with bitcoin i wonder how far it goes. because i know its hard to if its have an atm machine. we all know that bitcoin is made to be cryptocurrency which is intended to be used online for faster transaction with no extra cost just like other remittance center. but still i want to try to use atm machine of bitcoin and to see how it works and whats the advantages of it.
i think bitcoin atm is a good adea. but currently it is not working properly, it will be more helpful when the users of bitcoin will increase, and in such situation atm machines will be more helpful.
I still do not have the full idea about this bitcoin atm but what i can say about this based on what i understand about it is it can be helpful specially not that bitcoin is being acknowledge and used by many, transactions will also increase and it is a great thing that we will have many options of such process.

Bitcoin atm is something maybe usefull if you dont wanna to use your bitcoin, just wanna to save for the future or do something else. I dont know the price that local traders does make, but taking into consideration they charge a comission for their service, i do believe atm is already a good option if the taxes is 5-10% above current bitcoin price.

Basically its different from philippines but you can put money or cash in direct in your btc wallet by using machine that have a cash in services including bitcoin. Its convenient because its has no fee and many cash in services is widespread in one city.

No fee???
There is no such atm anywhere in the world.

Most of them charge such a ridiculous fee it makes no point using them.
The average fee was between 5 and 15%.
I tried a zebra atm and the price was at least 5% above the price bitcoinwisodm was showing at the moment.
So I said a big FY and I'm not going to use them until they charge at most 2%.

So far I have not heard much about bitcoin atm, Only on one island that I know for in my country where bitcoin atm is already there in Bali.
Probably because of the many tourists who visit then the make way alternativ way to transact that is using atm bitcoin service.
We live in the same country, friend Grin Actually in Bali there are 2 bitcoin atm machines, these are in Ubud and Kuta. You are right that many tourists who previously also used bitcoin visit this place, so making bitcoin atm indispensable. Actually in Jakarta there is also bitcoin atm, precisely in West Jakarta. So in total there are 3 bitcoin atm machines in our country, maybe this number can increase but that I know is in that location.
