Opening Bitcoin ATM's worldwide is a great concept to make Bitcoin more closer to people and to make Bitcoin more usable to anyone in the world easily. and in the future we would see many like in Las Vegas including developing and non developed countries spread in every city in most countries and hope this is just the start and keep increasing around the world

Though it's good news towards bringing the much-needed adoption of bitcoin closer, I really don't get it why bitcoin ATMs are really necessary yet more and more exchanges are now beginning to implement direct Credit Card deposits the latest to announce this new development being Binance.

Where I come from, financial solutions provided by mobile carriers like Mobile Money are even more popular than the mainstream financial institutions and their ATMs... and this even gets juicier with cryptocurrency in play. All one has to do is get his mobile and send money to his exchange account directly or withdraw crypto from his exchange account to fiat in his mobile money account without having to go to the bank

Las Vegas is one of the largest entertainment centers in the world, here you can find your paradise. ATMs (Bitcoin) installation is a good choice because many people own Bitcoin instead of FIAT. You can run out of money, but everything remains if you can still use Bitcoin.

Actually, that's not new at all. There are already a lot of Bitcoin ATM's are in place but anyway, this is still a piece good of news for everyone, gamblers and traders alike. Imagine having Bitcoin as a legal currency around the world, that would be awesome.

There are now many bitcoin ATM's that keep popping up around the world, I think it is because of the adoption that are continuing to increase. There are big possibilities that the demand to bitcoin will increase more.

The important thing for these ATM's is that they spread awareness of Bitcoin as a payment option and it helps people realize that it is a legitimate form of currency.

Bold idea to make transactions more effective and increase the value of bitcoin while giving the advantages of Bitcoin network to its users who still haven't gained and i think this seems like ground work to build a large and also stable network in the world to make bitcoin the ultimate mainstream currency which can easily achieve if this is implemented properly by selecting best possible locations to place ATM machines

Even though in our country the government has not legalized Bitcoin but there are about 3 places available for Bitcoin ATM machines. The location is in Bali Indonesia. But the ATM machine only provides Purchase only.

Its not legal but you still have atm's on your country ? That's strange  .  any way ,  bitcoin atm's are for cash out's only  .

This is a good news though because we can see that bitcoin is now growing but im kinda bit jealous right now .  bitcoin is not illegal on our country and many citezens here are now aware about cryptos but unfortunately i cant see any bitcoin atm's existed yet .

In Ukraine, the same situation. "The legal status of cryptocurrency is not defined" - so stated in official sources. But this doesn't interfere with the work of a large number of bitcoin ATMs in different cities of the country. And they also, like at the author's country above, make it possible to make only a purchase.

Sounds nice, most capitals and a lot of big cities have a btc atm nowadays, its a step Smiley.

Yes I just googled if Ireland had a Bitcoin ATM [I wasnt expecting a positive result]
and yes there is one in Dublin which I am very happy to hear!

http://bitcoin-atm.ie/#contact

This is great to see, by the looks of the machine they use it is
not a large unit, doesnt take up too much space so I think there
should be more merchants willing to offer the service and earn
some commission.

This is really great! not just for bitcoin but to the whole crypto industry especially on alternative coins for it have an opportunity since bitcoin is already popular. I heard a lot of news about bitcoin atm machines and i don't really think there is but now it is. This is a good start for this year, lets us all welcome the new era of payment and currency.

Actually this is true and yesterday I received a map of Austria ATM's and there are over 100 so imagine how much bitcoin is prospering there. I think also that Poland has lot of ATM's and Romania has some of them too and I'm sure more countries will follow this example and install bitcoin ATM's.

From my perspective Bitcoin ATMs are not so popular anymore. At least not in my country. Year or two ago they were appearing all the time but recently there are no new ones and existing are not so popular. I think that Bitcoin users are having multiple choices how to buy or sell Bitcoin on more convenient way. So having a Bitcoin ATM today is not so lucrative business anymore.

I didn't even know that there is bitcoin atm here in my country until I've searched it. Well, others may see bitcoin atm helpful for them because it is fast, especially if you’re going to transact BTC to fiat. But for me, I don't use bitcoin atm to transact. It's more hassle for me coz you have to know where the bitcoin atm is located. So yeah, it's not that lucrative anymore.

It is important to notice that more countries have kept them engaged into the process of regulating cryptocurrencies. This is a good news for bitcoin. Along with the same CBOE have once again got into the ETF approval submission. These factors indicate the growth of cryptocurrency all around the world. When the growth progress automatically, more ATMs gets popping up supporting the community.

I also see more and more news in that perspecrtive, it is one of the best way to promote BTC and crypto. Generalisation is a key towards general acceptance and I'm waiting for the first in France !!

If the casino's were to accept bitcoins then that would be major news. So far it is just online casino's but hopefully one day actual bitcoin casino's will let you win x amount of coin and to gamble it as well

I think sometimes the reason is that people decided to start this business during the 2017 bubble, but the documentation, legalwork and other preparatory measures took so long that the ATM-s are just now popping up - but I do hope they get used regardless.

Good for your country. Here in the Philippines, there is already a bitcoin atm also. Yup! You heard it right, bitcoin atm, which means it is only one Grin (AFAIK). I don't know if I will get proud or embarrassed about it but nonetheless an improvement is still an improvement. I hope there will be more btc atms to come in the future.
Some people get arrested after installing an ATM. I remember it was the case in ASIA.  Grin
Probably because he is not authorized of doing so or probably did shady stuffs there like putiing devices/program for getting copies of the passwords inputed by the victims there.

It's a great start to let people know the existence of bitcoin. As more ATMs are being installed in different places, it will increase the curiosity of people and they might start to take interest about bitcoin.
As for people who already knew about it, it is very helpful and convenient for them since it is way easier to exchange and buy bitcoin.
