What threshold will bitcoin go down this year?

I hope you are not wishing it, $10k is a huge crash and it's only a year that we have a major crash, let's just reap what we just sow, market is looking good and it will continue to be, I don't think or we don't think it will go down to $10k again at the present scenario we are in, we are good, things are looking well and I don't see anything bad that can make the market crash to $10k at least for now.

The question is, will it hit the upper price of $100,000 within the next year or will it hit $1 million within the next five to ten years?

I guess that $100,000 is more likely than the $1 million in the next five to ten years, I just can't imagine bitcoin will hit that high in just a short period of time. Maybe we need more time for real adoption and not just more on market manipulation by the whales.

$10k is possible everything is possible in crypto but considering the fact that many exchanges right now are going out of bitcoin supply and most are holding this can't happen in the near future the market is bullish and everybody was, the only reason I can see if btc will crash at $10k is when China and US will ban bitcoin.
yeah, everything will possible to happen but I just see a small chance only. We can't simply ignore the growing number of investors and users that could help to stabilize at a higher price. In fact, the market never shows such a huge dumping trend, what we gonna see now is having a sustainable market resistance, and that it stops from seeing the downtrend.

Investors now are already changing their minds, they are more on holding than being a panic seller that usually happens before.

Compare that to today and people bought bitcoin a lot more expensive these days because it has been increasing for a lot of months this time.

It's quite a contrast. What this means is that because the price has gone up so much in a short period of time, it is all about the momentum. The price is supported by high levels of investment and speculation that at the beginning of 2017 was not there. This has got everybody jumping on it and we saw such a great support price for bitcoin that we could only imagine. I think that we are going to see this continued rise, that it will continue to go up. The question is, will it hit the upper price of $100,000 within the next year or will it hit $1 million within the next five to ten years?

What threshold will bitcoin go down this year?

Your asking what will be lowest price of Bitcoin from this moment on? Or what will be lowest price this year?  This year lowest price was most likely at start of the year at $29k.  Lowest price form now on will most likely be above $40k.

i just done some calculations
of all the UTXO(coin movements) 6.8mill coins of the 18.6m circ shifted in the last 6 months. where over 75% moved while the price was over $37k

75% of active movers(last 6 month active users) wont wont to sell at a loss below $37k

minin costs minimum cheapest cost is about $22k so miners on the most efficient asics wont sell below $22k. and hobbiests with higher costs wont sell that cheap.
infact hobbiests with higher mining costs will stop mining if it went down to that level and just buy like crazy as it would be super cheap to just buy instead of mine if it goes below their higher personal threshhold

so there is really high support/resistance. to let it drop below $37k and even more support pretty much all active bitcoins that will not sell below $21k

..
in short. forget $10k.... 22k is the ultimate bottom now. and a good chance $37k is a good strong support
If that 37k is the right price and you calculated right, that would mean a lot, we would be basically doing a lot better thanks to actually having a decent bottom this time.

I always said that we are in a different situation during this period, people kept talking about how in 2017 we increased a lot and in 2018 we decreased a lot but they are forgetting that we are in a situation where people literally bought bitcoin constantly during the last 6 months, whereas in the 2017 world we weren't over 4k until November and reached 20k just in December, so in 1 month we increased more than 5x and that is why the drop was simple as well since people bought bitcoin a lot cheaper, only a few people bought bitcoin high during that period.

Compare that to today and people bought bitcoin a lot more expensive these days because it has been increasing for a lot of months this time.

What threshold will bitcoin go down this year?

Bitcoin's strongest support is not at $ 10k, so it won't go down there mate, but $ 20k could go down on that support,
provided Bitcoin is really in bear season, but this is just reading support, so far as I am know Bitcoin is still showing its bullish signal,
if it can break out above $ 100k, I think $ 10k or $ 20k is just a dream for buyers, haha very interesting to follow.

What threshold will bitcoin go down this year?
No one is ever believing that we would really be going that low.Imagine that $10k price drop then there is really something that do happen in the market
which it did result into such crash because going back from 57k down to 10k isnt something that you wont really be panicking about.

No one could ever predict on what would happen in the upcoming years to come and when it comes to price prediction. All the things we can do is to presume
and speculate which is common.

Why would really be asking that out? Better to focus on what we are experiencing now.

The last time that we saw Bitcoin near at that price is at October 2020.
Predicting the market really is hard but this time, there is no prediction because this will really happen. Bitcoin @$10,000 will never ever happen anymore Smiley.

We have given the last opportunity to buy Bitcoin at that price last year and all who took the risk and took the opportunity at that time are the ones who are happy with their profits right now. We already know what happened next right Smiley. Bitcoin back to $ 10,000? Forget about it, it will not happen knowing that the adoption is increasing. Institutions coming in and more and more people are investing into it already.

We might be wrong though saying that it will not happen Cheesy. Kidding I'm pretty sure about it
I can't say that it will "never ever" happen, but I do agree that it is as unlikely as it gets. Never say never in crypto world because anything could happen, you want to doubt bitcoin would never be under 1000 dollars again? How about if satoshi comes up and says who he is, sells the 1 million coins he owns, and then gets either jailed or flees to another country whichever takes him with a promise of not hurting him?

You know that it is unlikely and "near" impossible for something like that to happen but the reality is that it is not impossible, we can't guarantee something like that unless we are satoshi himself, hell even he can't promise that, only if he is already dead which some claims to be true, but we do not know for sure. So long story short I know 10k is near impossible right now but it is not technically impossible, I think 20k+ is guaranteed for now.

Bitcoin is never going back to $10,000. The sooner all the bear trolls accept it the better. We are going to over $100,000 this year & there’s not a damn thing anybody can do about it.

As the market demand keeps moving high due to the increased number of users, there is only a slim chance that we got too deep again, and yes, $10k is also impossible. If ever there is a huge dump in the coming days, I don't think it goes below $20k.

I saw the sustainable market gain and this makes the price doesn't fall bad compared to the previous bear season.

I wouldn't exactly say impossible, but very unlikely.
I am recommending anyone who has not invested in crypto as of yet to first learn the basics of the ecosystem and understand that nothing can be said about the long term performance of coins or the market.

Furthermore, I think there is more hype here than the market can take at this point in time. No matter what comes up, I don't think price will move to $10k.

Institutional investors and big companies already holding it. I doubt they will sell in a rush. Minimum will be 5 years before they might start dumping it.
Elon Musk has his shares too and I don't think he is the type to just sell it because there is no need for it just yet.

Even if it's at its worst, $10000 is still a low price.
I don't think we'll ever be able to buy bitcoins below $20000 this year.
But forget about this, think about what the next ATH price will be.

I do not have an idea how low bitcoin prices will go down shortly. After what we see on the bitcoin price that can reach $61k-$62k, I guess that any lowest price can happen, especially if people panic when they see the price is down faster than expected. But to go down to $10k, I think that will not be easy to see because with the high price now, maybe the lowest of the bitcoin price can be $20k. But we really do not know about that, and we will see many speculations about the lowest price of bitcoin.

What threshold will bitcoin go down this year?
That is the kind of question of which everyone in the forum would like to have the answer, if we knew when the bottom will be reached and how low it will go then you could invest all your money at that level and earn a fortune in the process as it will be impossible for you to lose any money, but this is unrealistic, what we need to do is either to keep holding our coins and if you are a trader to keep watching the markets attentively as the next days are going to be critical.

is a BTC at 10k still profitable for miners ?
This is will test the mentality of the miners, Are they will out or will survive, but you should know that if miners keep mining so it's still profitable. I think miners will never sell their Bitcoin earnings if not profitable for them, so Bitcoin will never go down to the price that not profitable for miners

Every bitcoin that is being mine is still profitable for the miners, they have invested a lot of money, so I doubt that they are not making any profits even at $10,000.

And just like the rest of the members here, I doubt that we are going to see $10,000, that's more than half of the current price. But in any case that a shakedown like that happens in the future, it will be the biggest opportunity after March of last year.
