Bitcoin Black Friday officially launches on Nov. 29th.
This is the second annual event. We had a Bitcoin Black Friday last year and had about 75 participating merchants. Here's a rundown of Bitcoin Friday results from last year. http://codinginmysleep.com/bitcoin-friday-results/
Everyone had a great day... Let's do it again, but bigger!
This year we're aiming to get 500 (Yes, I said 500) merchants signed up and offering deals on their websites ONLY for Bitcoin users ONLY on November 29th.
For those of you who didn't participate last year, Bitcoin Friday is a one day sale two weeks before the great American pre-holiday sale: Black Friday. It is a chance to prove a couple things:
Last year we had a couple spontaneous Bitcoin Friday parties erupt (looking at you Bitcoin Kiez and Room77). This year Bitcoin Friday will hopefully be sending packages of goodies (from BF participating merchants!) to groups that host Bitcoin Black Friday parties. Think Bitcoin Friday t-shirts, Alpaca socks, and other Bitcoin-related items. If you're interested in hosting a BBF party, let me know over PM. I'll be promoting this portion of Bitcoin Black Friday more in the next week.
So, I'd love some feedback on how the project has developed, please reply below with suggestions for this year's sale!
