I also have the same question, if would be awesome if someone provided a .torrent for the date.
There is a torrent its called bootstrap.dat and can be found here:
https://bitcoin.org/bin/blockchain/This will however not be the full blockchain, but only a big part of it.

The torrent file includes no executable so malware not really a problem. What good is a virus that cant be executed? Be carefull about the source however.

Bitcoin core 0.9.1 is considered safe. It is however only one possible client, you might want to check this:

You can download a bootstrap.dat from
https://bitcoin.org/en/downloadBitcoin Core initial sync can take a very long time to complete. You should make sure that you have enough bandwidth and storage for the full block chain size. If you know how to download a torrent file, you can speed up this process by putting bootstrap.dat (a previous copy of the block chain) in the Bitcoin Core data directory before starting the software.
