I've been keeping up with Bitcoin and investing for the past year, and Im wondering if anyone thinks it will drop back down to 6 - 6.5k in the upcoming months?
I've read a lot of projections and there is a mixed consensus but several "vets" agree it's due for a big drop.
What does everyone think?
I don't think we will see bitcoin go back to $6,000. We've been there so that's basically enough for itself to recover.
What will be the "big" drop they are expecting? Did we already have the biggest drop for the entire bitcoin history and it's because of the FUDs and statements that came out from various economy experts?
I'm bullish on bitcoin as long as it stands on $8,000.

no, 2014 was worse. in 2014 we had an 80% drawdown. so far we have only hit 70% off the 2017 high

however. 2014 was the worst year in bitcoin history. mt gox blew up. REAL fud was everywhere.
Still a close one but comparing the both from two different heights the biggest lost for many is from the recent one.
And what's new today? I guess Mt.Gox has never got out of the issue and is still remaining involved from the current bear market that we are with.

Though the market prediction for the year 2018 will be very good and bullish but the year till to day it looks bearish .Its popularity is
considerably increasing and day by day more people are attracted to it. The global educated people are aware of its useful characteristics .Now the first quarter of the financial year is on going and possibly  the second quarter  or the third quarter the market may come to the bullish trend.for the year 2018.

bitcoin will not drop below 7k in the next few months. Mostly during the summer of each year, Bitcoin prices will increase sharply until the end of the year. so i suggest you to hold and wait

Growth in the summer will be, and it needs to be caught, because also in the summer there will be a big correction, because most people go on holidays in summer and the activity in the market of crypto-currency will decrease significantly.

We can not really control, determine and stabilize the price of bitcoin which makes its negative aspects. But of course, we are still hoping that its price may rise this year and continue to rise.

this crypto industry is really volatile, sometimes you will get the result that really unexpected. bullish and bearish think is the part of bitcoin, many factors influence both events, such as news spread by mainstream media, government decisions, and whales that continue to control the market. if you ask whether bitcoin will experience a very deep decline this year, it is obviously very possible, but it should also be calculated also what percentage of the possibility of it happening. and do not forget when there is a possibility of falling prices means we should not turn a blind eye that there is a possibility the price will rise higher.

I do not really know where the bitcoin price is because I see this year has not created a very good moment most likely there will be a very good moment at the end of the year and make the price rise to be very expensive.

neutral. range bound. i think 6k was likely the low and if it's re tested one of two situations will happen. a fake out to 5500 or so that gets everyone short and turns on a dime or a 2014 repeat situation where were are at btc 4k around christmas. i do not find evidence to support the 2014 repeat. the 2017 run was much smaller at 2000% and we did not have the only major exchange blow up like they did back then.

6 to 11.7k is my guess. people need to be shook out. i'm digging the increase in profit mining vs the low of this year. fewer people selling hashing power or mining outright. i would like to see it stay a bit bearish for a time. let people build up a supply for a year or so before the uptrend begins again. market needs to consolidate. ideally the lightning network gets ironed out before 2020. that could start a MAJOR rally which would put 50-100k in the cards especially when you consider the halving

Things are about to get exciting on the 2nd half of 2018. Just waiting for the market to break the 5-digit barrier. Once it hits $10,000...it’s off to another record breaking run for bitcoin.

Of course everyone would be obviously bullish about bitcoin although this year was really a struggle because we have bottom to $6500. However, there are signs that we are slowly recovering, even going as high as $10K before another price correction and now the price seems to hover above $8K.

As for the predictions, we all know how volatile this market is, some of the predictions may actually happen but majority will be a miss for sure. However, I'm a investors so I will remain bullish and we may see bitcoin hitting more than $20K at the end of the year.

The Bitcoin course began to grow again on Saturday, May 19, 2018. However, the current growth rate of the crypto currency can not be called confident. Bitcoin last month lived up to the optimistic expectations of investors, as a result of which the bearish trend was replaced by a bullish trend.

Bitcoin is definitely bullish as tgere hasn't been a major decrease in price bit it's gradually increasing at a slow phase. It will definitely have a higher base point by the end of this year as long as the holders are patient and panic selling is not practiced.

Yes the market is still growing and I think this year it has struggled to reach $ 10K - $ 15K I assumed it will happen soon but it is hard to say but time will show what will happen next few weeks maybe there is an opportunity to achieve this.

There is nothing to worry about even though no one can predict the price of bitcoin, there maybe a bullish run before 2018 ends.

Writing anything against raising the price in bitcoin is like keeping your head in the guillotine and hoping that it will be unscathed. However, from time to time you need to do what needs to be done. Therefore, at the risk of ruffling a few feathers among enthusiasts bikoyunov and convinced supporters, I will give my two cents about why the last rally in bitkoyne looks bubbly. Only time will tell whether my argument proves right or flat on his face, similar to those proclaimed by legendary investors.
