Actually I think BTC replacing cash doesn't seem something to happen right now, maybe after BTC highly grows it's market and the people who use it,also all stores have to accept BTC which they don't as of now.The whole payment infrastrucuture have to be handled around BTC and as time goes by it may happen, but it strongly depends on the BTC growth and how fast it happens.

Bitcoin cant replace anything because i know that bitcoins exist out of dollars and i know for sure that fiat also depends out of dollars so they cant replace each other
I think the dollar is fiat and the same thing, dolar is including parts of the fiat. so I think bitcoin will not be able to change the currency of any let alone replace the system of world currencies are fiat? but is it possible that bitcoin could become a currency in a new country?

Bitcoin replacing the fiat?

Fiat is a paper money, paper money such as a dollar, dollar is having a big domination for the another, and the another will get an impact is dollar is get issues. so id bitcoin replacing the fiat where from the bitcoin is having their value, everyone is measuring bitcoin from the fiat values and what happen if fiat is disappearing?but i sure the people is not moving on bitcoin, the correct moving is into a gold.

Legal tender are all fiat so it will never be replace by bitcoin, just think that bitcoin is not that popular over the world while fiat has been used for a long years, the popularity of fiat and the trust of the people is hard to beat by bitcoin, we should be contented on the usage of bitcoin that it is only for online transaction.

Of course, BTC cannot replace fiat. I certainly don't want BTC to replace fiat. I love fiat.
The goal should be to replace credit cards, traveler checks, and that's huge.

Fiat is a basic necessity of majority of us as its very easy to spend it, and not all are aware about bitcoin yet and even in future fiat will always show its presence even bitcoin gets more popular.
it's because fiat used by all people in every country of course, you can do anything with fiat and it will memeberikan convenience to you,
but of course when bitcoin accepted by everyone in every country, then you will find it easy as using fiat

if you love fiat then you have no real place here, it should be pointless for you acquiring bitcoin, if for not making more fiat, which i think is the case with almost 99% of the people here, they are here only for more quick profit, and i think bitcoin can certainly replace fiat, it can replace fiat of those 3d world that are worthless, and from there maybe getting big enough to destroy euro and usd

Well I think this is hard to say, I think it can maybe do this but it will take a while, lets hope it will in the future.
Of course its the question when it than will happen because the bitcoin would need a lot of time accomplish this without any doubts.

That is true i dont think that the bitcoin can replaced by the fiat because the fiat has a other currency so they cant compare with each other becuase the fiat is many times higher right now.

I agree with you, I also love fiat, to be honest I was more comfortable to use both at once than using one alone,
it would be better if bitcoin be an additional version for the payment method than having to replace or currency payment system

yeah after all, it would be difficult to change the payment system and currency in the world, used by all community fiat and of all countries in the world, it is impossible bitcoin could change the world and replace fiat, I would be more amenable when bitcoin become an option for the fiat

Fiat holds huge market cap and its more popular in compare to bitcoin, and the fact is that it has support from Government and people and even if bitcoin gets more popular in future it will be always treated as an secondary currency.

Flat is needed for our's daily needs , without flat we can't doing our activities until now and it's hard to make a transaction (but in the past , we used to made a transaction by trade with other peoples) . So , Bitcoin can't replace flat in the future even Bitcoin is becoming popular around the world . But still have a chance Bitcoin could be accepted in the merchant for easily shopping faster and more efficiency.

Massive price drop coming...

Yes, got you intrigued, didn't it?

Bitcoin is a very good thing to have as an asset. Just like gold. Even better if I may say. It's secure, and unlike fiat money it actually exists and work is put into it to produce it. This makes it great to store value.
However, it cannot and will not replace current fiat money that the entire world it using. It just cannot.
Take paying a cup of coffee for example. To pay your coffee with bitcoins, one must get bitcoins first, either by mining or buying bitcoins with other kinds of money (*cough*fiat*cough). It ends up being a quite complicated process, don't you think?
Until we reach the point where paying for a cup of coffee is as easy with Bitcoin as it is with cash, we will never get mass adoption. And as far as I see it, there is no way of simplifying the acquiring of bitcoins.
I dont think biutcoins are able to replace the fiat because the fiat is an other currency that exist out allot more dollars than the bitcoin his value is so maybe in the other cases people like to use fiat as a higher product.
Its to replace fiat with bitcoin because some people are didnt know how to use bitcoin since we are just using bitcoin as alternative online payment processor if there is a local coins or physical coin for bitcoin we can replace fiat as a worldwide coin that can use offline and online payment..

People trust banks partly because its part of the tax system.   Fiat money is demanded in taxes not just monthly but weekly and daily, every sales tax on every retail transaction involves government oversight and taxation and it must be paid in the currency of the land of the government.    Banks are part of that regulated system that constantly throws money back to government and so people know these dollars are in demand always.  Obviously we realise that demand is false and not a fair circular system but I think the truth is more obvious when you are not stuck in the middle, most people in cities are surrounded by the constant tax flows in currency, false demand and banking enables those channels.
Bitcoin is all avant garde and nobody demands you ever have bitcoin really

Yeahh, Everybody is compelled to have fiat currency with them, they need to for their day to day activities. It's the way the world has been programmed by the governments and those in power. Bitcoin will be like gold, a safe and valuable investment. Bitcoin will provide an alternate option for investors and traders. Replacing the fiat seems silly for the time being. And honestly speaking, do you really think the governments will allow bitcoin to replace their currency?

if people don't trust banks so blindly then probably bitcoin can have a little change of doing so but they are nit just a ponzi scheam they are officially paying the lowest intrest but still people put the money there because they belive in thir security

People will always prefer to put their majority of their money in banks as they have more faith in it and they don't trust bitcoin fully and I don't think that bitcoin can ever take place of fiat in future.

You didnt even give it a little chance.  Grin But I do agree. It is some imaginary idea of people who went to a conclusion without even getting facts. There should be questions before making a big decision like that. You will have to please the government for that to happen.

If it is bitcoin that we are talking about then you can be 100 % certain that there is no way that the goverment is going to let that happen. There is no way for the goverment to have an absolute control of bitcoin therefore there is no way that a country is going to let bitcoin replace their fiat

Even if bitcoin value reach 5000 dollars unit, bitcoin wont be replacing any currencie, it may become an ivestment option and just, bitcoin isnt here for destroy or replace, but to clear minds and show the people power, something countries forgot long time ago.

Just like gold. Look at its price.

Actually it is more like changing the bank system. The transaction fee, the system of credit cards and a lot more. Those banks take more when it is people's money that they are holding. They are just storages or keepers but when they found out they can use it for investment then now they are rich.
Banks do make money from our money because they will roll it for loans to those who are applying for it but we as depositors we are only given a certain amount of percentage and that is not fair, when we are talking of investing it is better to put our money in bitcoin as it has a great chance to grow bigger.

In terms of  interest or profits bitcoin would  have the edge hence the price movement or volatility of it  is   high  compared to the given  interest on banks but  most people would not risk to  put  all their money into bitcoin  because  of the risk  involve, they would  like to  put it  on bank which is  more secure even the  interest  is not good.
