The biggest problem to btc being adopted or 1000x bigger than it already is..  it is the on ramp ! if government's would get the fuck out of the way. Stop regulating the shit out of the on ramp, cut the AML/KYC bullshit and let people, banks, business freely exchange Btc for fiat, or credit cards. Allow boarderless transactions, it would be huge and most if not every business would accept it, and why not? Who wouldn't want another flavor of ice cream.

But you can come to my country and you will sit in restaurant, you will drink and eat and when a waiter come and ask you to pay all that, you try to give him euros or dollars? Well its not working, a waiter will tell you how he can't accept it, and you will have a problem.
Bitcoin can replace fiat, simply cause bitcoin have potential to be universal global currency. Fiat is not one currency, dollars, euros, rubles, dinars, and who knows how many other fiat money is there. When will Russia accept dollar, or US rubles, when will Asia accept euros? I will tell you, never! But for bitcoin there is a chance to be accepted by everyone!

Everything has the chance to be accepted however it depends on the country as well . No country will want to accept another currency apart from their own original currency unless something happens to their currency however it is rare to see something to happen unless inflation finally burst out of control

Bitcoin will always be uses as an secondary currency and not an primary one as no Government will allow any digital currency to replace its national currency, so I think fiat will always exist.

In the next few years, the bitcoin will not be used widely, let alone second currency. In 20 years, it might be the second currency.

Yeah, bitcoin will never replace fiat. bitcoin will only remain an alternative currency, although bitcoin will be great in the future, it will not mean replacing any currency.
Bitcoin will stay what is it today but there is the adoption comes for bitcoin this following months.
So yeah even in the future it will stay bitcoin as alternative not to replace fiat..

Yes bitcoin is very popular today, maybe in future you will see more people using, and adopting because the fees of changing currencies.
This is great, for business who sell their products around the world.

The bitcoin is quite popular now. The price of the bitcoin rose about $30 in the last few days. But it will take decades to replace some fiats.

Replacing fiat is unreal for bitcoin in reason cause goverments of different countries will not get any profit from bitcoin, so for them better not to accept bitcoin.

Yeah, fiat will keep alive and bitcoin can't replace it, but i think bitcoin can go along together with fiat, so bitcoin will not replace fiat.

Bitcoin is the digital currency which is gonna the future currency world and most probably US only adopt this currency instead of dollars and world will use bitcoin as money as well as transaction mode.
europe and america has shown their support for existence bitcoin and they are know bitcoin can solved some problem they know can't solved by bank maybe can't replaced fiat but all countries accept the existence of bitcoin as a currency.

There it is. The good answer so far. Providing convenience is the key factor for bitcoin to be accepted by those countries. Not change the way they use to be but upgrade it. Make it more easier, faster. We know there are a lot of people who are traditional and just cant change that instant.

replaced the fiat as we replace the financial policies or State and if that is done then the prices or the economy will experience a bad thing for the Betterment of the country. Bitcoin as just a place for profit and not or forbidden to lead the pulpit

BULL RUN until 2030

Bitcoin is perfect if we compare fiat and btc! But won't replace fiat!
But every day we have new announcement and new projects that can be direct rivals to btc, this is something far more dangerous then fiat.. Bitcoin was first, but we don't use first computers and cars no more.

The fiat will last longer than expected. The governments will like it as they can inflate away their debts.

It cuts both ways. Our debts (for example, taxes) also get eaten away with inflation. Unlike loans with floating rates (quite common), I have yet to see a tax with an inflation-adjusted rate...

Things are never as good as they are bad

That is right. If you borrow money, it is better to borrow fiat. If you lend out money, it is better to lend out bitcoin.

If you have the bitcoin, it is better to use the bitcoin as a collateral and borrow the fiat. By the time you return the fiat, it has lower value.
LOL, why would you still borrow fiat and you will pays the interest expense when you have a bitcoin than you can easily cash out when in times of desperate need of money. That makes no sense for me as bitcoin is money (internet money).
