Yes certainly, fiat money is used, bitcoin used no more than 0,005%, I am sure there are many countries that are 100% not using bitcoin. so impossible that bitcoin replacing fiat money.

It is a fact that only few countries are into bitcoins most of them still doesn't know what bitcoin is. And it is an impossible thing that bitcoin will replace fiat because it will always be preferred for the transactions that are happening worldwide and countries will not gamble their government upon trusting and replacing fiat with bitcoin.

To make bitcoin replace fiat it must be teached at schools to the next generation. The old persons are addicted in old behaviors, that means fiat and not crypto currencies. On long term bitcoin can replace fiat but it will take too much time.
Luckly it will happen in decades, but there is the possibility to happen only after a century or so.
I don't think bitcoin will ever replace fiat. The reason is pretty obvious as bitcoin isn't stable at all and the price keeps on increasing when a person purchases it so technically it can be really profitable for a person like the pizza guy who sold a pizza for 10 million or something or a loss like for the guy who bought pizza for 3000 bitcoins. So that's what I was trying to tell because price change it can affect lot's of people.

i don't think that bitcoin will replace fiat in short time because there is much thing that bitcoin and blockchain to do, beside of the price is change too often, maybe if bitcoin price is stable like gold then bitcoin can replace fiat but the sign to get in that moment is always possible as bitcoin having a good future for the economic aspect.
It's not possible at all as it is impossible to make the price of stable as the price isn't controlled by anyone it is controlled by the buying and selling factors. So even if any government replaces it with fiat it won't be able to control the price as bitcoin is used around the world. Bitcoin = Fiat will always be a dream."

although bitcoin and fiat have the same function, as a means of payment and transactions, but bitcoin is still considered complicated for others, because bitcoin is not only virtual money, but people who want to know bitcoin have to understand the technology, how it works and the actual function of bitcoin itself, in contrast to money or fiat that has tangible form, it will be believed by many people, besides, bitcoin is still in a certain group, a group that knows Bitcoin, .. so, I also thought the same, for now, Bitcoin can not replace fiat in all transactions,, but perhaps the future of bitcoin can replace fiat in various ways and with the development of better bitcoin. Bitcoin is not going to replace fiat for most people but without a doubt there may be some bitcoin users out there that are not using fiat anymore and are only using bitcoin right now.

I don't think that it is possible only to use bitcoins as to take care of our expenses in real world we need fiat and bitcoin cannot be used anywhere for buying anything so in that case we have convert our bitcoins to fiat currency so that we can use them for shopping.
Now at present we cannot use bitcoin same as that we use fiat for our needs starting from daily needs to other online purchases. Little by little it's increasing as userswere increasing. If bitcoin have got an physical appearance as our cash it could have been more popular than the present but it cannot replace the fiat system.

That's why there's the need for us to develop Bitcoin to cater for those deficiencies and compete with fiat squarely, only then can it replace fiat.

It is good that someone like you, is here, offering yourself to help and develop Bitcoin to fix it's flaws and make it a competent currency, which it cannot. The thing that makes bitcoin is because of it's decentralization, no banks can take a peek on it even the government. Making bitcoin replace fiat, means that we are handing out bitcoin to them, giving our freedom to them. And who js stupid enough to do that? Come on! Bitcoin makes bitcoin bitcoin, and that is the reason I like it. With bitcoin being a fiat, you will be handin a lot of taxes which nobody likes that is why they are switching to bitcoin.

currently it may not be possible but in future we can expect so. when the number of bitcoin users will increase more and more and when people will stop using fiat and they will give preference to bitcoin instead of fiat.

i agree because to search local store that accepting bitcoin in every country is not easy and only few country that allow us to use bitcoin for the payment. i think we can use bitcoin to pay our expenses in future when bitcoin is know globally and more people is using bitcoin and there are many store accepting bitcoin.

Yes, got you intrigued, didn't it?

Bitcoin is a very good thing to have as an asset. Just like gold. Even better if I may say. It's secure, and unlike fiat money it actually exists and work is put into it to produce it. This makes it great to store value.
However, it cannot and will not replace current fiat money that the entire world it using. It just cannot.
Take paying a cup of coffee for example. To pay your coffee with bitcoins, one must get bitcoins first, either by mining or buying bitcoins with other kinds of money (*cough*fiat*cough). It ends up being a quite complicated process, don't you think?
Until we reach the point where paying for a cup of coffee is as easy with Bitcoin as it is with cash, we will never get mass adoption. And as far as I see it, there is no way of simplifying the acquiring of bitcoins.
Yes,bitcoin cannot replace fiat.Even now,in many countries, most people dont even have a bank account and debit card, credit card. They dont know about digital transactions. What they know is paper money which they can feel with their hands. In future also,Fiat currency would exist, but its usage would get reduced.Bitcoin would be a secondary payment option.
Yeah right, fiat money will continue to exist because the use is legitimate and fully protected by the government, despite the use of the bitcoin is already widespread, but will always be secondary and fiat is always primary.

This is the reality, our governments already marked our currency that will be hard to diminished on us. For it is one of the label that makes our country, In this millennial times wherein currencies also overtakes in technology there were really some improvements that technology offers to make online transactions faster this is were bitcoin really takes part. Bitcoin may not replace our fiat in our country or government, but here with technology bitcoin rules.

The government may even produced digital fiat currency out of the paper money in the circulation. Our time is moving fast and our technology is going digital and even the financial world have seen the merits in turning cash into digital. Given this fact though bitcoin cannot replace fiat currency and will never be but that is not a bad thing but a good news to bitcoin. If it replaces fiat currency it will no longer increase in value.

although today bitcoin so famous, but I think bitcoin will not be able to exceed fiat. basically, almost everyone uses fiat, because it enabled them to carry out transactions for their needs each day. but, most people only see bitcoin as an investment tool, or business. so, in this case, bitcoin might not be able to replace fiat.
actually still majority of people do not accept bitcoin and that can be the only reason that they do not have enough knowledge about bitcoin. i am hopeful that when they will know about bitcoin then they will start using bitcoin.

indeed it is like that. but now the people in urban areas are already using bitcoin so often. they've been using it for their daily lives. This time we must continue to develop bitcoin, especially in rural areas. this should be pursued. with these conditions, the use of bitcoin will be uneven as fiat money.
Ugh i don't know about that. I haven't heard of btc being used in a lot of areas much less urban areas. Bitcoin, along with other cryptocurrencies have a very good potential for future use but to replace fiat, no. Fiat may very well be the currency that we'll use far into the future but with the addition of course of other currencies including btc

The acceptance of bitcoin will go higher in future but I doubt that it can ever replace fiat in future as we cannot expect that everyone will start using bitcoins and even if they start using it they will always treat bitcoin as a secondary option and their first choice will always be fiat.

All of you guys right , the main thing that I feels that why the bitcoin can't replace Fiat is that , bitcoin has no big support by the all countries government ( like the doller) , so here to trust upon the bitcoin by all the people's in the world is not so easy , so here most of the people don't trying to enter in the bitcoin like things and other who are already in the bitcoin job are using bitcoin for the  earnings of the Fiat only because they know that if they can turn the bitcoin into cash ( Fiat ) then they can use it in any way , that is why the reason that bitcoin can't replace any Fiat .
Exactly, besides, there are will always people that will prefer Fiat and is not prepared for the changes. Therefore I don't think that Bitcoin can replace the Fiat and if this will happen it will be in a long time
Yes most of the people in the world still prefer fiat because they comfortable using it and fiat is more stable than bitcoin and it has a fixed value so it is not volatile to its price. If i choose between bitcoin and fiat for long term purposes and usage, I will still choose fiat because it is so easy to use and it is physical and i can use it offline unlike in bitcoin that only depends in the internet.

Yes and the fact is people are more comfortable in using fiat as they are using it from the beginning and fiat is easily acceptable everywhere which is not possible with bitcoin at a moment and not many are aware about the bitcoins that makes bitcoin less popular then fiat.

The main problems were decentralized and could not be controlled, surely the country had a large consideration if using financial fiat money, can be controlled and full of manipulation. Dangerous if countries use the bitcoin, because it can be controlled by a person or group.
