Well it certainly has got the support. No. in the market cap already, and the value is great, especially if you think it is an altcoin.
So we can all agree that bitcoin cash is doing alright as an altcoin?
Yes, BCH is currently running very well. Other than that the price rates were spelled out very well. I was unlucky not to save Bitcoin during the forking process. Bitcoin cash can be an altcoin that will blend etherum with its popularity.

BCH seems to be doing extremely well at this very moment but like most have pointed out, most exchanges have not allow depositing of the coin yet so investors who want to dump aren't able to do so yet. Still no denying that BCH is ranking high currently though! Personally I think on average BCH won't drop below $80 even when the trading starts but it would be very interesting if BCH drops below to LTC or Monero level. I think maintaining at Zcash or DASH level is extremely possible.

We havent sure about that yet, most people complained that its still hard to find the exchanger to dump bitcoin cash, once the exchanger works well, there will be a huge dump and bitcoin cash will slide down and become an usual alt coin

Amazingly BCC did very well, No3 now just after bitcoin and ethereum. I guess it will take a few weeks to see how stable it is. It's a good altcoin though Wink

There is nothing we can tell after such a short time period. I give it a month or two before we get a good picture of it's stability.  Tongue

Good or bad I agree it would be too early to jump on such conclusions. I think we need to wait some more time before we can be sure whether it's going to keep it's position which it has right now or not.

Dumb money might start pouring in from new investors who see BCC as a more 'affordable' bitcoin.

Yes, it is performing good in terms of growth and no doubt about it but considering a long term scenario, I don't see any future for the BCH as compared to the BTC but there is a possibility that BCH might perform well in alt-coin categories. Last time I checked, it was 78%+ in terms of price and I think it might cross $600 mark within a month but still when it comes to the long term, I would support BTC.

Can anyone comment on when difficulty will readjust? I heard the Bcash devs adjusted the difficulty algorithm, but I'm too much of a layman to see it in the code. 3 hours without a block -- ouch.

I think things will look much more interesting once difficulty readjusts on Bcash. Then it'll be "business as usual" on both chains, and we can see a more efficient market develop. For now, these illiquid markets don't mean much.

Apart from BTC regular readjustment every 2 weeks, they added some code so difficulty will be reduced by 20% if there are not 6 blocks solved in the last 12 hours. It's better explained here: https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@boxxa/bitcoin-cash-difficulty-error

Hello to all.

I have one question about Bitcoin cash and this fork which in my logic I really can't understand.

Before for BTC got about 44.000.000.000 $ market capital, then become fork-split and about 15% of owners get Bitcoin cash for free, ok. Now how is possible that that Bitcoin cash have 7.000.000.000 $ market capital and BTC didn't lose anything. People receive free coin, but who give that 7.000.000.000$? is that imaginary with pomped value (no real value)?

Or people receive Bitcoin cash with value 0$ and one some put into that 7.000.000.000$ and make value of 350$ for one coin.

Please explain me.

I have the same question, and its extremely problematic to explain this to a old-school economist, an external observer may think they made "money" out of air, not just one time, every hard fork may have this ability,  this doesnt generate the needed trust in the ecosystem, real investors will go out of the space if this kind of practises persist. Undecided
Until now ,i didn't understand that bitcoin cash or bch or bcc thing, will do more readings about . I didn't know how can it effect crypto or it will be like another alt. Will do research on it for now I will just keep on to my btc.

It's the miracle of the markets, Bitcoin Jesus just multiplied our coins and created a shit load of money from nothing to save us from small blocks.

Don't search for explanation, you just need to believe in Bitcoin Jebus.

Once people are able to deposit their BCH onto exchanges and dump, it will take a massive dive at least for a bit.
I don't think people will sell their bch rightaway. I guess now the currency is doing so well due to two reasons. The first one is that miners are probably getting obsessed with such an easy mining of a newly released coin, so the activity becomes super-profitable. Second is thing is that bitcoin is now an upgraded version of what it used to be and I have seen respected members of the forum willing to turn to bitcoin cash now, as it is closer to what btc is supposed to be. They probably have lots of funds, so they invest in the currency. I think they can be compared to those people in "Doctor who", who were running away from cybermen, because those are obsessed with upgrades and are not people anymore, you know.

It's the fact that there is no relationship with bitcoin, it was not created by splitting from bitcoin on August 1st, 2017. It remained before that time (August 1st). Some people tried to make it as to be splitted from bitcoin to get benefit when they promoting and make it raised the price then they sold them out to get profit. Bitcoin cash is an altcoin and have no relationship with bitcoin. Please look at the reality and don't be fantastic any more! The Segwit is to improve blockchain in the speed of money transfer not relevant to bitcoin cash. If someone said it was splitted from bitcoin why our bitcoin did not loose its volume. I have some bitcoin and after August 1st, I still have them without changing volume (reduce volume). Bitcoin cash is cheap coin and will fall the price down quickly when people know the truth about its origin.   Grin Grin Grin

There are more new topics about Bitcoin Cash in the Bitcoin Discussion board rather than topics about bitcoin.
We can all agree that Bcash is an altcoin,so all the topics about BCH should be moved to the Altcoin related forum boards.
Anyway, bitcoin cash value will decrease very soon.People start complaining that there`s no place to sell their BCH. Grin
I agree maybe bcc is just okay today but soon it will decrease and people will get shock about it. Even Bitcoin cash is doing well right now it still consider as an altcoin. You can see some infos to other thread here about bitcoin cash.

I saw the price Bitcoin cash lately, the price was quite lower than the Bitcoin. The progress of the value was digitally higher and the price will higher after a while. That was my estimation, it is doing okay. Around $500 per Bitcoin cash. This coin will adopt by all nations and will use by all people. Bitcoin cash is coming in our hand.
