According to what I have seen in some exchange sites, Bitcoin cash is doing great. Its value keeps on rising up but since it is an altcoin, there will be pump and down. Let us see what will really happen after a few weeks. But for now, Bitcoins is still the best for me.

Well it certainly has got the support. No. in the market cap already, and the value is great, especially if you think it is an altcoin.
So we can all agree that bitcoin cash is doing alright as an altcoin?

There are more new topics about Bitcoin Cash in the Bitcoin Discussion board rather than topics about bitcoin.
We can all agree that Bcash is an altcoin,so all the topics about BCH should be moved to the Altcoin related forum boards.
Anyway, bitcoin cash value will decrease very soon.People start complaining that there`s no place to sell their BCH. Grin
I think that BCC price would be just pumped high to divert bitcoin holders attention. In reality,it would lose its value soon and get disappear.Since most big exchanges have already said that they won't support BCC,i think that BCC holders should have to wait for their coin to be listed in any of the exhanges and by that time,it would have lost its value Ha Ha Ha.

If its an altcoin then definitely it will follow the pattern of almost all of it, simply a pump and dump coin. I don't think it will disappear though but without a doubt it will lose its value immediately. I saw that it has dropped to $200, pretty clear that it has no support from the get go.

I have to agree. It should be moved to Altcoin section where it belongs to. Maybe a few exchanges may list BCC or BCH for whatever reason, but its not a guarantee that will get a lot of support. Of course greed will take over for most and so this coin will be pump hard. I'm just hoping that if you join the boat, you need to have a exit strategy otherwise you might be trap for long like what happened for some who is still trapped in ETH because they bought it when the hype around it is so big, now the price is just above $220. How can you go out without incurring losses when you have bought it around $300? This scenario will likely happen to BCH as well in the future.

Amazingly BCC did very well, No3 now just after bitcoin and ethereum. I guess it will take a few weeks to see how stable it is. It's a good altcoin though Wink

There is nothing we can tell after such a short time period. I give it a month or two before we get a good picture of it's stability.  Tongue

That is right, we can't tell what might happen to these new altcoin forked out of the blockchain, all we gonna do now is wait. And just after a few months, another debate will happen and also the fork will be official for the Bitcoin Cash.

Can anyone comment on when difficulty will readjust? I heard the Bcash devs adjusted the difficulty algorithm, but I'm too much of a layman to see it in the code. 3 hours without a block -- ouch.

I think things will look much more interesting once difficulty readjusts on Bcash. Then it'll be "business as usual" on both chains, and we can see a more efficient market develop. For now, these illiquid markets don't mean much.

Grrr. It is getting messy in the bitcoin discussion thread.
There is also an altcoin discussion since it is already concluded that it is an altcoin.
Hi there, moderators. Let us go back to the way it should be.
This might affect the bitcoin value if it spreads more.

BCC was designed to take place from Segwit Bitcoin which is not Bitcoin at all (it's in definition listen to Peter Rizun recent speech). That's why we're discussing Bitcoin Cash in Bitcoin thread, coz we think of him as of a rightful heir!

That could happen but it could also be pumped to > $1000 once the Chinese exchanges make it available for trading. The good thing is we have more $ or BTC. The bad thing is there will be 2 BTC in at the top 2 of coinmarketcap.com. It will further add to the confusion.

Does BCC use the same symbol as BTC?

As for today BCC and BTC have tye same symbol

Bitcoin cash will be fine and BCH is an altcoin that will have a price above average, I will hold it in the next few days and will see the development of this altcoin, hopefully its development will continue to run in a positive direction.

What else could it be, other than an altcoin?  Air dropping into 4th place market cap is a remarkable feat, but give it a week and then declare how it is doing.
How many blocks does it have in its chain?

it is too soon to say, there hasn't been that many blocks mined, and most importantly there have been an extremely small number of transctions in total on bitcoin cash network.

let some time pass, and let people claim their BCC tokens and start selling then we can give opinion on whether or not it is doing well.
and besides none of the exchanges that i've checked allow deposits of BCC yet.
