I do think so that bitcoin cash will overtake or replace bitcoins and as for the dump and pump of bitcoin cash i think that it is mainly due to cancellation of Segwit2x in bitcoins which cause dumping of bitcoins and bitcoin cash starts rising.This rise in Bitcoin cash is just a temporary thing and it will fall hard.And also that bitcoins are accepted in most of the sites, stores and etc and bitcoins are the coin who is most popular among cryptocurrencies and also is the king so bitcoin cash can't just over take bitcoins.

well I think bitcoin cash never take over bitcoin because bitcoin have same reputation in market that can be attain only by the running of 8 years in the market, bitcoin cash was just released and people talking like that, I think this is very unexperienced act tho! 
I don't think Bitcoin cash will take over Bitcoin. This is an attempt to push price of the whale. And a majority still believe in this round buy BCH competition cause trading volumes surging. price will decrease the depth when whales target profit
It can dream all it wants. At least Ethereum, when they wanted the flippening so badly, had found its use in crypto and blockchain. I'm not an ETH supporter by any chance, but got to give them a lot of credit for building something for enterprises, beyond being a simple competing cryptocurrency. What does Bitcoin Cash have that other alts don't in much more abundance? Quick and cheap transactions? Even Dogecoin does a better job at that.
Definitely what we are seeing now is yet another corporate sponsored attack. But let it happen. Bitcoin will weather this storm.

no it's not. absolutely nothing like that. what they're doing right now is making fun of us. there is no other reason why a coin that does not work at all, or even what it is used for, is so inflated. we need to do this phase again to wait. the fork is over, but they may be trying to inflate the bitcoin cash and capture people's money until they find something similar to them instead. we have to be careful.
Within 24 hours the hashing power will be back to bitcoin.

Yes. I see a big pump in BCH price value and dump in BTC price value. As of now the price of BCH is raising up, however i dont think it would take over Bitcoin and replace it. Other coins' growth would somewhat get affected when either BCH or BTC being on top of all currencies. This is common in the market. 
I think the hype is because of the fork tomorrow (Bitcoin ABC). The price will go down for sure after the fork.
Maybe after 50 years

Never in my wildest dreams. I don't believe that BCH can take over BTC. What is currently happening can be considered as conivance between miners and certain exchanges. Though there are some who are panicking right now with what is happening with btc I'm sure all of this will come to an end. For now, it is good for alts with what btc's decrease. People aare turning to alts but for sure everything will be back to how things are so I'll stay put and watch where this commotion lead.

I'm hoping it doesn't take over bitcoin. I'd like to just stick with one of these and move forward. At least I took some nice profits from BCH yesterday though!
Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash will co-exist and probably serve different purpose. Bitcoin may continue to be a reserve of value like Gold while Bitcoin Cash grows to be used as a reserve of value, as cash, also with a possibility of smart contract.

Ethereum is not claiming to be Bitcoin while bcash is, they are leeching off the brand of Bitcoin and spreading confusion among unsuspecting/uninformed investors. What bcash claims to do, is already being done on some other projectaltcoin and it's way better. They're fundamental proposition is inconclusive.
bitcoin cash is bch while Bitcoin is BTC and BTC is what the community accepts, bch pump is just temporary beware of FOMO it will wash out all of your money. trust bitcoin BTC and not those impostors of btc

I think people cannot afford Bitcoin as it is expensive.
So they are trying invest in Bitcoin via BCH. This might be the reason it goes up. Also Bitcoin inventors have a strategy to keep up the demand by keeping the supply low to 21 millions creating a constant demand in the Crypto world.
They have applied the same rule to all their off springs.( BCH< BTG and segwit2)
You are right. And nice explaination. BCH will never replace BTC. If we concern about what happen in BTC right know we should already replace it long time ago with LTC. But it never happen I think people cannot afford Bitcoin as it is expensive.

I dont think bitcoin cash will replace bitcoin in the top of the market because of the investors because many of them prefer to invest in bitcoin, but we cant take for granted the bitcoin cash because of its potential in the market for me any of these coins is potenial for investing our money and it all worth it when time comes.
