happy to get the information you provide, of course this is a challenge for all who really want to be able to introduce what "bitcoin" is to many people, especially clearly the community that may really need it.
you happen to be trusted to be able to explain to the church youth community which is unavoidable that the need for knowledge of bitcoin is very necessary in a sector that really needs it.
clearly the church's role in this matter will be an example that technological progress cannot be ruled out but to continue to move together by getting to know it better.

In many part of the world churches have played a big role in providing education. Not only the religious preaching, but through setting up of schools and other form of education for survival. Today the same serving as a place to educate about the future (Bitcoin) is a good move. Op is doing a great job to spread the good about the bitcoin as he believes it'll change the life of people around him someday.

Bitcoin Class in the Church 14th August, 2o22. (Christian Youth in the Digital World)

On the 14th August, 2022, I taught my church members about bitcoin through a topic from the Sunday School Manuel, Christian Youth in the Digital World.
In the class I taught them the basic concepts of bitcoin and it definitions and other digital tools and devices which is used to navigate the digital world (internet). The class was divided into two adult and children. And I took the adult class and I started with the explanation of Christian Youth in the Digital World, that is how Christian should used the digital world to benefit themselves and also to enhance the gospel, instead of using to defraud people, watching pornography and evil things etc and the tools and devices (Mobile phones, Laptops, Desktops, IPhones etc, then Social Media). What you do in life and your appearance also influence others to go to church.  Then  I started teaching Bitcoin with some related concepts like decentralized, Trustless, p2p, digital, currency, Immutable, decentralized digital currency, space, ecosystem, Disintermediated, Distributed, blockchain, cryptocurrency, Hard Capped, Censorship resistant, nodes, Real estate, Secure personal information. These were some of the things I taught in the Sunday School Class on Sunday. And the women with the Pastor were very happy that I taught them such vital information that them have not aware of.

If you want to read the Topic from the Sunday School Manuel, go to a nearby Church of God Mission INT.L. Page 30 - 35. you will understand everything there.

This is interesting. Taking blockchain and Bitcoin to religious body is a step in the right direction. This will definitely pave way for others to follow suit. It is believed religious body holds good communication with her followers so therefore can easily encourage her members to adopting Bitcoin which will gradually create awareness and massive adoption and acceptance.

Agbe, I think you should be dubbed the Bitcoin Evangelist Grin. The  name would fit you well. You are taking the bitcoin "gospel" from the classroom, to the church. I am truly impressed. I won't be surprised if your next topic is "Bitcoin Class in the Market". It seems you have been anointed by Satoshi.
Lol, your right about that.
Agbe is doing so much for someone that joined up barely a year ago. His taken on the mandate to create awareness for his local community and that's an impact that wnt reflect just on the community but in a way, would also come back to him to have shared some light on what could be a deal breaker for the locals.

On the other hand, I would also warn that, this would also create some unnecessary attention and so, you at OP should exercise caution. Not all would mean well as they see the growth and changes in your life. Do well to take care of yourself.
This era of bitcointalk newbies are very passionate about bitcoin though OP is close to Hero member rank I still remember when he came into the forum and it feels like yesterday, it’s a joy to see genuine people in the crypto space.  In such a short time, Agbe has done for much in real life to educate his community about bitcoin. His love for bitcoin is inspiring, and I believe will have a ripple effect throughout the community.

he has the passion to share his knowledge basically to anyone, and that we commend. some people prefer to keep their knowledge to themselves for so many reasons. but he is one of those individuals who is indeed passionate to spread the word about this technology. and for him, i believe, it is his self satisfaction of sharing what he knows about this market. in time, there will be people thanking him for opening their doors to this market.

Another great move by @Agbe and this simply means despite any obstructions we keep spreading the good news about Bitcoin to let people know how Digitized the world have gotten into. No firm or any law can stop Bitcoin from Spreading regardless of any religion, countries and nation.

I am a little sad that some members here seems to be allergic not with Bitcoin

You don't have to be because it is said "Whenever information is being gotten then utilization is certain", and i believe there would be some people who are everly ready to utilized every single opportunities that comes across their way or given to them and they can put into practice from the day he spread and share the knowledge to them.

That's very intreating to me when I see people are using every moment and every place to teach other people about the new technologies including bitcoin, Church can be one good example and since that's a place where people gather together they can talk and do discussions about bitcoin, months ago in my country I saw people were doing the same thing in a park were even older people were attracted to them and it was an excellent experience for me to join them. I'm happy to see this happening because this way people can have more knowledge about these new technologies.

I am a little sad that some members here seems to be allergic not with Bitcoin but the fact that OP did his little contribution of spreading the benefits of Bitcoin to a religious organization. Though there is something called as separation of church and state, we should note that Bitcoin is inclusive and it does not care what religion you belong to or even if you believe on religion or not. There can be a time when following one's religious conviction or faith can be clashing with those in power as it happened in the past and we know that history has this big habit of repeating itself...and that can be the best time when Bitcoin can be a big tool for survival and that is why it is important that religious people should start looking at Bitcoin as a possible lifeline in times of troubles and crisis. Now, some people may agree or disagree with my point of view...and that is so fine with me.

Already came across a thread in which bitcoin was taught in a church. Crypto in Church

Here our OP have done a good job. Nothing offensive, For years and years Churches and Missionaries have helped in the development of a region through education. Now this is being proved once again. It is true, when the people gets education automatically we can experience the change happening over the region as well as the community.

Innovative technology is unlimited to human knowledge but rather human limits their knowledge to information that will help their financial growth and otherwise. In my country most indigenes are so religious to the extent that they think faith alone can give them all knowledge without consultation. Is really good that you took out time to teach your "brothers and sisters in the lord God" how to aqire Christian wealth 😎 in a digital aspect without much stress rather than being a market trader.

I am curious to know, were you able to teach all these concepts in just a day? How many hours did it take? Did you carry out and assessment (whether formal or informal) to gauge their knowledge before and after the class? Since you didn't give a the age range of the women you taught. Do you intend to have a practical session with them? Finally, what advise do you for someone who may want to replicate this?

Is it true what I'm reading? Teaching Bitcoin in the Sunday School Christian youth in the digital world? Shouldn't what is being taught in church school should be adapted to other Bible matters related to God. Then I'm not againts to spread and teach of Bitcoin to people, but that should be put in the right place to be discussed.
Yes it is true of what you reading. please go and re-read the topic on the sunday school manuel or as it is said at the OP, go to a nearby Church of God Mission INT'L and borrow the manuel and read the topic and come back here to ask me question.  Now please answer this question. Is it good to teach digital to christian youth? I did not teach to adopt the currency but I taught them to inform them to know that bitcoin does exist and in the proccess if anyone is interested they can adopt it but it is not by force. Yes Bitcoin is also related to the topic was hand. Because the topic is "Christian Youth in the Digital World". You have already against the spreeding of Holy Bible to the atermost part of the world. That topic you see is from the Bible. Where is the right place to discussed it?

Then what is your position in the Church? Are you a Pastor? Then I don't get the connection of Bitcoin with religious belief. I don't know but there is something wrong with the place you are teaching bitcoin for my own understanding. it seems that you don't respect the church. You did share Bitcoin with the members, but it seems like you didn't respect the church in my opinion. but all in all, there is nothing wrong with teaching bitcoin, it should only be placed in the right place to be discussed..
My position in my local church is, I am the suprededent (the Sunday School Teacher) teacher in the local branch. I am not a pastor but a teacher in the church. You don't get the connection bitcoin has with the topic provided? Jesus Christ of Nigeria. The Topic is saying "Christian Youth in the Digital World" I thank God that you said in you own understanding, because not all topics are meant for understanding but only for the spirited men and women. you mean I don't respect the church because I inform them about bitcoin? Are you for real? From your perspective everything is wrong.

my comrade, I did not do bad for informing the church about bitcoin so they will not fall for the fraudster in the digital world. Christians use the digital world (internet) as well. Please learn more from others thanks

To say the fact here u support bitcoin adoption, education and awareness but not in church, church is simply a sacred place designed for worship and not teaching of businesses and currencies, if bitcoin can be taught in the church then other cryptocurrencies will find there reasons to seindle in the church as well since it's a gathering of people, but the main purpose of going to the church must not be jeopardized, the church can organize a bitcoin session but not during a service time or day, in fact you may chose to hold a bitcoin class in the church premises as long as it does not conflict with the service day once you have the support of its leadership, fact but truth.

As much as I will commend you for this, I will also like to point out the fact that this topic is more appropriate in the off-topic section since there is nothing to discuss that is related to Bitcoin development.

Are you for real? Chai!!! So telling people about bitcoin in the church is bad, it is not a bitcoin dicsussion but a pornography discussion or evil discussion. From what you have said, I want to put to you directly that you are not here for bitcoin but for another thing. Ordinarily the Topic on the first image which is on the manual  and not my write up is related to bitcoin. " Christian Youth in the Digital World". How do you understand this topic? As a Sr. Member I was not expecting you to say this. Now again, the topic is talking about how the Christian should use the digital to do good things not for evil and bitcoin is digital currency which is for good and not for bad. Bitcoin can be discussed in any group of people if the people are ready to listen to the teachings. So I don't know from what angle you are saying that this thread should be move to off-topic. Please give more points. The point you give is religious bias. And please don't bring religious to bitcoin discussion. Bitcoin can be discussed in anywhere.
Hey mate don't take my comment out of context, what I mean is for the visibility of the topic which is very crucial to the discussion.

Anyways mate if you decode my message with a sensitive open mind you will see that we are on the same page and there is no need to be harsh or rude by saying such things am a pro Bitcoin and have come way back you can check my history.

This topic will make many people to convert to this church, because they will like to make friends with the Sunday school teacher that have good idea on digital currency to learn more from the teacher, because they will have more confident on their church teacher than any other teacher in the community.
Yes.. you are totally right on this, because it actually take few churches to go extra minds on organizing a session for digital discussion in church, and I really applaud @Agbe for the beautiful work just done, because for me I think everybody deserves to know about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, and left for them to decide if they will go into it or not, and that duty of spreading Bitcoin to all the nocks and crannies lies in the hands of each and everyone of us here on this forum

I so much appreciate this, letting people in church to know about bitcoin is a good idea.

Bitcoin Class in the Church 14th August, 2o22. (Christian Youth in the Digital World)
I have not seen how that is related to bitcoin or crypto as I read the part of the pamphlet in the above image, all I could see is what you jot down relating to bitcoin.

If you want to read the Topic from the Sunday School Manuel, go to a nearby Church of God Mission INT.L. Page 30 - 35. you will understand everything there.
It is page 30 to 35? Can you snap the pages so everyone can see the contents and how bitcoin and cryptocurrencies understanding are generally conveyed to youths in church?

This is a nice idea.

On the 14th August, 2022, I taught my church members about bitcoin through a topic from the Sunday School Manuel, Christian Youth in the Digital World.
This is a good thing that people in church be made aware and given proper information about the digital space to nip in the bud any misconception that may arise due to being too religious or over spiritual. Some over spiritual and religious persons can sometimes become too rigid in thinking and not easily accept some new innovations. To a young brother in church who suddenly begins to do well financially because he invested in crypto, some other uninformed members of the church may have a misconception that he has involved himself with something fraudulent when they hear crypto (I site my example in consideration of my environment, it may not be the same with your environment).

This sort of brief bitcoin class that you have somehow introduced into your Sunday school lectures can go a long way in clearing the misconception that anybody who involves in crypto is a fraudulent individual. Christians can still be involved in cryptocurrency, It is not a sin.

I see many times post about bitcoin classes in African countries and do really appreciate the effort that can help your community. What I would be interested in, is if you have any statistics of how many "students" actually start using bitcoin after your taught them about it.
