You’re done a very great job in spreading the news of bitcoin to your worship center, I hope they find it worthy and  embrace in venturing into it. It is very hard to persuade the older generations on how the digital world is moving fast, they were not expose to many of this especially those that don’t have basic formal education during their tender and youthful age. Only few will find it worthy and venture into it, I just hope those that you’ve enlightened about it will take a bold step in accepting and venturing into it.

The digital world gives enormous opportunities that people mostly the youths can tap into and better their lives. And Bitcoin is one of those uncommon opportunity. But one of the greatest challenges of these youths is inaccessibility to the right information. Due to the level underdevelopment and poverty in most developing countries, they become cheap target or prey to fraudsters and get-rich-quick promoters. Hence, most of the information they receive about Bitcoin are diluted and sometimes untrue. Thank you OP for striving to give the appropriate information about Bitcoin to the church congregation.

The first decentralized crypto betting platform
I suppose that in matters of faith one can teach anything, but I do not see the decentralisation of bitcoin as very compatible with religion, as there is no entity more centralised than God.

Anything as long as it helps to the adoption of Bitcoin is always good.

I agree.

As much as I will commend you for this, I will also like to point out the fact that this topic is more appropriate in the off-topic section since there is nothing to discuss that is related to Bitcoin development.

What do you say? For bitcoin development there is another section: Development and Technical Discussion.

In this section, which is the most general section of the forum, this thread is relevant.

Whether it is in the house, a small room or a church like the OP did.

Maybe share an update to this thread a few weeks from now. I'm a bit curious in what will they do now that they know anything about Bitcoin already. Will they invest? Will they ignore it? Will they be interested and learn more about it? Overall, good job still and just continue what you are doing Smiley.

I think, you are doing a nice work if what we see here is real because many members are looking for a place like this were they can learn many things about digital currency and how to use it to improve their offering and tithe in the church, so that the house of God can look more beautiful. This topic will make many people to convert to this church, because they will like to make friends with the Sunday school teacher that have good idea on digital currency to learn more from the teacher, because they will have more confident on their church teacher than any other teacher in the community.

Are you for real? Chai!!! So telling people about bitcoin in the church is bad, it is not a bitcoin dicsussion but a pornography discussion or evil discussion. From what you have said, I want to put to you directly that you are not here for bitcoin but for another thing. Ordinarily the Topic on the first image which is on the manual  and not my write up is related to bitcoin. " Christian Youth in the Digital World". How do you understand this topic? As a Sr. Member I was not expecting you to say this. Now again, the topic is talking about how the Christian should use the digital to do good things not for evil and bitcoin is digital currency which is for good and not for bad. Bitcoin can be discussed in any group of people if the people are ready to listen to the teachings. So I don't know from what angle you are saying that this thread should be move to off-topic. Please give more points. The point you give is religious bias. And please don't bring religious to bitcoin discussion. Bitcoin can be discussed in anywhere.

It is good to have added knowledge to the beautiful minds who paid heed to your teachings on that day. Bitcoin is a hot topic anytime and as such free teachings like this are a welcome development as the economy bites hard. More sessions should be created to further expatiate on the technicalities and terms you have introduced them to, so as not to render your candid effort futile. Bitcoin is the future of trade and investment. It is here to stay.

For the fact that this is just a religious time out something none conventional that does not have a continuous lifespan,  just a one Sunday thing can not add much to the body of bitcoin education.

The only way this is will most effective is to have a fixed time for this teaching on several Sundays to cover more important topics like trading and mining, because those are the major practical aspects in bitcoin education if you want to build trust and confidence in the mind of your listeners.

I applaud you for finding a way to spread information about Bitcoin. It is also good that your church and your pastor allowed you to use the Sunday opportunity for teaching about Bitcoin. It is a great opportunity considering that many of the members would usually flock to the church on that day for regular services. You'd get a bigger audience this way.

While I don't like that Bitcoin will be appreciated with blind faith or that people would immediately support it just because their pastors or religious leaders say so, I agree that it could indeed be used to bring about good things, which must be what the gospels are all about.

This seems like an interesting concept because of the demographic you'd see in a church. Do you know what ages you were teaching. (The majority of church goers here I'd say were under 20 or over 50-60 so it'd be quite an interesting group to educate on bitcoin - I've seen churches have a lot more variety of ages but those seem to be a lot bigger and have more of a chance for younger adults to acquire social contacts like older congregation members do).

Bitcoin Class in the Church 14th August, 2o22. (Christian Youth in the Digital World)

On the 14th August, 2022, I taught my church members about bitcoin through a topic from the Sunday School Manuel, Christian Youth in the Digital World.
In the class I taught them the basic concepts of bitcoin and it definitions and other digital tools and devices which is used to navigate the digital world (internet). The class was divided into two adult and children. And I took the adult class and I started with the explanation of Christian Youth in the Digital World, that is how Christian should used the digital world to benefit themselves and also to enhance the gospel, instead of using to defraud people, watching pornography and evil things etc and the tools and devices (Mobile phones, Laptops, Desktops, IPhones etc, then Social Media). What you do in life and your appearance also influence others to go to church.  Then  I started teaching Bitcoin with some related concepts like decentralized, Trustless, p2p, digital, currency, Immutable, decentralized digital currency, space, ecosystem, Disintermediated, Distributed, blockchain, cryptocurrency, Hard Capped, Censorship resistant, nodes, Real estate, Secure personal information. These were some of the things I taught in the Sunday School Class on Sunday. And the women with the Pastor were very happy that I taught them such vital information that them have not aware of.

If you want to read the Topic from the Sunday School Manuel, go to a nearby Church of God Mission INT.L. Page 30 - 35. you will understand everything there.
